This is my first plant based channel I started watching. Please wish me luck with gardening as I had bad luck due to my home doesn't get proper sunlight and Bangalore being slightly on colder areas so insects starts growing in plants specially tulsi. Any tips is appreciated. Love and gratitude 🙏🙏
I have been loosing my indoor plants whenever I plant them in plastic pots due the lack of evaporation of water because it stays for a longer time in them and I haven't been overwatering them .On the other hand terracotta pots in my opinion are the best because they help in evaporation of water anyway better than a plastic one. Movability of these pots can be achieved by buying plant trolleys for them. I got it made for most of my plants from a blacksmith .
I have terracotta pots of 10,12,14 and 18 inches .

My jugaad pots are the food deliver containers.
Drainage holes using a solder iron and the lid becomes cover till sprout. Later the lid becomes base dish to keep flooring underneath clean.
I too have planted plants in many jugad pots like termocol boxes , buckets and plastic boxes in addition to the regular ceramic pots and teracotta pots. Loved the way you explained each one.

What u said is right..to grow we need a container..so using waste containers is good idea...I stated with bottle planters n then slowly went on buying pots.

Thermocol boxes or the boxes which are used to store fishes also comes handy while growing plants... my mom mostly use those for growing vegetables on terrace. Those are cheap in fact sometime free of cost and looks fine one can paint it also to make it look pretty.

I have 48-inch terracotta pots at my home in which I have planted tall palms and trees. They're with me for over 10 years and have grown from 1 foot to 7 feet now :D
P.S. They get broken in heavy storms so I have to change them almost every year or so.
I really liked the video. Please try to do a video on how to prevent occurance of Mucormycosis/black fungus/ any kind of fungal infection as a gardener because moist soil can be a good source of all these. I think it would help.

Good information...Thanks. I'm actually looking for pots. In fact I want to replace my terracotta pots with plastic ones as they are chipping from the top rim. Plastic ones are not environment friendly but they look neater for a small terrace.

The container packaging wood is called " dunnaging " or dunnage. Its very light and nice wood.

The "Jugadoo" variety, is the most commonly used one, by us 😁.

@@ujjaldey1117 ceramic pots can last for decades, if you handle them carefull enough... Or else grow bags serve the equal purpose.

All these are good but the jugaadu one is which I prefer...not only because they are zero cost but also because we recycle them...in today's time we can't go out to buy some...so in order to care for our mother earth, jugaadu planters are best...😊♥

Can you please make a video on choosing the correct rose plant from a nursery or the right way to get cuttings for the healthy growth of them..... The nurseries tend to sell us plants which literally have no other way of growing even after we prune it, it flowers once or twice and then dies
