I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this allready, but the animation for placing a Bead Of Resonance also gets shortened if you place it right after a recital.
This video actually made me instantly better, those combos at the end are so useful to learn. Even though its hard to pull them off, I learned to come up with shorter variants.
Thank you for pointing out the actual distinctions between echo and performance modes Every single video ive seen has called Echo mode support mode or less offensive and it kills me everytime
3:51 I would argue the opposite, if you're whiffing your Earthshaker or you do not know the punish windows for a monster yet, you might want to consider the Bead of Resonance since it is a safer option than Earthshaker as it cannot miss and has a serviceable range granted that you position around the Bead.
I've stared on mastering the HH a few weeks ago and I stumble on this beautiful guide (who's narrator insults people but joke's on him, I'm into that sheet). It is time to test the B E A D
0:24 alright alright I see- that’s a nice argument 𝘣𝘶𝘵 it makes me feel cool as hell- contrary to the cocoon XD. But seriously thanks for this, HH feels super good in this game (I’m new) and it’s great to learn all this about it. I’ll definitely give the bead a try once I unlock it it sounds fantastic! Cheers!
took me like 4 videos to realize we are both german.... my brain didnt even realize the german inputs in training mode together with the english voice.... XD
another point in favor of echo is when using a horn with sound barrier you can throw echo in the middle of a combo as long as you have your red song ready to allow you and your team mates to face tank huge hits that might otherwise end them
Considering that Melodic Slap just gets you stuns quicker but doesn't increase the amount of stuns per hunt Overhead is still taken over it for damage. Earthshaker is also still taken as well the majority of time and it's a shame the bead isn't better. Slide Beat is also preferable just before doing a performance as well since it doesn't rip through sharpness as fast as M-Trio does. Just aim well unlike me sometimes. :D
So, I picked up MH Rise on my PS5 and was super pumped to play HH and I’ve been having an okay time with Performance Mode. After seeing this I’m considering trying out Echo Mode because it looks more my speed. My question is can I choose to use Echo Mode for the whole game solo or will I have to at some point use Performance Mode for a monster?
There is no point in the game where you are forced to use one. Should you have the Sunbreak expansion you can actually switch between performance and echo mode in combat.
Do you know how the rampage skill Maximum Volume interacts with Bead of Resonance ? Does it increase its Attack Boost’s range and/or the Shockwave’s range ?
I don't just want to look cool using a hunting horn as a user from Gen 4 I want to master it just as I did in the past Generations I know those techniques look hard but I'll try my best in at least Master one of them!!😤😁
I want to like horn, but it’s so much of a departure from iceborn that it just feels like a new weapon. Considering how different rise is from world, I understand why it happened this way… but I still cry to myself and log into world when I really want old horn again.
The only bad thing about the new horn is the little amount of songs. In every single other aspect the Rise Hunting Horn is superior. HH has never felt better!
@@Vilithos I’m happy that people like it. I would personally prefer the next iteration take good aspects of new horn (new combo chains, options for individual attacks, positional based traps like bead, etc) and add back in the positional moment to moment gameplay, better song lists, the recital mechanic, flourishes, and stabs and I’d be pretty happy.
Not rly looking for the "secrets" I just wanna play without sounding like a middle school band that just formed up, play exactly as what you'd expect and was doomed to disappear into literal nothing before the band received their highschool diplomas and ventured off to never communicate with each other ever again. Sort of like I learned about greatsword's scroll swapping, countering, and using explody barrels to instantly pull off True Charged Slash with little time to build and ready up.
So for Melodic Slap does the kick up from letting the move finish its animation stronger/have more stun than using Kick Up after the 3rd hit in the attack?
Melodic Slap has 3 Animation Stages, let's split them so you see the difference: Animation1 > Animation2 > Red Note Animation1 > Animation2 > Animation3 => Ending with Melodic Slap's third Animation deals far more Stun-Damage than canceling MS with a Red Note. => Ending MS with a Red Note is great for certain Combos and deals more Damage than a full MS-Animation Cycle, also far less Stun-Damage.
Ich finde immer mehr Deutsche, die englischen MH Content machen, interessant, vor allem, weil man bei dir nicht den klassischen deutschen Akzent raushört.
Somewhat wrong actually. It takes hitzones into account. Land the first hit on a bad zone and you're only doing half the damage. Test that on the training dummy. Earthshaker it's back.
That was exceptionally entertaining. "Good luck pulling those off in an actual fight..." pretty much sums up every weapon combo in this game.

Tbh probably the most informative HH video I've seen for rise
That earthshaker is great for mounting damage though. Can mount any monster anytime to bring to a fight.
this, i dont use palamute so one earthshaker to get a mount and run to the target

For some reason I always come back to your comment just because of the your side comment of me insulting people. Thank you, don't get B E A D up!
Great Video! A very good summary for the hunting horn.
That’s hilarious that the bead works on the other side of the map... lol

Can you do a build video on the hunting horn?
Thanks for the great vid. I'm one of those who can rarely land earthshaker on the monster's head.. LoL
Thanks for the guide. I adapted some of your stuff to my playstyle 👍🏻

Nice piece of opinion
That is some genuinely unique and good information.
The cocoon is amazing if you know how to use it, its a ling range amp

Great video and some food for thoughts
Best HH Guide den ich bisher gesehen habe.
please God make more content like this
Nice clip, needs more attention
I do prefer Bead of Resonance as long gives the team attack and give double power to my healing songs
the bead gives us ATK up or we have have to to have ATK up in our melody

Oddly specific...
@@Vilithos idk I just grabbed that out of the air. If that actually was someone, that sounds like a sad cliche life they had
@@ItsDaKoolaidDude This might be a great story! The Hunter Band which traveled around all lands, an epic drama WITH monsters

I miss more earthshakers than I miss my dad

i would one a guide for hbg n lbg
Earth shaker does flat damage no matter where you hit the monster so aiming for the head ONLY matters for more stun. Nice try though

@@bio3831 Earthshaker is still the one you should be taking. It's damage is too great to replace.
