____\"Canned Heat" is the second single from British funk and acid jazz band Jamiroquai's fourth studio album, Synkronized (1999). Released on 24 May 1999, it was their second number-one single on the US Dance Club Songs chart[3] and peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart. The music video was directed by Jonas Åkerlund. The song is used in the film Napoleon Dynamite as the music of the title character's famous dance performance before a high-school assembly.
He's got the moves because they're organic vs the constant choreography of people these days.
Watching performers who move to the music on their own is the best.
He did an interview about the making of the videos & how they once tried choreography & he couldn't do it because
it felt so bizarre not to move naturally.
In this particular video there's the use of a halter & high wire, but the moves on the floor are all his own.

"Canned Heat" was released in 1999. Here it is 2022 and we're just now finding out about one of the best dance grooves in recent times. Still, as long as you're spreading the word about how funky Jamiroquai can be. I gave your reaction video a 'like' because people need to know it's okay to want to dance!

Little L, Cosmic Girl and Deeper underground are some of my favourite Jamiroquai tunes. Very few bands make me feel great almost no matter which song I play by them. Jamiroquai is one of these exceptions. Thoroughly funky, thoroughly fun. It was obvious from your reaction, that you enjoyed it and vibed with them too. That was very nice to see.

Didn't realize you had reacted to a Jamiroquai song. It's a shame your patrons aren't fans of this group. I had mentioned "Virtual Insanity" was a re imagined song of a reaction video you did of a Jocelyn Brown tune. Liked the reaction to this one though. But just for ss' and gs' you might like their stuff as buried treasure from the nineties and 2000s'. I didn't find them until a few years ago and they are great listening. Hoping your channel will grow, tc.
yeah the patron's actually have requested a few of their songs, but they're currently blocked on youtube.
@@EmpressReacts nice reaction 👍🏼 if you are having issues with RUclips blocking Jamiroquai videos, I’d suggest trying live concerts and not the promotional videos. The promo videos are fun, but the majority only feature Jay Kay so you don’t get to appreciate the musicians as much. They are one of those bands that are better live too imo there has been a fair few different musicians in the band over the years, but for me the original line-up was the best era. More funk/jazz than disco. The original bassist was only 17 when the band formed and was a groove/funk beast for someone so young.
