I have to tell you I have a love/hate reaction to your video. I loved the presentation; the thorough, detailed and comprehensive information was excellent. Now the hate part: you just made me spend 1300.00 on the system and stands. Not kidding. Ugh, expect a comment from my wife.
Ooh, sorry I could help! I Hope she can forgive me after you get it set up and have your first movie night at home. Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos and checking out the channel I appreciate it.
Finally setup the system over the weekend and, despite not calibrating and fine tuning everything yet, I have to say I am blown away by the sound. The clarity, the rumbling bass, the subtle yet spatially enveloping surround sound...speechless. Another terrific recommendation and wife is pleased too so yay!
Tbh Sony soundbars suck ass. My jbl soundbar sounds better than my Sony soundbar, and it was cheaper than the Sony soundbar as well. An LG or Samsung soundbar set is much better than the Sony ones as well unfortunately. It sucks because I really like ldac and upscaling that Sony headphones do, and I love their tvs.
There was one thing you forgot to mention. To get the Dolby Atmos functionality, you have to position the surround speakers in an angle facing the ceiling. You have the option of doing .2 or .4 by adjusting either 2 or all 4 surround speakers, besides that awesome review love the lighting 👍
@@gsveeb yes, the sound bar itself you'll get 7.2.2. Now to simulate the 7.2.4 you have to position the sorround speakers facing upwards. In other words you get the two up firing from bar and two up firing the surrounds.
That is one great video and narration...thanks a lot for the demo....might i say i'm impressed... and I know the mic doesnt do justice...Will buy this ..thanks again
Just FYI... u can link up dual subs(or more) to the Sony htst5k without any loss in performance, durability or safety. If u havent tried this I HIgHLy HIgHLy recommend you try it!👍🏼😎
Just to set the record straight, Dolby Atmos when streamed is in name only, you cannot get Dolby Atmos through a streaming device, even if you got the Apple 4K TV you still will not get true Dolby Atmos, I have LG OLED E8 also an STR Sony 1080 AV receiver I have a 5.1.2 setup I even see the Dolby vision and Dolby Atmos logo come up on my TV it still doesn't mean that im getting true Dolby Atmos, only way you able to get true Dolby Atmos is by passing through a Blu-ray player so therefore you basically need Blu-ray discs. there is one exception, which is only just come out which is the new LG OLED C9 which has the 2.1 HDMI and because it has 2.1 it allows you to triple your bandwidth and that is the only reason why you're able to stream Dolby Atmos because you got triple bandwidth and that's what it's all about bandwidth!!!
You are incorrect, but correct. You can get "true" Dolby Atmos from limited streaming devices or game consoles, from limited streaming services, from limited streaming content (more and more though). The difference between Blu-Ray and streamed content has to do with how the Dolby Atmos object base sound is xmitted, lossless v lossy and which audi. For example, Apple 4K TV xmits to a soundbar Atmos metadata in lossless Dolby MAT v2.0 rather than lossy DD+, whereas atmos capable blu-ray players use Dolby TrueHD losless audio codec where Atmos data is an extension of TrueHD. You are also incorrect when you say that you have to pass thru a Blu-ray player to get true Atmos. Atmos xfers through HDMI 2.0, it does not xmit through ARC, but will xmit through eARC. Even though your tv may be Atmos capable using its onboard apps and speakers, In order to use a tv's onboard streaming app with an external soundbar/speakers for Atmos, you need eARC, since ARC bandwidth is to narrow. True Dolby Atmos is the metadata information. You are correct in part about "true" Atmos, in that streaming providers have compressed the data before it hits streaming devices, even though the streaming devices may xmit to your front end hardware (e.g. AVR or soundbar) in lossless format. For example, Netflix determined from its own research and external data, that you cannot distinguish anything above 640 kbps for 5.1 surround and 768 kbps for Dolby Atmos from the original source master. Now audiophiles may believe they can hear differences above those rates, but audiophiles also spend tens of thousands of dollars on power cables they believe can improve sound (i'm one of them).
