That clip in the series where he breaks the tape in half and the brother drops to the floor screaming is hands down the funniest thing I had seen as a child.
I’m laughed so bad , in a way remembered my dad and thought “that’s so sad” no wonder we are comedians 🤷♀️ I’m not doing stand up yet but I’m writing. Way better than therapy. Had to do it for almost 2 years and all we did was talk about movies 🍿 and shows 🙄😵💫🥰🙏🖖🇵🇷
Normal families: Eau mai gawd, we got to help FAHTAH!!! The Titus Family: *Scrambles like a nuclear power plant crew during a meltdown* GET A TAAAAAAAAAPE!!!
I feel like we grew up in the same family. My father used to drive the dynamite truck for his job...and after work. He'd come home late at night, park that truck in the driveway, fall out of the cab and crawl into the house. He was never without a beer, or glass of whiskey in his hand. Meanest drunk I ever knew, but that doesn't mean we never had a few good laughs at his expense. My mother could be downright diabolical....crazy, but diabolical.
I sold dollar joints at my prom 2 dollars if in Strawberry Zig zag papers. I refused to go to the actual Prom I just helped the others by Being the Man with...
I had a home life similar to his it's just my father had no redeemable qualities. He's been dead for 20 years and the only one that thinks of him fondly is my mother
“GET ME A TAPE! TITUS! GET ME A TAPE!”
That is 100% what my family would do. 😂
Same. We love each other but we aren't above humiliation and blackmail
Ever since the first time I saw this years ago, its still my favorite!😂

Likeability is huge Titus always had it in droves, and damn funny timing too.
He makes a really difficult family situation funny, relatable and really entertaining. Good job!
Comedy = tragedy + time

I remember watching his TV show when I was in high school, constantly thinking "This looks familiar. You sure nobody is profiting from recording us?"
Too good.
