Ah man. Just had a price drop to one if these in a local shop near me to 780 dollars with 3400 shots in it. And then the first video I watch is yours. And I also only shoot vintage glass. And your style is very similar to my fav youtuber Mattias Burling. Ah man my GAS is off the roof now......

S1 is super good for adapting vintage lens. My only complaints are 1) the buttons on the back dial are bit stiffy and 2) it cannot record full open gate at 30p without a crop (while s5m2 can).

I've shot nothing but M43 so far. I'm happy enough with it, but I'm considering a full frame camera to check out the quality difference, especially low light performance, and also because the M43 crop basically turns all my vintage lenses into some level of telephoto. 😅 I'm looking at Panasonic first because I'm reasonably familiar with their G cameras - good to hear that this model ticks a pretty big box on my checklist. Pity about the jpegs, but y'know, I need to start stretching my RAW editing muscles too...

What a beautiful video! Are there any chances to make a video on processing raw files, love the way your image looks, feel like films, epic! I am also S1 user btw

Thank you. I use photoshop raw, no lightroom, no presets. I'll consider making a video.

Samsies! I was looking for a camera to adapt my m42 and FD lenses. Got mine for a similar price at Adorama as well, and it also came with the 6k update. I only really dislike how huge it is (I prefer smaller bodies).

Nice! I find the size is much less of an issue when I adapt small rangefinder lenses.