TO MUCH BASS doesn't make a surround sound system sound good. The BASS has to be set perfectly. How does this stack up to the new 5.2.4 HARMON / KARDON SAMSUNG ??
I agree and think that 2 subwoofers in that small of a room is overkill. It's all about placement and balancing all of the speakers for the best quality...not something that just goes loud and makes you feel uncomfortable.
Nice video , I have the nakamichi 7.2 and let me tell you guys sounds amazing to watch movies and listen to music I can imagine how the 9.2 sounds I'm so happy with this sound bar
I just received mine today and I am very excited to set this up! Thank you for your review and demonstration. It will be very useful in the setup process.
@@CHGadgetz Holy sht! I am loving it!!! You're right, it sounds truly amazing and does shake the house. Hopefully i won't get kicked out of the neighborhood! :) Thanks again for your video..
Get a Samsung Qled 65" to complement the speaker, than you got a full home theater in your house bro. Good review by the way ! The 9.1.4 came down to $999 during Black Friday sales this year.. I may consider it in the future.
Watching this in 2024. Still worth buying? Most important- DIALOGUE? What’s everyone’s experience hearing what’s being spoken ? So many times I have to turn on subtitles or ask Apple “ what did she say”? Thanks everyone
How does this compare to the Bose Soundtouch 300 or 700? I've not heard this soubdbar, but to this point no other soundbar has even come close. Would love to see how it stacks up since the other soubdbars you compared in this video are pretty good, but not in the league with the Bose IMO. Nice video and good job.
Just set this set up for my home theater setup. And let me tell you it is astounding. The nakamichi 9.2 setup is no gimmick. The multiple channels make it truly surround sound. I even have a a room at 9 ft x 15 ft making it small, and the surround speakers are only around a foot away from the listener's heads. This is no problem however due to how much you can adjust the settings. All my friends and family are blown away by this system and quality.
it really depends if you are are playing some music with exaggerated bass frequencies then it might but on average the DSP does a good job to correct any possible distortions in regular play back
I have this Nakamichi unit and the subs sound great but they are huge. In the future I hope Nakamichi invests sub technology to reduce size but make it sound as good.
I get this amazing sound Systems and is awesome I love it....but I need to know if I need like a firmware downloading or something like that for a better sound or quality...thanks from your prompt answer....than you very much....
If you bought the 2018 model then yes you will need to update the firmware in order to get the full effect of that Dolby Atmos, but if it is the 2019 model then just have to use the remote to tweak and find the settings that work with your room, however,I will check to see if they release a new firmware for that too
Thanks G H Gadgetz and I get the Model 2019 9.2.4 Shockwave Nakamichi .....thanks a lot if you send that information about the firmware for this Model....thank you very much....
Can a desktop computer be paired with this soundbar? If not able to pair, then is there a hook up for audio from soundbar to desktop computer? And how about Directv with this soundbar: would there a problem hooking up to this soundbar using Directv?
Is this soundbar able to reproduce Dolby Truehd? Is so, what would be the configuration? 4K Blu-ray/eARc>soundbar>TV? or 4K Blu-ray/eARC>TV/eARC>soundbar? Thanks in advance.
