In 2012 I was going through some shit, and things were really bad, to the point that I was thinking about hurting myself. I found a copy of this show when this was all happening. I laughed so hard, and at times cried, but it struck a nerve with me. So much so, that I went to a mental health care facility. I got the help I needed. Found out I had some issues that needed to be taken care of, with both medication and counseling. I watched the show so many times during that period, I'm shocked I didn't wear the DVD out. So, let me just say, you helped me when I needed it most. 10 years later and I'm doing much better, I still take my meds, and I have no urges to hurt myself.

I think what really hit me with this bit is how he instantly, convincingly morphs into his teenage self and that of his friends. It's damn near eerie how he can flip that switch.
As someone who has tripped and fallen into a fire, I can totally relate. They gave me a shot of fentanyl in my stomach and it didn't make a difference. Burn pain is on a whole nutha' level.
Your shows always resonated with me. This clip took me down memory lane and I've seen this special on TV when I was a kid and watching it now gave me the laugh I really needed tonight
I fell out of an avocado tree. Whacked my head on a couple of branches on the way down. My dad, THE DOCTOR, said "He's fine, he'll sleep it off". I had a massive concussion. I don't remember much of 4th grade....
At a camp out I decided to jump over the fire. As I was airborne over fire the flames suddenly rose extremely high. I wasn’t injured but the hair on my right arm and most of hair on head disappeared into smoke and ash. I was so cool
Mine was when my favorite aunt was visiting, and I was stuck in the basement doing homework. Knew she would leave before it was done and hadn't seen her in a year. My dad stood in the way at the bottom of the stairs and refused to let me go up, but I had done 2 years of wrestling at school, and fire-man carried him to the bottom step, set him down like a baby and told him calmly I would be right back. I never got the thin belt on the bare ass after that, only grounded and had computer time taken away.
I've seen this so many times , I can't even give you a number...It's always funny...Got to say though , ,the first time I saw it , i was thinking , hope this guy doesn't do anything stupid before he puts out a couple more sets...Never saw anyone up to that point take some truly messed up stuff and make you laugh ..I got to see the birth of a genius....Nice...
Mach 1 mustang with 429 Cobra Jet and high AF, sounds like standard Gen X fun to me, my mustang had a Boss 302, Holley 650 dbl pump, Crane high lift cam and roller rockers and Edlebrock high performance intake manifold. Why? Because that was our social media network. When Bruce Springsteen sang about "sprung from cages on highway 9 and suicide machines" in Born to Run he was talking about us. Imagine that your 16 years old, you and friends are out late racing and somebody brought a canary yellow 1971 Vega with chevy 454 stuffed under the hood, doing wheelstands off the starting line, now we're talking fun.
It was almost the same with me and my dad. We'd be getting ready to kill each other one day, and then the next day I'd go "Spurs are on, wanna watch?" "Yeah, sure" like nothing happened.
Day? Hell me and my old man threw hammers at each other from 7am till 5pm ...get in truck "what ya wanna eat? Idk ole man what u think?" 6 days a week 15 years 😂 ...im him 😢
You and me would get along just fine some of things you talk my parents did . Did your dad take the ladder when you shoving the roof of the garage. Then told to jump in the soft snow ? Like grandma it though was funny
lol I pretty much stopped drinkin when I was 17, too. But that's partly because I got a severe TBI after my friend lost control of his car and ripped in half (we hadn't been drinking) and I ended up in the hospital for close to a year (he's fine. He did get help which saved my life)
Nah, Rawdog. We upload new content every week; New armageddon updates, new podcasts, and new podcast clips. Before this past week there were only a few specials clips available, for people who can't or don't have time to watch the entire specials. We're fixing that now. Expect clips from ALL 9 specials to show up. Cool? Cool.

That is a great story. Thank you for sharing :)
I’m happy for you, proud too!!
I have this album, but I never saw the special, the pantomime and the facial expressions make this so much better!!
His TV series Titus was heavily based off of this comedy album as well. This one is iconic.

@@ewoodley82 Wow. Didn’t know it was the other way. Thanks for letting me know. I actually watched it on his channel. Binge watching all his specials.
He had the whole special on RUclips.
The bonfire story is such a gem, all these years later I never get tired of it.

Fentanyl doesn't numb nerve pain, your doctor is a sadistic ahole. Don't see them again.
He probably got lucky and his burns didn't go as deep so the pain killers still worked.
Never tire of the bonfire story. Lol
😂😂 "that's gonna hurt tomorrow" describes most of my misspent youth😂😂😂😂

I just realized that I first saw this special when I was 16 yrs old. 18yrs later this is still hilarious
Oh damn it's been that long? I think i was around the same age lol
My favorite comedian right now and I love his podcast
Lewis Black's Rantcasts are awesome too
Saw him live in Portland when he was here. Great show. If you get a chance to see him live, do it. I promise you won't be disappointed.
Agree 100% - Along with Ben Bailey
One of my favorite stories ever!!
I fell out of an avocado tree. Whacked my head on a couple of branches on the way down.
My dad, THE DOCTOR, said "He's fine, he'll sleep it off".
I had a massive concussion. I don't remember much of 4th grade....
I still use "my hair is east" whenever I'm having a bad hair day lol
I call it the *"JFK assassination hairdo".*
Why this man does not have any voice acting credits to his name, ill never understand! I watch the shit outta anything with him.
He was in Killer Klowns from Outer Space.
@@RictusHolloweye Oh crap, now I have to go watch that again.
A hard lesson but one well learned. 🌀
Imo, his best stand up
I scream-ed....what would you do??
Favorite part 💀💀
takes about 5 weeks for eyebrows to grow back.

He said and an alligator shirt I love you man
Duct tape fixes everything!🤣😂🤣✌️
I screamed what would you do...
Anybody have a "gone 1 step beyond getting my ass kicked" moment?
3 times 😅

Santa Cruz? Bonfire party on the beach. I think I partied with this guy.
🤣🤣😅
At least he *had* friends. I didn't.
My ex wife was the girl he was chasing at bonfire.
We smoked weed together!!!
I swear to god we're twins.

OMFG! I went to RLS and was born in 1964. We are the same age!!! He was the asshole who kept jumping over the bonfires.
Way to block the first three punches with your face!
It's funny but short of all shit we did and got away with
Even thou I've heard this bit before it still makes me laugh. 🤣
lol good thing I kicked mine out of my life at 12

When my now Ex husband ask me for a divorce on Mother day he gave me back my gun (loaded) 22 caliber pistol, yes He was alive when I left!
I'm a very pretty man wearing white pants....
Good to see you’re recycling the old material 🤪
"6am in the morning"
Did he just say six in the morning in the morning?
For an intelligent guy, that was pretty stupid.
Otherwise, great comedian!
That's an entirely reasonable hour assessment for still high, drunk and passed out in surf... 😂😂😂😂😂
so... just reuploading all your content? cool.
He's on tour recording a new special right now.
