Great video. I recently had to think of a watch to get my 10-year old son, and needed something inexpensive and smaller in diameter. I went with a Timex, but I found that almost no one has videos/recommendations for this situation. You could do a great video on an inexpensive "first" watch for kids.
I have the Timex Expediton in blue and it worked great while working as a photographer at a summer camp. I was running around with it every day for around 12 hours and it held up fine.
@@TeddyBaldassarre The related Omega F300Hz series would be great to get a look at as well (not to steal the show from the Accutron, of course! I would love to see that also!)
My theory: buy a cheap $20-$30 automatic watch off eBay. When it stops working in 2-3 years take it apart and try to fix it.(have actually been able to fix the movement on one and other problems multiple times.) If I can't fix it, I replace the watch for another $20-$30. In the end I only pay about $10 per watch per year and never need to worry about ruining an expensive watch.
One of my favorite watches under $100 is my Vostok Amphibia, Automatic diver. Also, Teddy, would love to see a video on the Bullova Spaceview.

Oh, my GOD. You're the FIRST Channel that mention Gigandet! I currently have 2 right now & they're amazing for the price. & The official seller on eBay often put auction for quite cheaper too! Amaaazing value!
Hi Teddy, cheers from Argentina. Of course this line of "Affordable Watches" videos are very helpful, mostly for countries (like here) where the prices are more than the double you get there in the U.S. I recently bought the Casio World Time at almost $ 74 (US dollars). Imagine the rest... Keep up with the channel. Congratulations and thanks for your effort!
That Braun is stunning! I'm tempted to pick one up...you're quickly becoming one of my favorite RUclipsrs and are a big inspiration for me. Thanks for all that you do, Teddy!
Glad to see you mention the SNK789. I pick one up for $68 a while back. It has a sunburst dial, polished bezel, and a brushed/polished bracelet. Every time I wear it I'm impressed by it all over again. One of my favorite pieces.
Another fantastic video, Teddy. I don't remember if it's in your other video but the Casio Marlin is a great watch under $50 (usually). Throw a better strap (possibly a Baldassare selection...) and it's a solid piece for the price imho. Thanks again for solid content!
Appreciate it Todd. Yes, the Duro is a great watch. I have just mentioned it so many times that I wanted to give some other watches their time to shine.
Thanks Teddy! You just made me feel awesome about my Black Friday Seiko 5 SNK Speed Racer purchase!! Now to swap out the meh bracelet with one of your straps...😎
Finally the straps drop! My Hamilton Jazzmaster is in dire need of a new strap. I'm curious though Teddy, we have small wrists-are short straps in the works?
Hi Garrett, potentially. I will say the contrast stitch padded strap and the hand-painted cognac fit well on a small wrist out the box. All the others, especially the rustic brown fits well too if you are not against punching additional holes in your strap if needed. All of them don't have an excessive tail that shows out the bottom either.
Love this vid really help me with finding a nice watch I looked at vincero and the 5th watches and they were to expensive I'm a kid trying to get into watches great video
Good choices. Tough list to keep short. Love the website and products too. I will of course look there first before buying elsewhere. Prices are excellent.
I bought my first watch a few weeks ago! A Seiko SNK803. I swapped the strap for a dark green mocha strap, with stitching matching the face of the watch. I love it. I'm on a really tight budget, but am hoping to expand my collection over time. I wish to learn more about watches and chronology, and i find the engineering extremely fascinating!
Shoutouts for including Braun!! The BN0032 (with a date window) was the first watch I bought with my own money. Loved it. Too bad the crown broke off in a work accident.
I believe you missed Casio duro which is a tough player with 200m of WR and screw down crown and great look for about $40-50. Accutron video would be cool. Cheers!
Would be nice to have a video on (small size) watches for kids / teenagers, nieces, nephews... gives viewers some ideas for xmas present, thanks very much for great videos Teddy!
Very nice website Teddy, good start. However, some of your links go to wrong things ... e.g., the big picture of "Watch Straps>Shop Now" links to "New Watches." Better check all links. Thanks, and good luck with it.
Excellent video, Teddy. Yes, a Bulova Accutron vid would be great. Yes, I will be purchasing a strap from you very soon. And...here’s an idea I think you should seriously consider. You need your own half hour weekly series on the History Channel. Something ala Anthony Bourdain, but obviously dedicated to Horology. A horological journey around the world with you as the host. THAT....would be amazing.
Hey Teddy! Great looking straps in your store. Any plans to add quick release spring bars ? Or is that not something you typically find on higher end straps. Great video!
I own 2 Orient Capital II's in stainless and rose gold, both with white dial. I have a 7.5 inch wrist so I can carry a larger watch. Beautiful dress watch and I get lots of compliments on them. Good call, Teddy.
Hey Teddy love your vids. Just thought I would mention the Citizen BM 8180 is a solar powered Eco drive. The only reason I know that is I've owned one for several years, great watch. I liked it so much I bought my brother one for Christmas last year..Cheers
Do that Bulova video and ALSO you need to check out the Cadisen c1032. It’s available on Gearbest for $53.13 and it is a wonderful watch that I just got. Chinese for sure, but it’s an original design, stainless steel, sapphire crystal, hand winds, Seiko NH36 HACKABLE movement. Feels great on the wrist and I honestly love it.
I am going to Germany this weekend and get me a Braun watch while visiting the Red Dot design museum. I have had the alarm clock for ages and I always wanted one. Without Braun and Dieter Rams there would not have been Apple in it's present form. It will fit perfectly in my small quartz designer collection of Jacob Jensen, Alessi and Mondaine.
Brother Teddy, I’ve been watching you grow your channel since you began-congrats, you’re doing well. I’ve always enjoyed watches but your broad & in-depth research has given me an appreciation & perspective I would not have pursued on my own. Your business evolution is inspiring. I will certainly visit your strap store, best wishes in going full-time, and stay true to “doing it your way.” Be well.
Congrats on the new watch strap line! Wish you the best! You have really good taste in watches and I am sure your new line will be equally tasteful and awesome! Oh yeah, I have that Casio Royal in my collection too! LOL
Casio Duro is also nice for under $100... not sure how you feel about them but there are some decent spec chinese watches for under $100. Also perhaps the Vostok Amphibian.
Armitron makes a great variety of watches but are always forgotten or overlooked they have been around for a long time and make fantastic watches for a very affordable price both quartz an automatic love Armitron watches
What's interesting right now is how some of these watches retain their price point but others reflect the inflation of the last year and have gone up over 100% in price, which is in line with a lot of items I purchase, some prices are up 300% just in the last 12 months.
i like timex, but here in the philippines, timex watches are overprice..actually all watch brand here in the philippines are overprice..thats why i only buy my watch at pawnshops
Nice video Teddy..... I have a casio world time "Stainless steel" that I put on a barton rubber strap. Great watch that I probably get the most compliments on. Also so many seiko 5's out there meet the criteria that are just fantastic . Would love to see separate videos about cheap casio digitals and cheap seiko 5's. Definitely some fun options with the casios
Hey Teddy gr8 video Just wanted to know what are your opinion on steam punk style of watches cause I have one (UNFORTUNATELY) & I just don't know how to carry out with a nice outfit
Definitely do a video on that Bulova!
Consider it done!
Teddy Baldassarre - Awesome, BTW check this out lol;