Since 3/6/2017 I owned an LG 55-Inch B6 4K UHD Multi-HDR with Dolby Vision Smart Flat Big-Screen OLED TV for the extremely very best advanced cinematic immersive dynamic realistic fully-detailed crystal-clear impactful state-of-the-art groundbreaking stunning beautiful picture quality Since October 2018 I bought and owned a Sony HTZ9F 3.1 Channel Dolby Atmos and DTSX Soundbar and Subwoofer though they sounded good the soundbar I owned does not sound as awesome as a Dolby Atmos/DTSX Home Theater Surround Sound Loudspeaker System with Four Loudspeakers a Center Loudspeaker a Subwoofer and Two to Four Upward-Firing Height Elevation Loudspeakers for Dolby Atmos and DTSX So throughout 2021 I have been saving lots of money on a high-end/performance/quality/fidelity Dolby Atmos home theater with six full range woofer drivers and two side tweeters that bounce sound off walls and ceiling since all three of them not only got very awesome reviews from audio critics and users but are all three a hybrid of a soundbar and an audio/video receiver-based home theater moving surround sound system that sounds the closest to a real life movie theater with Dolby and IMAX 3D object-based multidimensional moving surround sound In 2021 I wanted only either a 9.2.4 or a 7.2.4 channel Nakamichi Shockwafe Dolby Atmos and DTSX Home Theater Surround Sound System with Two Big Subwoofers for a total complete Dolby and IMAX 3D Object-Based Multidimensional Moving Movie Theater Cinema Surround Sound On 10/24/2021 I decided to buy a Wired 5.1.2 channel Dolby Atmos Home Theater Moving Surround Onkyo TXSR444 7-channel Dolby Atmos audio-video receiver with 4K Passthrough Dolby Surround Dolby Atmos DTS-HD Master-Audio AccuEQ Room Correction Calibration and Bluetooth on 11/6/2021 such as two upward firing loudspeakers two tower floorstanding loudspeakers one center loudspeaker two surround speakers one big 12-inch subwoofer and a lot of speaker wires after they all came to the house between December 2021 and Late January 2022 I gave my old Sony HTZ9F and SAZ9R surround sound Dolby Atmos soundbar system to my twin sister and her boyfriend’s house in early-February 2022 in order to hook it up to their newer LG 55-Inch C1 4K HDR and Dolby Vision Smart Flat Big-Screen OLED TV located in their heavily beamed ceiling Between February and March 2022 while we were hooking the loudspeakers to the receiver and calibrating the Dolby Atmos home theater system in the Spring of 2022, it sounded very very good while watching films and tv shows and on Thanksgiving 2022 the front floorstanding tower loudspeakers are not connected to the receiver so I connected the floorstanding tower loudspeakers to the receiver with the remaining speaker wire and after calibrating all the loudspeakers while watching many high octane films and tv shows plus listening to music all with big sound they all sounded a lot much better cinematic dynamic room filling crystal clear immersive impactful rich detailed realistic bass/treble/midrange-heavy incredible that sounded the same as both either six of the Nakamichi Shockwafe Dolby Atmos and DTSX Wireless Home Theater Surround Soundbar Channel Dolby Atmos and DTSX Home Theater Audio/Video Receiver for under $1,000 - S970H in which it is a huge bestseller, got very awesome reviews from audio critics and users and has all the best new have: DTSX DTS:Neural-X 8K/4K Passthrough/Upscaling Audyssey Room Correction EQ Calibration Multi-HDR with Dolby Vision Multiple Music Streaming Apps via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth got and after both setting my one year old Klipsch 5.1.2 channel loudspeakers speakers to the new Denon Atmos/DTSX Receiver from 2022 and calibrating the loudspeakers watching and enjoying many many high octane films and tv shows plus listening to music sounded a lot much better dynamic immersive impactful awesome room filling richer realistic cinematic detailed punchy crystal clear bass/treble/midrange-heavy than both my old Dolby Atmos receiver from Onkyo and my Sony HTZ9F and SAZ9R 5.1 Channel Dolby Atmos Soundbar System in which it not only sounds the same as either of the Nakamichi Shockwafe Dolby Atmos and DTSX Home Theater Surround Soundbar System Series but also a real movie theater with Dolby Atmos and IMAX 12-Channel Sound in which I am both incredibly immersed and greatly pulled much deeper inside the center of the action for all kinds of films tv shows or music in the way the color graders, editors, special visual effects team, the filmmakers: directors producers writers cinematographers production designers the sound team: engineers/mixers, designers/editors/recordists, the dialogue/adr people the foley people and the music team: composer conductor orchestrator mixer singer/band, producer, arranger, recordists, and editors intended them to watch enjoy and feel them and my 5.1.2 Klipsch+Denon Dolby Atmos/DTSX Premium Home Theater Moving Surround Sound Loudspeaker System sounds just like the Nakamichi Shockwafe Dolby Atmos and DTSX Home Theater Surround Soundbar System Series that I originally wanted to own either one of them
