Tough spot to ensure that water run off doesn't destroy the road. Admire your decision to consult with MBTS on the project Dirt Perfect - his confidence, ability and knowledge are gradually emerging as a valuable co-worker. Loved the rookie gravel trucker - LOL. Have a great day all.
I am glad you guys do what I can't anymore. In the old days I was hard and lean and thought I was superman. Was a Marine, Truck driver, Mechanic. I felt unstoppable. Then I got old. Thanks to you I can be right up there with you all and I am happy. Something satisfying seeing the jobs come to a close Thanks for sharing.
Now that I’m in the same boat as you , when people ask me what I’m doing these days, I just say I’m working for Mike Simon and his crew as a remote analyst and supervisor !!!
The older I get, the better I was. I was talking to a older gentleman at Menards the other day, he said getting old is not for wimps, I have to agree. Nice job guys.
I am 72 I was in the same business as you from 18 to 65 I echo the praise that this man has because When I watch dirt perfect it's like I'm back at work again Thank you all
For first 20 minutes I was sure there is glitch in Matrix and I'm heaving Deja Vue... 😂 until I realized Mr.Milenial quoted this job in his chanell!!! 😅
Good morning. I have realized how lucky you guys are for having such a wonderful working friendship. Aaron is your right and you are Aaron’s left hand. You do good work together and have fun doing it. Thanks again the drive looks great
When DP said that driver was a rookie, it reminded me of a time that I had the chains to tight and the box going up to fast. yup, 60 years ago, that was my first wheely with a 55 ford dump truck. Of course, the drag line operator had to see it.
You two at the start are like Abbott and Costello in Down is Up. You'll have to listen to it sometime! Together you two somehow manage to do great work and have a ton of fun doing it.
Reminds me of Oregon department of forestry. Rules on water bars and/or Calvert run offs. 5% grade is one water bar every 400 feet. Greater then 19% grade is every 50 feet.
Man, watching those guys spread rock makes me thankful for the guys that we have here! We have two drivers that once they spread you never have to touch it after.
Good Lord that's looking Nice! Can't wait to see it with the millings all done. I have a Nephew that Lives deep into Kentucky that could use your magic touch on his driveway, it's a Doozy....lol. Keep up the good work guy's, I love the content you deliver Mike.
Good morning Mike and Aaron. Another great job well done. Mike , have you ever ran a motor grader? Aaron, You are The master when it comes to running the truck and compactor. I have never seen two people work so well together. God Bless and Stay Safe.
Howdy Mr. Dirt, 2 goofy big kids playing in the gravel!! The driveway looks 100% better - great job! The millings will be icing on the 'cake'!! Thumbs up! Stay safe! Jim
I’d say Aaron is getting good at tight quarters maneuvering with Bubba Dump around obstacles and ‘Back’em on up’ between the trees…..lol.😂 This should be another happy customer ending. Great Job.
You know, every time I see you digging a ditch, I cant help but think that it is so shallow. I live in Canada. Most typical roadside ditches ditch around here is deep enough to lose a car in it. They need to be that deep. The shallowest ditch that you'll find is usually at least 2 foot deep and that's usually not enough. During winter, snow fills most ditches, and between snow melt and rainfall, shallow ditches just can't cope. It is absolutely crazy just how much water can run through our ditches during late winter / spring. Creeks that flow intermittently during summer quickly transform into raging torrents. Heck, on a street near where I live, there's a low spot that has 10 grates on a 50 meter stretch of street to intercept all of the water that ends up there.
Aron was right on Bubba Dump’s bonnet/hood of the colour yellow Mike and the Bubba Dump name would have popped on the front grill too 😉The windows were nice and clean this morning though 😂 Thanks guys for another great video guys👏👏👏👏🍺🍺😊
Mike as usual , great camera views and angles ! Almost like you've done this before. I think draining across the drive/road is a great idea !! To bad other contractors didn't do that
That homeowner was smart calling in the Dirt Perfect crew to fix that SNAFUed road job. Once the top coat of trailings are down, graded and rolled in by Master roller Arron it'll be another professionally done Dirt Perfect job. I really like watching Chris Letsdig18 and Mike working a grader. It's awesome how they can literally sculpt dirt, gravel and top coats into the exact shape they want it to be. Another job I can't wait to see the finished look.
like over here in Scotland some think they can some say they can and there 's the ones who can another great piece of work with ideas bounced of both of you. Andrew Camarata built a triangle shaped ditcher with MBTS welding skills, ie the tiler, it would be no bother to him with a wee bit help from you
Just thinking the rucksrake would have cleaned up a lot more of the rip rap off the slopes. Love the vids, your always trying something new or different to make them more entertaining
I'm going over to that murky site Aaron was talking about and buy some of your murch. Good video, creative camera angles, and as usual, thank-you MBTS.👍
You guys have many talents...going in and making it right after others have failed... Awesome job...looking forward to seeing the final millings going down and this project getting wrapped up.😎🇺🇸🛻🚜🔧😇🙏😊
MBhTS is an amazing camera man, and is, well you know, great at everything else he does! It’s nice to have versatile and reliable help and you have a couple for sure!
A-Aron done messed up! 🤣🤣🤣 Merch is short for Merchandise, Merk is short for killing on RUclips so you don’t get in trouble! 🤣🤣🤣 Ole’ A-Aron has a hoot! Like I say in almost every comment I leave on this channel the back and forth between you two is hilarious! All in good fun!
The problem with all your road building/driveways as your grading it an trying to compact it. Id say your not getting 100% compaction. Your the only contractor i see that dont have a water tanker truck with a pipe across the back full of holes to water down the road base and graval before each compacting. Semi dry dont compact well then when it rains buckets the water gets down under and make for problems. Never mind the wheel tracks from trafic when it wet make for 2 nice water run ways. This is why i have learned over the years it far cheaper for me to rent all the eqipment i need for a job that i dont have. No contractor has ever done what i have instructed and ends in a fail on every job i contracted out. At least you have one good thing going. You were smart enought over the other contractors to put a couple pipes in to off load the heavy water at 2 set points. But i cant say for sure do to video not showing grade well but you can get a good idea its a very long steep windinf hill and there 2 more places i would have put pipes in on the way down to cut down on the raging river of water headed down to unload.
I may have to agree with Aaron, with a big rain, water don't like to turn, it will build up on the road be for it turns to go down the hill, BUT I have been wrong before, can't wait to see the finished job. 👍👍

