If you used small sewing needles stacked neatly, would a pattern still come through or is there a limit to size before the metal melts together into one blob?
The knife is cool, but it would probably be worth investing in new gloves and using circular saws for forging and grinding. Eyes can't be fixed that easily

I can’t believe how filthy your workshop is even your tea pot is to contaminate to etch your knives in!!! Take a day off from blade smithing and clean up a little bit
ok, im finally gonna say it out loud, dude, your work is phenomenal in my opinion but, this newish camera man and his "B" roll footage is getting annoying. i for one want to see what you are doing as you do it. the cutting, grinding, shaping and drilling shots you used to have were great to watch. looking at the saw blades, tea kettle, the messy table and your hands being edited in to your work is boring as hell. in my opinion you should go back to the static camera showing how you are working and what you were doing. even if your PPE and techniques are not up correct standards, ill keep watching.

And maybe add a tight twist when you have your billet forged put a twist in it !!! I can imagine the pattern will be very unusual for sure