Sorry this system is garbage. I brought this sound bar due to the high reviews it got. After using it I would say the reviews are way overly positive. Either everyone has very low expectations or they have never heard a quality system. I guess if u are going from an ipod to this this is a great system. But if you have something to compare this system (like Bose) with than there are a lot of shortcomings that does not demand this price. The followings are some of the issues I found with the 7.2.4 system after 2 weeks of usage: 1. The system is present to turn on at volume 45, need to load patch to fix. 2. The sound system logic is very basic, nothing compares to a full fledge sound amplifier that provide much much more audio detail. This system lacks any directional audio detail. 3. You can bearly hear anything out of the rear speakers, they are only ON about 5% of the time. 4. The sound producted from the system is just loud with very very minimal surround sound detail. 2d audio vs 3d audio 5. The connection wire for the rear speakers are very thin, it's about 3mm thick. I guess it doesn't matter because no audio comes out of it anyway. 6. The speaker setting display is on the center soundbar behind a grill, display in pixel led. You will not be able to see the display if you are more than 5-8ft away. For the price they couldn't create an on screen display? Useless 7. The Audio sounds like you are in a tunnel, I guess thats what they think 5.1 should sound like. 8. The speaker will sometime pop as you traverse through Netflix selections. 9. There is a 5 second delay in Netflix after a selection before sound comes out of the speakers. 10. The solution for the slow processing speed for the volume control is to have the volume selection slip every other number. So, the volume control is only usable by 2 digit increments. 2, 4, 6, 8, etc. So if u think 7 is just right too bad that is not available. Super dumb! 11. The inwall screw anchor is one size too large. There is a great chance the screws could pop out. You should insert an additional anchor into the one provided. 12. The sound level fluctuates. 13. The HDMI cables that came with it are garbage. For a grand, I would think they could spend $10 bucks for a better cable. I guess milk you once since they know you won't buy again. Smart business. 14. The location of the HDMI plugs are brainless. This is a sound bar that will be mounted on the wall below the TV. But the placement of the HDMI plugs are at the back of the unit not even facing up. Little thought was put in to design this system. I just did all the work for them on version 3.0 for free. Overall, this system didn't meet my expectation and the brand quality of Nikamichi. Will come back if I find anything else. Please give me a thumbs up if this was helpful. Update (April 2021) - These speakers are garbage. I just can't express how much I hate these speaker. Over price junk. It has so much problems that it should be considered Beta speakers. Today the soundbar just started to automatically turnoff every 20 mins. I guess it because it decided to put itself on standby mode. I spent 2 hours and still cant find out how to turn that off. JUNK! (JAN2022) - I had to come back here to provide another update. I thought I could get use to the system after some time. But one can never get use to garbage because it just get more disgusting over time. This sound bar is beyond the ability to describe. If you pay over $200 for this system you are over paying. That is why you see so many people trying to dump this garbage. I surprised there is a class action lawsuit for the grief this system cause! Please save yourself the agony and buy something else.
At this point in the field of sound bar availability of high end sound bars if the sound bar is not equipped with Earc do not purchase it wait for the release and implementation of Enhanced Audio Return Channel
Outstanding functional review- I can tell you have actually used the equipment for your own entertainment. The big question is are the dual subs just a decoy away from the lack of overhead sound reflection as the current configuration can’t point any forward speakers upward? Can I hear the rescue chopper coming? Also Nakamichi recommends cable/sat boxes be connected to the TV and NOT the sound bar in their “how to connect” video. Keep up the good work and let me know if you get good overhead sound reproduction.
When you get yours you can choose to position your surround speakers in that upward firing orientation to get the similar effect I didn't do that set up in my initial review but you can try it when you get yours. Also I think Nakamichi recommend connecting the cable/settop box to the TV instead of the soundbar because of compatibility issues, but you can definitely test if yours work. Thanks for taking the to watch my videos.