I wish they'd reissue the spaceview in a wide capacity.
I would love a new Bulova Accutron Spaceview!
Since you started the straps store, can we get a tutorial video about how to change watch straps at home.
Yes...I absolutely need to make that video.
Teddy Baldassarre and recommend a watch tool kit please 😁

I really like this idea, Brian. Adding it to the list.
I just got my 9-year-old a Timex Expedition “Camper” 38mm. He loves it, especially the “Indiglo” lighting.
I know Im kind of off topic but does anyone know of a good website to stream newly released tv shows online?
@Jasper Gunnar Flixportal xD
@Louis Casen Thanks, signed up and it seems like a nice service :) Appreciate it!

love these kinda videos!!
I would love an Accutron video! I wear my 1975 Accutron everyday, very accurate
Let's make it happen!
@@TeddyBaldassarre The related Omega F300Hz series would be great to get a look at as well (not to steal the show from the Accutron, of course! I would love to see that also!)

@DiscoFalcon you're right - he is a mess most of the time. He's also jealous of other's success.
@@stricklanda47 For sure!
He just thinks he's badass because he yells on all his videos.
Nice mention of the Orient Capital 2. Note the balance of the day/date and neighboring numeral. It's a nice look.
Hi Teddy, The Bulova and the Orient Capital 2 are the best looking classy watches in this video. Very good suggestions.
Hey Chad, great to hear from you man! Thanks for watching!
Intro is super cool! Really adds a lot of professionalism to your videos 👍
Appreciate it, my friend. Thanks for watching!
Nice job mentioning the Casio MQ24-7B2.
Awesome video Teddy! I was pretty excited when I got the notification that you launched your website. The bands look great :)
Thank you, Sena. Appreciate all your support so far. Hopefully there is a strap you like :)
Nicely done, great video. I like seeing the not so main stream brands mentioned.
I like the look of the Expedition Ranger, looking real good.
Nice video as always! That’s the price range of my second watch a Seiko DX auto that my father give me on Christmas 1976!
These videos are so usefull, and you always keep lists fresh that is not easy. Good job

Great video, Teddy.
I’ll be sure to look at your straps when I get my first automatic watch. Been looking at the Tissot open heart for a while.

Hadn't heard of - but really liked - the Gigandet. Some great looking watches on their site - thank you.
I'm not a watch guy - I have a Garmin GPS watch with a half broken strap, but your videos are really quite nice. Good job!
The Precisionist is awesome in the Bulova line
Great mention!
Bravo, excellent video, and yes the tuning fork (Bulova) would be a great video all in itself.
No one does digital better than casio. Love the retro look of most casio digital watches.
