- Connie Britton was brilliant, relatable and immensely watchable as Tami Taylor in NBC's Friday Night Lights - maybe because she turned down the role at least three times before saying yes.

Connie absolutely NAILED her role. I’m so happy she said yes to it and not someone else
She just IS "Mrs Coach" as Matt called her! What a great and realistic relationship between Tami and Coach Taylor.
Favorite show ever!
Season one of Friday Night Lights will go down as the most perfect season of television. Nothing compares
The cast and writing was just perfect
I binged the first season in a matter of days, it was pretty much perfect. I'm now a fan of Connie Britton. :)
I can not imagine anyone else playing the part of Tami Taylor. Connie was WONDERFUL in that role!
Having missed the original, airing of FNL, my wife and I devoured the series on Netflix. Once the series ended, we looked at each other and said, “Now what?” We actually grieved the ending of such an immersive television show. The casting was superb. What made the show so believable was the actors being given the liberty to improvise on the script. Rarely do such outstanding shows come along.
The first episode is the best thing I've ever seen.
she is the perfect Tami, like I wouldn’t dare imagine someone else playing the role!
I was not expecting Principal T to drop a f bomb
I'm glad Tami wasn't "the coach's wife". She was Ms. Taylor. She was the guidance counselor, the friend, the adult you felt safe talking to, the teacher, the principal. Only gripe with the show is we never got to see Tami and Epyck connect again
Connie's character was awesome the show was simply amazing I really regret not watching it when it first aired back in 2006.
I'd like to know who else they had in mind to cast as Tami Taylor. I can't imagine the role without her.
I probably wouldn't know any if them
she and kyle had such huuuuuge hot chemistry. glad she was our tami ❤❤❤
Tami Taylor and all her awesomeness is why Connie is so miscast in “Dirty John.” It’s not Connie’s fault - she’s a wonderful actress - but I’m not buying her as a clueless woman who’s desperate to be loved.
She's really beautiful!
I love her❤
Wow I'm so glad she took the role
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS!!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
She didn’t even have to act it seems like. It’s like I’m watching an interview with Mrs Taylor
I don't get it, why did Berg apologize for the movie and her role? I thought it was great. Was it because she barely had a role?
@@flounder Tami Taylor being a school counselor and principal is one of the best parts of the show. Personally my favorite part. Especially when she got involved in the lives of her students
You literally just answered your own question 🤣 yeah they cut her part down a lot
I watched the TV show for the hotties.. and the football thing whateva.