Most common connections are via HDMI-Arc or Optical, although if your projector is attached to the ceiling I understand the dilemma.... You might be forced to place it in the back of the room for easier connect ability or integrate in wall/ceiling wiring which is much more of an undertaking. Whichever you choose it is going to require some intensive cable management, sorry. Good luck either way!
You only need 1 powerful sub and know how to place a sub this speaker highs get washed out by the subs and the subs also dont go so low but they do bump hard
@@CHGadgetz I own the 9.2.4 nakamichi bose 700 5.1 sound bar and the B&W formation 5.1 by far the loudest and strongest thump but when it comes to clarity its un matched but of core if you only care about base this is amazing I use it for rap music and war movies the bose and b&w subwoofers gets lower I believe the nakamichi is only accurate down to 40 hz is when they start to get distorted but they are extremely good and better then most the competition
Ooh ok cool, someone recently asked me if I ever test the Bose 700 and unfortunately I haven't got chance to check it out yet, but I definitely want to get in soon
@@CHGadgetz its nice for not having Dolby atmos the sound stage is so wide and spacious you honestly dont need it they have their own technology I've bought bose 700 because my living room ceiling halves curves not flat so Dolby atmos soundbar won't sound good because it reflects is the wrong way my other rooms Dolby atmos is nice because they are boxy rooms and ceiling is flat
@one2moja1 The problem of people like you buying a cheap amplifier up to $ 1000 that doesn't give more 600W total power and wanting to connect 7.1 speakers including monstrous and cheap bass and wonder why the amplifier heats 🔥 up and burns 💥
Not really, the purpose of a sound bar is to substitute for a real home theater system, but what happens is most soundbars fall short of achieving that because they strip away so many of the key factors that are needed to replicate being at the movie theater, so the more speakers you have the better it is for Dolby Atmos to deliver a realistic representation of that experience.
It's definitely closer to HTIB to me, almost like they should start calling these soundbar + especially considering it having 2 subs with 4 additional speakers!...I don't even have 2 subs with my current home theater..lol
Thanks for this great video. The samba can create just the sort of thing I would like to have setup in my sitting room but unfortunately it is not available in the UK. So we still have to use our cardboard boxes as sound speakers attached together with a bit of string.
I just ordered this sound bar surround sound I can’t wait!! 😀 thanks for info it helped me make my decision the two 10” subwoofer 🔊🔊are going to be sick!! I also am buying a Blu-ray ultra player later today and ready player one movie
@@Eshwarchander it's just not possible. Impossibly high custom costs, not to mention risk of damage. Only option is to have someone buy in US and have it sent by ship with other goods. But it will take months to arrive, mind u. In India the best option is bose sound bar or lifestyle , lg sony
It does not require an AV receiver or any Amp, but you can run all your video and audio source through your AV receiver if you already have one and then connect the ARC HDMI to the soundbar. Otherwise just connect everything to the Soundbars 3 HDMI ports on the back.
I have to say you delivered on all topics, I am getting my nakamichi 9.2.4 today I did do my research for quite some time and this is the one for me the only thing I will need is to replace my tv but over all you did a better job than most people who try to explain and demo this product thank you for the information peace out my brother

I'm about to go the same route. I have a 55" Sharp $298 tv. Been shopping around for a 75" to replace it, but now thinking that I'd rather start with the 9.2.4 sound system and get a larger tv later. I'm sick of my 2.1 LG soundbar and really looking forward to the Atmos experience... besides, the picture on the $300 Sharp is pretty sweet for a cheapo set. Nice review btw, love the way you break everything into segments and explain why you feel this way, and also that your voice is pleasant and easy to understand without a bunch of "ummm's" (drives me crazy when people haven't figured out ahead of time what they want to convey).
Lol you could do that , but the Shockwafe Ultra did beat it along with two other soundbars in a sound comparison test with hundreds of random strangers at CES a last year. Check it out the videos are on RUclips.
