My sister had this album. The drummer always looked like he was enjoying himself. The band always looked & played cool music. I recon they along with Skyhooks were two legendary Aussie bands through that mid/late 70's period.
I really liked Clive and I was impressed with his solo single ‘I realise’ after he left.I don’t think he was comfortable with the ‘pop’ sound of the band. And yes he looks and sounds like he could be a young Ritchie Blackmore right down to the Fender guitar.
Brilliant Aussie band who deserved to be bigger worldwide they were way ahead of their time! Love sherbet grew up with their music and still sounds just as good today, long live sherbet!

Sherbert's Life is For Living album still stands up today..... 50 years later.
I remember seeing Sherbert at a Venue called Rock Village near Kings Cross ,around 1976
Most don’t really know how good this band really were. Incredible musicians, very British influenced, with our classic Australian individuality
RIP Clive Shakespeare.
This is awesome. I want to go back. Today's 'music' sucks big time.
Clive Shakespeare.looking a tad Richie Blackmore! (R.I.P)
Is this from the and the crowd went wild dvd?
The lead guitarist looks like a young Ritchie Blackmore.
That first song/track they have a very Purple flavour I think!
