Gotta give you a warm and fuzzy when all the equipment on the site is paid for.If it smokes a little it just cuts down on the skeeters and no see ums.🍻
That is a job the homeowner can be happy with. The road higher than the ditches, culverts to divert water to avoid the ditches being overwhelmed, reshaping and reinforcing the ditches to handle the water flow, and a solid road. Another benefit to the millings is it will provide fairly good traction in the wintertime. Oklahoma loves recycling millings. They scrape a road/highway, process the millings by mixing fresh asphalt, then relay it to a smooth finish. They always have extra, so they will store it and/or take it to another site and continue the mix and lay it down. It's pretty cost effective. The only time it isn't cost effective is when they straight lay it thin on old concrete or asphalt without prepping the surface. Kind of a band aid repave until they can do a proper repave job. But they tend to just leave it for a few years, and it slowly gets eroded off by traffic and never actually do anything to have a proper repave done. Yep, some counties, townships, and cities are lazy (or corrupt) like that. 🙄🙄
Hello all have a great day, Last of the good weather in our area they say,not ready for the cold and snow but its that time of year! Enjoy the show looking good😀😀😀
Dam Nice job Mike! I was tickled that the millings made it that far up, it couldn't have worked out any better. The rain you got helped your thought process and proved you had it right. Keep up the good work guy's.
From start to finish there is not a dull moment in your work "Great", and the professionalism that you always show. Thanks Mike, Aaron, and Matt. The new machine looks and sounds great. God Bless and Stay Safe.
Guys, you're doing a better job than an Alabama highway contractor would do! They just spread & go leaving the bumps & humps even with fresh asphalt & spreaders. Yep, good job.
Nice job, and for MBTS, I can say I've never gotten distracted and left a tractor running until it ran out of fuel and then spent an hour getting it re-started. Never within the last couple of weeks, anyway.🤪
I bought 140+ loads of millings to do my new barn and driveway with. I couldn’t be happier with them and they were a quarter of the price of abc or washed stone. Drive came out beautifully
Another great job. Have the road higher than the ditches, and the asphalt millings makes a great topping for driveway. Aaron did a great job spreading the millings with Bubba Dump. Thanks for the video
Mike another good video, the only thing that I would have done is sprayed down the asphalt with Kerosene and rolled it in , the Sun would have heated the kerosene and bonded it all together, keep them coming
Wow, great video and great job! I've tried to find millings in my area, to no avail. I'd like to try'm on my farm roads. Thanks; Mike, Aaron and Matt. PS: It was nice watching Matt quote the job and now seeing the job thru completion! Have a good one, Lee.
I am amazed how often Buba-Dump was a major player in the recent videos. Probably paid for itself many times over by now. A super investment. Great video. 👍🇨🇦
That asphalt looks good , Your customer should be s very pleased and recommend you to anyone. FYI I made a gravity screen with 1.5 in screen and I screen the millings to separate the base size materials from the top coat . It grads out to a 53 stone gradation . works great for many others products. I clean up top soil as well with it
Mike, you certainly have a nice lineup of machinery and I think one of the best things you ever did was to buy and fix up Bubba Dump. Without a doubt, it has made your life better. Thanks for taking us along! J.R.
Yuppers, that's gotta be one slap happy property owner with a new professionally refurbished driveway that's been done right. It's gonna outlast their lifetime with only occasional touch ups needed of winter weather causes problems. As far as I know southern Indiana doesn't get a whole lotta heavy snowfalls that cause pot holes. Hats off to Mike and Arron for a job well done. Of course Man Behind The Sillyness Scene will tell us it's his supervision that accomplished it.
*TAILGATING with no TAILGATE* "MBTS" performs very well no matter what he does! MIKE, as you drove the GRADER attachment around the 1st time gave a good look at *ALL* the Equipment you have/need to get these jobs done and the expertise of the three of you getting er done! HYUNDAI looks like FUN! Looks like a HIWAY!
It's always a good day when you get a new toy to play with, especially so when it does exactly what you want. For a small machine it looks roomy on the inside, if your ever short of work you can always hire out Aaron as a stone layer, he did a lot better with Bubba Dump than I've seen with guys using tippers, mind you you'd have to fit a back door on the bed. 👍🤗
Great video as always DP. Have learned alot about excavating from your channel that's helped me tremendously in the work I do. So I honestly appreciate all the work you guys do to give us these videos every week that are both entertaining and educational.
Being an 3cx operator here in Northern Ireland I'm quite impressed with the pushing power at 26:10 busting through the pile of millings piled up there. That just might be a taco replacement full stop. We don't have one on our sites here. The manager has looked at yes, might even show him your video and Chris's video as well. They are absolutely quite the machine. The first pile Arron put out there after the few days later proves just how much better the Hyundai would be over the taco......listen to it fail pushing a bucket into it.
We all think the world of Aaron, but let's be honest here! lol. Even Mike mentioned that one of his dumps was 'less than ideal....' but he'd make it work! True, it would be challenging, but I bet it could be better if there was a cam in the back.
@@johnF1958 I used quotation marks because I’ve had to deal with the mess those Mulzer Crushed Stone drivers left behind. I’ve also spread my share over the years before I gave up driving trucks. It ain’t rocket surgery! Lol
Your soil conditioner works great for what your trying to do. I have done that for years and I use my all the time. Brakes up all the chunks and lays it out smooth.
Well another fine fix for a costumer in need of some good old fashioned thinking and good thoughts i do believe this is going to work well you two are steady hard working men and it seems to you guys have fun making the project look better than it has ever been nicely done DP an MBTS you guys ACE it 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
Hello Mike, wonderful video series and the property owner must be very happy to have finally picked the right contractor! Matt is a very careful estimator so I'd guess everyone will be happy. The new Hyundai is definitely not comparable, in any way to the Case Minotaur DL550 you had, but probably much less $ to purchase. The average contractor might not be able to afford the Case Minotaur but you aren't normal so could buy 2 and lease 1 to Kleeman. The videos with you and Aaron are lot's of fun, so Thank you. Cheers from Canada.
And third, you put spread Kelsey on it. After before it rains and the kelsium Heats it up. And bonds it together, that's what we do. Appear in Maine without a reclaim we make in cell.
After having that case with steel track its hard to compare seeing it push a backet fill of millons up hill on loose millions is impressive Aaron I worked on a bridge job and the no fees were so bad they would carry you away we used Avon skin so soft on our legs arms inc it work to. Ps we were the best smelling crew in the job lol
Nice machine, it does seem it needs a little wider bucket, I've been told having a bucket a couple inches wider on both sides of a track machine really helps keep debris out of your tracks, of coarse iam sure you are well aware of this 😁, great job as always guys, I love the fact y'all keep the content coming.......iam never bored watching you guys work, and always learn something.....thank you sir.
Good Friday morning. That’s. A great looking and powerful machine. Happy for you to demo a new piece of equipment. Hyundai seems to be a great partner. Another great job by DP and MBTS. Thanks again!!! The new skid steer is a far cry from the Kubota you had!
Geez Mike it looks like highway coming down out of that hill. I doubt your home owner will have anymore trouble with their road. Nicely done it looks fantastic.
I found myself yelling UP! UP! UP! GO! GO! GO!🤣Having to plow through those bigger piles looked rough. A tail gate on Bubba Dump is looking more needed. Nice work though.
He's definitely getting better and faster and I think he's enjoying the fact that he's not on just one machine so he's getting a variety of different things
asphalt millings is what I need, I did my 250 foot drive in SC. with millings back in 02. and it still looks pretty good. sold the property 15 yrs ago. now I need to find some more to do my 100 ft drive out to my barn. but, they are hard to get up here in ohio
After watching you and Arran work on the road, and seeing the finished project. I just want to comment on how much thought and care I see going into all your jobs as if you were working on your own place. Never lose that. Keep the projects coming👍😃