I own this sound bar, and let me tell you guys something, nothing compare with this, i us to get a sonos sound bar, samsung harman kardon too, and this beat those easely, the sound is stunning, this sound bar won the best sound bar in the wordl in 2018. This is the only sound bar that can compete with full hometeathres, i highly recomend.check this one out.
You can. Even at a very low crossover point e.g 80hz. There are usally tell tale signs where the woofers are hidden too in any room. 20 - 40hz maybe no, but at 70 - 110hz, definitely.
Awesome video. Could you tell us what speaker stands are you using for the small speakers? Also, what do you think of 1 sub in corner behind the HDTV and one behind on the opposite side? Thank you so much.
They are the Atlantic Adjustable Height Speaker Stands amzn.to/2uJxSXU Yes, 1 sub at the corner beside the TV and the other sub on the opposite side of the sofa can definitely work its another good layout that works just as well. you can definitely adjust and tweak the positions in order to find your sweet spot. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and watch I really appreciate it
Great review! Is this soundbar able to reproduce Dolby Truehd? If so, what would be the configuration? 4K Blu-ray/eARc>soundbar>TV? or 4K Blu-ray/eARC>TV/eARC>soundbar? Thanks in advance.
No eARC ? That's a shame. Here's to hoping the next generation (2020 ? ) Nakamichi models have eARC. Then I will jump in with a 9.2.4 beast. But must have lossless eARC. Was ready to buy. I'm sad now.
When you can tell WHERE the BASS comes from even on a SINGLE subwoofer, it means either that the sub is badly misplaced or MORE likely, it's turned way TOO LOUD - properly balanced and well INTEGRATED bass is the holy grail of listenable movies and music. Two subwoofers have the advantage of more evenly "pressurizing" the room and each unit is less stressed while doing so but ONE subwoofer is just fine if you haven't got a huge room to fill.

Totally agree with that! 🔊
Still idk why the price is not drop
I buy these i add extra upper speaker
Sounds amazing...on my 2mm iPhone speaker. 🤣
Did you get one? Lol

Thanks! really appreciate you taking the time to watch and for subscribing.

Congratulations, how are you liking it so far?

Get a Samsung Qled 65" to complement the speaker, than you got a full home theater in your house bro. Good review by the way ! The 9.1.4 came down to $999 during Black Friday sales this year.. I may consider it in the future.
Hi How can I get this product in India... Can u help me...
I am not sure.
For the money and what you get there is no comparison.
Bose is no so good is only nem end high price nakamichi is no only best sound is smart to
Have you seen the Senheiser sound bar? The price is 2.200 Dollars and offer much less.
No, I am not sure, which model is that?
@@CHGadgetz Senheiser AMBEO
Just set this set up for my home theater setup. And let me tell you it is astounding.
The nakamichi 9.2 setup is no gimmick. The multiple channels make it truly surround sound. I even have a a room at 9 ft x 15 ft making it small, and the surround speakers are only around a foot away from the listener's heads. This is no problem however due to how much you can adjust the settings. All my friends and family are blown away by this system and quality.
Nice good hear that you guys are enjoying it. I know the feeling the system makes you want to watch movies and Netflix all the time.
Is it true when its turned up you get some distortion
it really depends if you are are playing some music with exaggerated bass frequencies then it might but on average the DSP does a good job to correct any possible distortions in regular play back
Thanks so much for the review cause I’m looking to get a new speaker set up cause I just bought a new LG OLED TV THE CX 65”
Congratulations that LG OLED is really good choice, happy I could help. Thanks for taking the time to watch.
2 massives 10" subwoofers LOL
That part is really funny huh.
9.2.4 compare to jbl 5.1 which has better earth shaking bass
9.2.4 hands down.

Can a desktop computer be paired with this soundbar? If not able to pair, then is there a hook up for audio from soundbar to desktop computer? And how about Directv with this soundbar: would there a problem hooking up to this soundbar using Directv?
Are the back n side speakers wireless too?
