I came for gardening tips and stayed for this sweet and contagious smile and positive attitude :) Thank you for sharing :) I'm half portuguese half indian (Goa) so i loooove the soft accent :)
I never thought I will fall in love with gardening. My daily schedule is hectic but now I have had a magical realisation that gardening is my stress buster. All thanks to you. Because your way of explaining and bringing about these gardening concepts are subtle pleasant and soothing to the eyes and ears. Thanks a lot. God bless you. These plants are blessing you too I'm sure😊
Some of the things in the video can be improved. 1) after breaking the coriander seeds, soak it for 12 hrs or at least overnight, before sowing them in soil. Cilantro usually takes 4-5 days to germinate if soaked, if they're not soaked, they may take upto 2 weeks to germinate. NEVER grow herbs/greens with nightshades (in this case you grew them with eggplant). The soil will not be able to nourish the greens. Herbs can be grown with herbs. You can definitely grow cilantro with banana plant (an example) 2) garlic takes 7 months or more to set harvestable bulbs. Of course depends on the temperature in the locality too, but it's not something you want to invest time on. Garlic should definitely be grown as a 'soil pest' repellent. 3) radishes can be grown all round the year, carrots cannot, UNLESS you buy seeds from the garden store, etc to start out. Hence the reason why the carrot tops melted. To get a proper start, root carrot tops in water. Do not grow carrots, potatoes if you have pets. Several dog breeds will get sick if they accidentally chew onto leaves of carrots or leaves of potatoes. 4) soak fenugreek seeds overnight too to give it a head start. Only spinach seeds need 24 hrs of soaking. 5) while rooting mint in water. Add a tsp of garden soil in the water glass. Change water every alternate day. It should be the same garden soil in which you'll plant the mint after it roots in water. And of course mint should have it's own planter and not grown with other plants. In short Buy the first batch of seeds from the store and continue from the harvest from there on. Both the seeds as well as the fruit/vegetable.
Thank you! Do you know whether you can use the dried coriander/fenugreek seeds that you use in cooking or do you have to buy seeds from a garden store?
@@user-pl4yq1oc1y You can use the ones available for cooking but check the date of manufacturing/packaging, the more recent, the better chances of germination. Coriander needs cooler temperatures to germinate, so you can grow them from kitchen seeds during Sept-Feb easily.
I am so happy you didnt spread misinformation about "regrowing" the 2 roots. People take those videos seriously and ruin thier future hopes in the gardening world
I've probably looked at thousands of videos on a similar grow stuff from home items topic. I have just fallen in love with this one because you are absolutely honest.
