In todays episode on our Portugal Homestead, Tara heads out leaving the boys all alone. Whilst Tara is out, John, Crusoe, and Sawyer dig up Johns precious lawn, build a path and chase a snake from the homestead.

Once Tara left for her relaxing catchup with her friend…. Let the chaos begin. I was laughing my socks off as Crusoe and Sawyer were just being boys whilst John was trying to stay in control. Loved this episode. Looking forward to seeing the path. ❤
Can I repeat myself, I just love the patience that this man has with his children! Even though he’s busy, and Mom is not there, he still has the patience even when he’s getting a little frustrated!
There is nothing more entertaining than watching a Dad with 2 little boys … like trying to herd cats 🐈⬛ 😳🤣. Covered in dirt , chasing snakes , drinking from the milk carton and hiding grass bits everywhere 😮…..
Interesting that Crusoe tested you several times after Tara left. You handled it as Tara would with consistent, controlled learning/parenting. You two have great parenting skills.

I just ❤ how dad, I think his name is John, talks to his babies! He talks to them like he’s teaching them how to do whatever it is, he’s doing 😂 these boys are going to know how to do anything most dads don’t have the time to teach their children. I just love that these boys are going to be well-rounded and grounded.
Wow! Sawyer is walking like a pro. He has become so independently mobile in a week. And Crusoe seems so grown up. “Mom will be home real soon,” I hope.
Oh Tara, how fortunate you have been to have partnered with John. He is a gem.
Baby Sawyer is so gorgeous. All of a sudden he is an active member of the team. The snake was a special treat! You might tell Crusoe that if he picks one up it will bite and that will hurt. John, you are the most patient father and an excellent example to other dads. Im glad the stone arrived. Happy paving ! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Even though there are no poisonous snakes in your area, even common snakes can bite if their life is threatened.😮 It's good that John was closely watching over Crusoe when the snake slithered by him.😅 Another precaution may be to have the boys wear shoes or slippers outside in the summer.

As a former teacher of 32 yrs, I marvel at your patience! When all is said and done you would be great at running a children's camp teaching them about gardening and appreciating the outdoors.

It’s amazing how much help Crusoe can be. That boy knows things! Sawyer is so adorable, he’ll be helping dad also very soon. Such a wonderful family.
I laughed myself silly while watching the beginning of this video with John and Crusoe. Johns patience is truly tested with this one. It was like watching an old episode of Laurel and Hardy. I’m still laughing, sorry John 😂😂😂