The subwoofers are wireless, but the side surround speakers have to be connected to the subs.
How is it for playing music.?
its ok, but not great it can get the job down
Anyone having issues with a firestick 4k plugged into the sound bar? Mine keeps flashing back and forth from no connection and black screen...

Are able to hear or feel the Dolby atoms above you ? Thanks !
Is this soundbar able to reproduce Dolby Truehd? Is so, what would be the configuration? 4K Blu-ray/eARc>soundbar>TV? or 4K Blu-ray/eARC>TV/eARC>soundbar? Thanks in advance.
Since 3/6/2017 I owned an LG 55-Inch B6 4K UHD Multi-HDR with Dolby Vision Smart Flat Big-Screen OLED TV for the extremely very best advanced cinematic immersive dynamic realistic fully-detailed though they sounded good the soundbar I owned does not sound as awesome as a Dolby Atmos/DTSX Home Theater Surround Sound Loudspeaker System with Four Loudspeakers a Center Loudspeaker a Subwoofer and Two to Four Upward-Firing Height Elevation Loudspeakers for Dolby Atmos and DTSX So throughout 2021 I have been saving lots of money on a high-end/performance/quality/fidelity Dolby Atmos home theater with six full range woofer drivers and two side tweeters that bounce sound off walls and ceiling since all three of them not only got very awesome reviews from audio critics and users but are all multidimensional moving surround sound In 2021 I wanted only either a 9.2.4 or a 7.2.4 channel Nakamichi Shockwafe Dolby Atmos and DTSX Home Theater Surround Sound System with Two Big Subwoofers for a total complete Dolby and IMAX 3D Object-Based Multidimensional Moving Movie Theater Cinema Surround Sound On 10/24/2021 I decided to buy a Wired 5.1.2 channel Dolby Atmos Home Theater Moving Surround upward firing loudspeakers two tower floorstanding loudspeakers one center loudspeaker two surround speakers one big 12-inch subwoofer and a lot of speaker wires after they all came to the house between December 2021 and Late January 2022 I gave my old Sony HTZ9F and SAZ9R surround sound Dolby Atmos soundbar system to my twin sister and her boyfriend’s house in early-February 2022 in order to hook it up to their newer LG 55-Inch C1 4K HDR and Dolby Vision Smart Flat Big-Screen OLED TV located in their heavily beamed ceiling Between February and March 2022 while we were hooking the loudspeakers to the receiver and calibrating the Dolby Atmos home theater system in the Spring of 2022, it sounded very very good while watching films and tv shows and on Thanksgiving 2022 the front floorstanding tower loudspeakers are not connected to the receiver so I connected the floorstanding tower loudspeakers to the receiver with the remaining speaker wire and after calibrating all the loudspeakers while watching many high octane films and tv shows plus listening to music all with big sound they all sounded a lot much better cinematic dynamic room filling crystal clear immersive impactful rich detailed realistic bass/treble/midrange-heavy incredible that sounded the same as both either six of the Nakamichi Shockwafe Dolby Atmos and DTSX Wireless Home Theater Surround Soundbar System Series and a real life movie theater with Dolby Atmos In June 2023 that I was truly fully immersed right into the middle of the center of the action I bought and got a newer Denon 2022 7.2 Channel Dolby Atmos and DTSX Home Theater Audio/Video Receiver for under $1,000 - S970H in which it is a huge bestseller, got very awesome reviews from audio critics and users and has all the best new features I really want my new 7-channel Dolby Atmos receiver to have in which my old Onkyo 7 Channel Audio-Video Receiver with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Surround DTS-HD Master-Audio that I owned did not have: DTSX DTS:Neural-X 8K/4K Passthrough/Upscaling Audyssey Room Correction EQ Calibration Multi-HDR with Dolby Vision Multiple Music Streaming Apps via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth got and after both setting my one year old Klipsch 5.1.2 channel loudspeakers speakers to the new Denon Atmos/DTSX Receiver from 2022 and calibrating the loudspeakers watching and enjoying many many high octane films and tv shows plus listening to music sounded a lot much better dynamic immersive impactful awesome room filling richer