Great hack! Thumbs up given. I've been using the same idea for years (since at least 2010) I used felt pads that are used on the feet of furniture to keep them from scratching floors. The only drawback is when I have a watch with an exhibition caseback and good looking movement. Sucks.

Great idea. I did this long ago on a wedding band that was a little too big, just put a small bit of sticky material on the inside and it worked perfectly.

I've been using the soft side if self stick velcro. Dollar tree, $1.25 for 8 of them. Your choice of black or white. You can put them on the clasp side also, after trimming them. Works great.

This is an ingenious solution, and should work pretty well. Hygiene would be my only concern, but the material is cheap enough to replace fairly often. Of course, you wouldn't have to invent it if manufacturers didn't make watches without adjustment 🙄 I have avoided integrated bracelet watches, I really like the option of swapping straps.

The hygiene thing for me is a non issue. I guess it’s the same argument for any strap outside metal. But yea, I love to change straps like clothing

This idea sounds a bit ridiculous... BUT IT WORKS! In fact I'm amazed at how well it worked.
I did it slightly different though, I glued the foam to the inside of the clasp. I think it looks better as it doesn't raise the watch head. And if comes off with the bracelet in case you want to wear the watch on a strap.

That's an awesome idea. Ideal for watches with butterfly clasps.
I had a similar issue with my 43mm BALL Engineer 3 Legend. I had more than the standard number of half links and after swapping some of them around I had a pretty decent fit but would like to have had an even better fit. ***That cushion for the case back would have solved everything.
The other flaw with the BALL clasp is that it's a simple friction that pops with the littlest of pressure.
I had a Tissot with a butterfly clasp at the time that had locking side pushers and compared the two side-by-side. The spec's were the same so I immediately ordered the Tissot mechanism online and immediately installed it. Clasp pop issue SOLVED.⌚😎🤙

Yeah, I don’t know if you saw my recent video with my ball engineer 3. That’s the only complaint I have is the friction clasp. I’ll have to look into the other. Thanks!

@@allthingsrandom8137 If I remember correctly, the joints on the clasp that mate with the bracelet is 6mm (at least for my bracelet. The only real decision you need to make is how much or little protrusion of the pushers you want visible from the sides.
I decided to go minimal so they were almost invisible.

Great idea! Maybe silicone would be better so it doesnt absorb sweat? The material now might get dirty and smelly after a while.

I’ve been using this method for years but I place the tape over the clasp in order to keep the profile to a minimum

A simple yet elegant solution. Thank you for the video and the apport to the watch community.