This locate on that line reminds me of the first lesson I learned when I started running equipment and that was cya
It looks good. you can tell it has more crown to the road. I'm glad you listened to MBTS 😂 thanks for the video
The grader attachment did a nice job, not sure why the first two attempts couldn't get it done but it now looks fantastic. Nicely done guys.
Would be nice to see what it looks like during a rainstorm. Would like to see how the water runs down the hill and how well it behaves.
This one NYAM looked at months ago. Yay finally get to see the job in progress.
From kiwi land.
Cheers Aaron, it is much appreciated.
Good job as always!!
I knew he was running out of breath. Great shot MBTS.
For first 20 minutes I was sure there is glitch in Matrix and I'm heaving Deja Vue... 😂 until I realized Mr.Milenial quoted this job in his chanell!!! 😅
I was thinking the same thing, DP is running reruns😂

Just loving Bubba Dump more and more...
That grader attachment is pretty slick.
finished strong guys, job well done, gonna get another coffee n head over to cnc
Where I'm from we tend to do a crownditch on the hillside, wich is basically a really deep and wide ditch just to manage snow and rain.
You know, every time I see you digging a ditch, I cant help but think that it is so shallow. I live in Canada. Most typical roadside ditches ditch around here is deep enough to lose a car in it. As always good job! Arron has come a long ways!
Blade CAM speaks to my childhood TONKA soul!
Mike as usual , great camera views and angles ! Almost like you've done this before. I think draining across the drive/road is a great idea !! To bad other contractors didn't do that
Possibly, they didn't have to, or didn't want to, deal with the utilities. That fiber-optic cable is EXPENSIVE if damaged in any way.
There is Sooo many ways to deal with that !! Not a good excuse !! @@surlyogre1476
Looks good guy's well done
This is a job Captain Kleeman and his artistic dry well making skill would be need. :) Wild camera angle. :) Thank you and have a great week.
Great job Araron

Mike and Aaron another great job! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Great job Guys ❤ it all looks fantastic ❤😊
Don't you love it when a plan comes together. The pipe is in the right position to catch the water coming down the road. Good job guys.
like over here in Scotland some think they can some say they can and there 's the ones who can another great piece of work with ideas bounced of both of you. Andrew Camarata built a triangle shaped ditcher with MBTS welding skills, ie the tiler, it would be no bother to him with a wee bit help from you
I've always installed foil locator straps no matter if it was electrical, water lines, or gas. Makes it easier for the next contractor...😊
Out here on the left coast many will dump a bunch of chalk over the buried cable or pipe. As you dig you find it first.
Great job 👏
Arron good job on the running you do for the shot
All the line boring done on the 120 seems to be lasting well still goodntight
Good job Mike and at the end or the beginnig of pipe put some biger stone .
Just thinking the rucksrake would have cleaned up a lot more of the rip rap off the slopes. Love the vids, your always trying something new or different to make them more entertaining
ahh this is the one that NYM did the walk through bid / review on awesome
Yup
Looking great and again thanks Aaron for running up the hill
That’s quite the driveway. Wouldn’t want that in the winter even if it’s just a Southern Indiana winter. 😉
Great job of capturing Aaron taking a leak in the woods @ 22:12 lol
Awesome video thanks for sharing love what y’all do.
MBS ❤ excellent video skills. Once again, you two are always good to make me smile and chuckle. Great job!

Another "WUNDERBAR" virtual / vicarious experience.
Looking forward to your next video
Peace.
Thr road being higher than the ditch is a big plus. Nice job guys
Nice work guys. Handling run off on a hill is not as easy as one might imagine. Thanks for sharing.
Interesting one for sure, lots of equipment on this site!! First phase looks great. Great job Mike and Aaron 💪👍🇺🇸
What do you mean Buba is not worth as much, he's priceless!!!
The problem with all your road building/driveways as your grading it an trying to compact it. Id say your not getting 100% compaction. Said this before and i will say it again, The impossible we do immediately, miracles take a little longer. Your videos set the standard, 👍👌💥
I may have to agree with Aaron, with a big rain, water don't like to turn, it will build up on the road be for it turns to go down the hill, BUT I have been wrong before, can't wait to see the finished job. 👍👍
It's nice to see the 120 back out stretching her legs. She's still is running as smooth as a babies behind .
Great job❤