realistic cinematic detailed punchy crystal clear bass/treble/midrange-heavy than both my old Dolby Atmos receiver from Onkyo and my Sony HTZ9F and SAZ9R 5.1 Channel Dolby Atmos Soundbar System in which it not only sounds the same as either of the Nakamichi Shockwafe Dolby Atmos and DTSX Home Theater Surround Soundbar System Series but also a real movie theater with Dolby Atmos and IMAX 12-Channel Sound in which I am both incredibly immersed and greatly pulled much deeper inside the center of the action for all kinds of films tv shows or music in the way the color graders, editors, special visual effects team, the filmmakers: directors producers writers cinematographers production designers the sound team: engineers/mixers, designers/editors/recordists, the dialogue/adr people the foley people and the music team: composer conductor orchestrator mixer singer/band, producer, arranger, recordists, and editors intended them to watch enjoy and feel them and my 5.1.2 Klipsch+Denon Dolby Atmos/DTSX Premium Home Theater Moving Surround Sound Loudspeaker System sounds just like the Nakamichi Shockwafe Dolby Atmos and DTSX Home Theater Surround Soundbar System Series that I originally wanted to own either one of them
I love it. The thing sounds sooo amazing.
I thought you had a laptop as the tv...i like that soundbar
Sorry this system is garbage. I brought this sound bar due to the high reviews it got. After using it I would say the reviews are way overly positive. Either everyone has very low expectations or they have never heard a quality system. I guess if u are going from an ipod to this this is a great system. But if you have something to compare this system (like Bose) with than there are a lot of shortcomings that does not demand this price. The followings are some of the issues I found with the 7.2.4 system after 2 weeks of usage:
2d audio vs 3d audio
Useless
I get dolby atmos mate on ARC
Awesome.
Very nice review ,makes me wanna buy it now.
Thank you, it does works really good.
sadly this is not Available in india
sorry to hear that
Outstanding functional review- I can tell you have actually used the equipment for your own entertainment.
@@CHGadgetz but does this take away any of the sound quality by hooking up to the tv and not directly to this soundbar? I have Directv.

CH Gadgetz Also due to Dolby Atmos licensing fee.
How can i attach this sound bar system with my projector, kindly made a video for it too.. thanks in advance

@@one2moja1 is no sound bar it's surround system
Nice review. I like the comparisons and the setup points. But doesn't all the speakers negate the pure purpose of a speaker bar?
Not really, the purpose of a sound bar is to substitute for a real home theater system, but what happens is most soundbars fall short of achieving that because they strip away so many of the key factors that are needed to replicate being at the movie theater, so the more speakers you have the better it is for Dolby Atmos to deliver a realistic representation of that experience.
It's definitely closer to HTIB to me, almost like they should start calling these soundbar + especially considering it having 2 subs with 4 additional speakers!...I don't even have 2 subs with my current home theater..lol

What's the power out of those subs
Awesome video. Could you tell us what speaker stands are you using for the small speakers? Also, what do you think of 1 sub in corner behind the HDTV and one behind on the opposite side?
Thank you so much.
They are the Atlantic Adjustable Height Speaker Stands amzn.to/2uJxSXU
Yes, 1 sub at the corner beside the TV and the other sub on the opposite side of the sofa can definitely work its another good layout that works just as well.
you can definitely adjust and tweak the positions in order to find your sweet spot.
Could you show how your set up looks you mentioned wires and things like that thanks
I could do it on a Instagram story, would that work for you?
@@CHGadgetz Sure I'll go follow you on iG now, thanks
What is that orange lamp called at 5:27 ? It looks pretty sick
it is the C by GE Sol Smart Light amzn.to/2P1tNZF
@@CHGadgetz link is broken now.
Which Blu Ray player is the best to combine with Nakamichi ???
I hope somebody answer me...
oppo 203
I am not sure which is the best.
Playstation 5!
Yes
