I can totally see why this is a more mass appealing Belstaff jacket because most people do buy Belstaff for that feeling of quality and for the name. However, for me, the nylon version is much more suited. I had not found a truly lightweight mesh jacket that doesn't feel nasty to wear other than the old Temple. I bought it for the hottest summer days so waxed cotton would not be the best idea. I'm glad I bought a nylon Temple before it was too late.
Wouldn't the original, lighter nylon version be somewhat more ventilated in summer simply due to the fact that waxed cotton is heavier and thicker? Having a water resistant base for a ventilated jacket feels somehow unnecesarry, since you are not buying it for the waterproofing, but for the ventilation.

Nice olive shirt stands out. Something refreshing in your styling
Why would anyone buy a Belstaff thats NOT wax cotton? Its what they do and do best.
A nice summer peace and they have down away with that awkward neck buckle.