DP, your eyeball serves you well, you see every slope and pitch. Others have no clue what you are looking at. You are number one, no competition.
Big shout out to MBTS for his excellent camera work! Thanks MBTS! Much love from Henderson Ga

That steep ass drive turned out nice
It would suck if they have snow. :)

Job turned out awesome Mike and Arron keep up the great work.
It’s funny Aaron and the roller are described the same way🤣🤣🤣
Case always keeps you in at least one new piece of equipment and that has to be nice running multiple jobs.
Another great job. Have the road higher than the ditches, and the asphalt millings makes a great topping for driveway. Aaron did a great job spreading the millings with Bubba Dump. Thanks for the video
Enjoy your video Mike and Aaron , very good one love it .
If this drive holds up like yours the customer will be pleased. Good looking finish.
Evening, another great video.
From kiwi land.
The asphalt cowboys!
Well thanks for showing the whole project it came out awesome sure great to see MBTS working with you a lot lately great watch as always 👍👋🇨🇦

.sounds like there is a herd of Elk in the area when you back Bubba Dump up.
... and the three Amigos buttoned up the project and rode off into the Sunset ... well ... cloud-set, but anyways.... All the best you three!!
Excellent work looking like a paved road 👍

Jerry would be waiting on both of you. Git ur dun😅
You are all getting quite good at this type of work🤣🤣
The millings looked like dirt, then they would run like water outta bubba. You got it done either way. And had fun and laughed along the way.
I ran a 4/1 bucket for over 20 years, what a tool and great option once mastered you can perform more single person jobs.

Bubba Dump has got to be the most versatile piece of equipment you've got. Dump truck, compactor, spreader, and air-conditioned chariot for Aaron.
After seeing how it broke up you def could have spread it with the Mack . But it went in pretty good with bubba
No way would wast my time with the Mack on this
Aaron is doing a better job spreading with Bubba than the “real drivers” did on the campground job!!!
And, with no tailgate to limit the flow of material.
We all think the world of Aaron, but let's be honest here! lol. Even Mike mentioned that one of his dumps was 'less than ideal....' but he'd make it work! True, it would be challenging, but I bet it could be better if there was a cam in the back.

Good video and good explanations on objectives and techniques.
👍👍👍💙💛❤Absolut MINUNATA LUCRARE. MIKE ,Aaron , NOTA 10 + .👍👍👍🍀🍀
The hi speed grader footage was awesome. Nice job guys
Love them millings heat compaction repeat. Will make them as hard as it was laid with a paver
