"By the end of 2142, freezing temperatures, mass migration and warfare had rendered most of the PAC occupied territories uninhabitable. Desperate to sustain its dwindling population, the PAC changed its military focus to capturing key energy, food and water supplies. Shuhia Tabia, a large-scale, EU agricultural project located in northern Egypt, was one of the PACs primary targets. On November 11th, a fleet of Titans carrying six PAC Command Divisions flew into the skies above Shuhia Tabia. They were immediately greeted by the EUs 2nd Army. The resulting battle raged for more than a year."

Well, thats good news! Bf2 took ages to verify the client. 2142 Demo took seconds for doing this. I didnt know if it would take as much time in the commercial version, tho.

used to have crazy tunis harbour games back in the day :/ The problem was that the strategy was so limited to "go for middle flag and try to flank the others"

well this was never a real hardcore strategy wargame, even the project reality guys moved on to mod arma2

@Fredfredbug4 I always thought so too, but recently there have been a lot of servers playing Minsk. One map that nobody ever plays though is Tunis Harbour. :(

this is a great map that is balanced with infantry and vehicles most of the time. Its a shame its one of the least played maps. Minsk I believe is the least played.
