I love beautiful birds. There are some birds that have nests in our backyard on the porch. I don't know what kind of birds they are. I can see the hummingbirds. I know their hummingbirds. there's at least 4 other Kinds Of birds that come. I would love to be able to know what birds they are, thank you.😊

I've been watching birds for years. I would love this bird feeder. I love your channel and enjoy watching your projects and the seeing the boys growing up.
My family, in particular my mom, have always enjoyed having birds in our garden!
So much so that we have regular birds who have even figured out how to get my attention on my security cameras or by tripping my perimeter alarm when I’m a bit later to bringing their food out!
Birds are absolute characters and have always appreciated seeing the personalities and habits of my garden birds!
I would gift this to my mom, she is the queen of keeping her garden birds healthy and happy, offering them a wide variety of options! This attracts so many birds and it would be phenomenal to learn more.
I love to watch the birds but very often forget the names. This new feeder would be better than watching the TV and would help me remember all the bird names ❤
Seeing the old video of Crusoe playing in the puddles shows just how quickly he has grown! And it’s so precious watching Sawyer try to do everything his big brother does. I get such joy just watching them from afar! Thank you for sharing these moments with us at home.

I would love to gift one of these bird feeders to my parents for Christmas. They are in their 70's and they love to watch the birds.
My daughter has moved to a farm in central Vermont, USA. She has 2 boys who have quickly become farm boys, immensely curious about the world in which they live. The would LOVE to watch and identity the birds on their farm.

I just moved to Phoenix, Arizona recently and noticed there are a lot of birds that come around my house. They are very musical in the morning and I so enjoy listening to them. Would love to have a bird feeder to encourage them to stay. And knowing what kind of bird would be a bonus. These special bird feeders are a genius invention.

The need for their creative play area is very real. Their exploration area with the tree will be wonderful. Dad used to tell us that thunder was the dwarfs bowling in heaven.

My dad is 102 and in bed most of the time. He can no longer enjoy all the birds here at our country home. My mother was an avid birder so he got to know birds thru her studies. This feeder would allow him to enjoy the feather friends until he joins his beloved. He is on hospice only because his heart is wearing down from afib. I hope he is lucky enough to win.

I would so enjoy one of the feeders as I have recently lost my best friend that I spent many hours watching the birds in her yard her feeders. She passed in May at 101.
I currently only have a few bird baths at my house and I am sure they would enjoy snacks after splashing away!
Watching them always makes me feel closer to my dear friend whom I miss terribly.

Being able to identify the birds as they come to the feeder is fantastic!
Lovely video, how adorable are Crusoe and Sawyer! Just one advice concerning birdboxes: Make them with a lid that you can open to clean them after the birds have flown out. You can do that with a piece of burning paper to kill all fleas and mites and other vermin and take out the old nest. I found a dead chick in mine, and you and the birds wouldn't want that to remain inside for a next breed.

created such a mess. I just think he's be amazed by your birdfeeder!! He loves
anything with feedback and I know there have been many times when a bird
in our yard has escaped his finding out what it is. He loves working in our yard;

What neat bird feeders. There are many times a bird will fly through or rest on a branch and I can't place what type of bird it is. This would be awesome for my husband and I as we are both senior citizens and don't ambulate well. I just had major back surgery about three weeks ago so am not able to get outside much due to the surgery.. It would be nice to have these feeders tell you what you have passing through the neighborhood. We will have to wait though as have too many medical bills at this time due to my surgery and back issues. Your videos are fun to watch as usual and the boys are really growing. What patience dad has with the boys! Amazing.

A really lovely, fun video. It's been so nice to see the children "helping Daddy" build the bird boxes. Crusoe's vocabulary is awesome for a child his age. I think as the boys get older they'll get each other into all sorts of mischief, we already see Sawyer copying, and following Crusoe everywhere. As someone who loves birds (I know I can’t take part in the competition as Australia isn’t on the list) I love both the boxes you made and the concept of the bird feeders. In Australia anyone can help every October with the National Bird Count, by noting which birds and how many visit your garden in the space of ten minutes. The results are then shared with all that have helped out. 🥰
Two old birds from Holland are dying to use the latest technics to watch beautiful birds in our garden and get to know them.
This is so much fun watching you building the bird houses. In California where I lived, there was a pond and every year Wood ducks would come and raise their babies. I wanted to build some houses for them too. It is very similar to what you did except the door has to be a specific size. You can put cedar chips inside for their nest, and use some wire mesh for them to climb up to their hole. What you did, works also by roughing up the wood. Actually the ducks like a house up in the air to keep away the predators. Google it!

Your bird houses look beautiful! What would be useful is to put hinges on the roof plank to clean it or access the inside if needed.

I just loved the way Crusoe checked out the wood, whether it was straight or not. The little Handyman. Loved the birdboxes. Those modern boxes are amazing. I'm thankful for birds, they helped me during the 'Work from Home' period, as I have no street view from where I had to work, but just a tiny garden. I loved to see them play and grow. Oh my goodness, I have loved this episode. Such fun watching the boys. Looking back on Caruso playing in the mud puddles. Oh, I could hug them through the screen. I love the idea of an AI bird feeder. As a teacher, this would be a great addition to my science curriculum. Students could learn about the birds in their environment.

Your little boys are so cute together, Crusoe is a typical big bro and he definitely looks out for Sawyer. I love the bamboo bird house, it just naturally fits in the environment. I live on the ground floor of a block of flats and I am the only resident who put bird feeders in the trees around me, but I do love watching them stop in for a snack. My son is 21 and still lives with us. He has a love of animals and birds. Believe me we get MANY raccoons every evening. He loves bird watching and has taken some really beautiful photos. He would love a feeder which would notify him of activity in the garden! Love your show (another x-zim)

This vlog was adorable. It is so awesome that Joel and his mom and dad are like family. That is how I grew up. We lived away from our grandparents too, but we all adopted grandparents of our own. I agree with the saying that it takes a community to raise a child. Great job on the bird feeders. The birdfy looks very neat. I would love to have one, but the darn rats are a problem in our area.

Wow! That bird feeder is amazing! As a homeschool mom what fun we would have to learn about all these different birds! Using this to learn and EXPLORE 😉 more about birds that we see would bring on a "hands on" eyes on experience that my kids will talk about forever! my heart would flutter with this! Would bring whole different meaning to bird watching!
During winter birds do not always find food easily because of cold and snow. A tool like this is a gentle way to share love with them, who are our Melody creators: high frequency vibrations for planet in transformation. I wish I could buy one for my garden but right now I simple can’t afford it. I will take inspiration from John’s wood bird boxes and create one. Crusoe is truly a little man and thanks to you two he's learning so much and Sawyer is following in his footsteps. I loved it when they left you and went down the path completely on their own....cute! Great birdhouses!!!
I would love the birdfeeder to give to my brother-in-law who served in Vietnam. He has severe PTSD and things like this. Bring him peace of mind and joy he’s 74 and he still suffers extreme PTSD. I would love to win this so I could give this to him.
During COVID my husband and I spent all the beautiful days of spring, summer and fall outdoors watching the wonderful birds who came to our yard to eat and enjoy the various birdbaths. It was enchanting and we learned so much about the various species.
Watching Jon and the boys build bird houses was such fun.
I just love watching your videos immensely,it gives so much pleasure seeing what a beautiful family you really are ,how you interact with your children,how happy they are and care free,how you let Crusoe help and how amazingly helpful hd already is !!
