Great video. I recently had to think of a watch to get my 10-year old son, and needed something inexpensive and smaller in diameter. I went with a Timex, but I found that almost no one has videos/recommendations for this situation. You could do a great video on an inexpensive "first" watch for kids.
Teddy, my boy, you deserve millions of subscribers with the quality that you put out.

Oh, my GOD. You're the FIRST Channel that mention Gigandet! I currently have 2 right now & they're amazing for the price. & The official seller on eBay often put auction for quite cheaper too! Amaaazing value!
I have the Timex Expediton in blue and it worked great while working as a photographer at a summer camp. I was running around with it every day for around 12 hours and it held up fine.
That Braun is stunning! I'm tempted to pick one up...you're quickly becoming one of my favorite RUclipsrs and are a big inspiration for me. Thanks for all that you do, Teddy!
Hi Teddy, cheers from Argentina. Of course this line of "Affordable Watches" videos are very helpful, mostly for countries (like here) where the prices are more than the double you get there in the U.S. I recently bought the Casio World Time at almost $ 74 (US dollars). Imagine the rest... Keep up with the channel. Congratulations and thanks for your effort!
@@TeddyBaldassarre The related Omega F300Hz series would be great to get a look at as well (not to steal the show from the Accutron, of course! I would love to see that also!)
Glad to see you mention the SNK789. I pick one up for $68 a while back. It has a sunburst dial, polished bezel, and a brushed/polished bracelet. Every time I wear it I'm impressed by it all over again. One of my favorite pieces.
Another fantastic video, Teddy. I don't remember if it's in your other video but the Casio Marlin is a great watch under $50 (usually). Throw a better strap (possibly a Baldassare selection...) and it's a solid piece for the price imho. Thanks again for solid content!
Appreciate it Todd. Yes, the Duro is a great watch. I have just mentioned it so many times that I wanted to give some other watches their time to shine.
Thanks Teddy! You just made me feel awesome about my Black Friday Seiko 5 SNK Speed Racer purchase!! Now to swap out the meh bracelet with one of your straps...😎
Finally the straps drop! My Hamilton Jazzmaster is in dire need of a new strap. I'm curious though Teddy, we have small wrists-are short straps in the works?
Hi Garrett, potentially. I will say the contrast stitch padded strap and the hand-painted cognac fit well on a small wrist out the box. All the others, especially the rustic brown fits well too if you are not against punching additional holes in your strap if needed. All of them don't have an excessive tail that shows out the bottom either.
I bought my first watch a few weeks ago! A Seiko SNK803. I swapped the strap for a dark green mocha strap, with stitching matching the face of the watch. I love it. I'm on a really tight budget, but am hoping to expand my collection over time. I wish to learn more about watches and chronology, and i find the engineering extremely fascinating!
Hey Teddy! Great looking straps in your store. Any plans to add quick release spring bars ? Or is that not something you typically find on higher end straps. Great video!
Shoutouts for including Braun!! The BN0032 (with a date window) was the first watch I bought with my own money. Loved it. Too bad the crown broke off in a work accident.
Would be nice to have a video on (small size) watches for kids / teenagers, nieces, nephews... gives viewers some ideas for xmas present, thanks very much for great videos Teddy!
My theory: buy a cheap $20-$30 automatic watch off eBay. When it stops working in 2-3 years take it apart and try to fix it.(have actually been able to fix the movement on one and other problems multiple times.) If I can't fix it, I replace the watch for another $20-$30. In the end I only pay about $10 per watch per year and never need to worry about ruining an expensive watch.
Brother Teddy, I’ve been watching you grow your channel since you began-congrats, you’re doing well. I’ve always enjoyed watches but your broad & in-depth research has given me an appreciation & perspective I would not have pursued on my own. Your business evolution is inspiring. I will certainly visit your strap store, best wishes in going full-time, and stay true to “doing it your way.” Be well.
Do that Bulova video and ALSO you need to check out the Cadisen c1032. It’s available on Gearbest for $53.13 and it is a wonderful watch that I just got. Chinese for sure, but it’s an original design, stainless steel, sapphire crystal, hand winds, Seiko NH36 HACKABLE movement. Feels great on the wrist and I honestly love it.
I am going to Germany this weekend and get me a Braun watch while visiting the Red Dot design museum. I have had the alarm clock for ages and I always wanted one. Without Braun and Dieter Rams there would not have been Apple in it's present form. It will fit perfectly in my small quartz designer collection of Jacob Jensen, Alessi and Mondaine.
I believe you missed Casio duro which is a tough player with 200m of WR and screw down crown and great look for about $40-50. Accutron video would be cool. Cheers!
Excellent video, Teddy. Yes, a Bulova Accutron vid would be great. Yes, I will be purchasing a strap from you very soon. And...here’s an idea I think you should seriously consider. You need your own half hour weekly series on the History Channel. Something ala Anthony Bourdain, but obviously dedicated to Horology. A horological journey around the world with you as the host. THAT....would be amazing.
Good choices. Tough list to keep short. Love the website and products too. I will of course look there first before buying elsewhere. Prices are excellent.
Very nice website Teddy, good start. However, some of your links go to wrong things ... e.g., the big picture of "Watch Straps>Shop Now" links to "New Watches." Better check all links. Thanks, and good luck with it.

What's interesting right now is how some of these watches retain their price point but others reflect the inflation of the last year and have gone up over 100% in price, which is in line with a lot of items I purchase, some prices are up 300% just in the last 12 months.
Nice a Pope reference! 👏🏼 I’m sold on a couple pieces there that I might add to my collection too! Thanks. That Citizen looks like a great everyday beater watch.
