    Helps a lot! All our childhood we have been watering plants thinking that all a plant needs is water and sunlight, if you dont water it on time it will die. However This video is great demonstrations of why you should be taking care of them regularly. We have been practicing gardening on our own till date learning from our ancestors and now with some help from experts like you. Thank you as we learn more when we continue to grow more and more plants these are great tips to keep in mind :)

    Hi Ekta, I have started making compost at home and I have two queries!
    1) I have observed some bugs in tea compost, is it OK or I need to add something to remove them?
    2) Making veggies waste compost and tea compost separately as I have heard that some plants need more phosphorus! Hope that's OK?

    • @monaoberoi3759
      @monaoberoi3759 4 года назад +1

      Bugs come when there is less of carbon and more nitrogen.
      Add more of dry leaves over the kitchen waste

    • @leaschmitt2496
      @leaschmitt2496 4 года назад

      As long as they get compost it's probably not super important which type of compost it is so you can just mix it.
      If you have bugs, depends which type of bugs. It's possible that kitchen waste attracts fruit flies. I suggest just putting it outside than or covering it. If it's something like worms, just leave them in there.

    I've recently encountered a rodent issue in my outdoor plants. Whenever I add compost to the plants, the rodents seem to dig it all up. Any suggestions?

      You can use liquid fertilizer.. Or remove the first layer of the soil.. Then add compost and cover with the top layer again..

      A Large Rodent trap is available , wherein many rodents can be trapped overnight ( 4 to 5 ) - it has helped me a Lot much better than the Gum pads available .

      It's for earth worms, serious issue.
      Use ready-made rodent bait..

      It could just be because of the seeds. They might have lost fertility

    I’m new to growing plants...want to bring the piece of the forest soul inside. It was a pleasant stumble on this channel. Calm, peaceful & informative. Love it. I wanted to ask if anyone is using the oxypot grow bags indoors & what are the issues with those. Have bought a few & making a list of the plants that seem fit for my home environment & sunlight distribution.

    Mam! The leaves of my tomato plant are turning yellow and then getting dried out. What to do?

      Hmm check the care u are giving..
      Are u keeping the plant in too much sunlight. Try to position it in a different way
      Are u watering it correctly?
      If after putting the plant in a different place of the problem presits make 4 deep holes near the stem (try not to cut any roots)
      And water in those holes
