I feel like I can say this now,,,I started watching your "Driving to the west" series prior to this one, a few years ago as I was in my first stage of recovery from Alcohol and drugs. Those videos gave me a huge sense of relief and peace. Today I am much better and I go on plenty of road trip adventures of my own, which is something that I never even considered in my sick days. I'm on an adventure right now as I type this of Texas hill country. Thanks for the peace and relief that your content provides.
Glad you're doing well Jason God bless you my friend
Congratulations on your recovery. I could definitely see how these videos would help. So calming, relaxing and peaceful. Hopefully all the videos continue to help, and you continue your journey. Great job, and keep it up.
Best way to take your mind / spirit away from that what brings you pain and suffering. His videos helped me too.
Jason have you visited the cross garden I call it In Kerrville, Texas. It’s right on I 10. I find that there is a spirit of God and peace there. You may of already been there.
@@Dennis-vr1rij😂😅😅😅🎉
Robert, my daughter and I started watching you during Pandemic... we couldn't get out but we went EVERYWHERE thanks to you! We're still watching and still singing your "riding in my RV" theme song. We adore you and your videos... especially the long ones! Please keep them coming❤
In a world of shorts, be long. Be Robert. Love these long videos!
I lived in USA for 10+ Years and came back to India. But your 4 hours long Video having such magnificent impact on my mind that I started feeling that I badly missing those long Road Trips. Thanks, wonderful work!
Never been to America but i love it. You are happy folks to live in such a great country.
I ❤ watching your videos. They are entertaining and educational. Listening to your voice makes me feel calm.
Wow 4 hours. Long movies like this was how I started to watch your channel. Love em.
Very cool Robert,
Been a Texan all my life. Left Amarillo 45 years ago. Live in north Idaho now but still have family all over Texas. I visit quite often. I absolutely enjoy every vid you post. I have traveled along most every road you have and remember it vividly. You keep on keepin on brother. We live in Sagle Idaho and if your journey brings you this way we have accommodations for you you to stay until your ready to move on. Stay on your journey brother. Lots of this big earth to see yet. Enjoy life my friend.
It's here. I thank God for keeping me here just to witness it. Thank you Robert.
Hey there Robert. I just finished watching your nearly 4 hour video. Excellent work. Started watching last night, and finished the last hour this morning. The way you shoot and edit puts the viewer right there with you. I hope you and Ily are back to full strength very soon. Big shout out to Ily for getting you both home. Looking foward to your live event tonight. #safeTravels
Great compilation wish you and your wife prompt recovery
“Driving to the West” are my favorite episodes!! So much so, than the one from a few years ago inspired me to do a cross country round trip in 2021! 😄
And I can feel the disappointment in your voice at the end of this one. I had an ankle injury 4 months ago but the good news is that it heals! And nothing will stop us from hitting the road again 👍
Robert, I absolutely love watching your videos, such wonderful & peaceful videos. 😊❤👍
Your videos are always entertaining, educational, and fabulous!
Your music is beautiful. Just put into the video at the perfect times. Also your music does not cover your voice up in what you are saying! Beautiful scenery also. We love your videos! Doris & Doug from Chattanooga Tennessee!
Robert love your videos best on the planet camping and sorry for you accident I know as tuff as you and your wife are you'll be just fine ....please keep them videos coming my friend
Take care of yourselves Robert and Ily. Hope you both heal quickly.
Hi Robert, a year ago i decided to go down the stairs on my head. I thought i just sprained my ankle but after 4 days the pain wasnt any better. It turns out i broke the bone under my ankle. I was in a boot for 3 months! Feel better Robert and Illy. ❤
I live in Atlanta and you’ve seen way more of it than I have. Btw, I really like these long play videos
Amazing that you put the full video on for a non stop watch... Thanks Mr. Robert 👍👍👍
Hi Robert and Lily. Love and Follow all your videos. Keep them coming ❤
Thanks Robert I've never been to USA. I always watch your channel may God bless you and your family. The USA is a beautiful country hopefully one day I'll travel there.
Robert. My wife and I want to thank you. We’ve enjoyed your brilliantly immersive videos for years now. This one struct me. You drove by my office in the first seconds of your traveling into Atlanta segment. I’ve worked in the Richard Russell Federal Building for 13 years. We live in Canton which is 38 miles North of downtown and have never tried camping at Stone Mountain due to the terrible Friday evening traffic. It’s so close but so difficult to get to. Thanks for this video. We need to give it a go traffic be damned.
THAT SMART DECOR IS EVERYTHING....YOU KNOW HOW TO CATCH THE MOOD...I LOVE IT TOO MUCH!!!
Catching up on videos ! So relaxing!! Never disappointing- Thgts to self - buy that RV 😂😂 . Have it paid off when can retire ! And hit the road ! And Robert Ribeyes our favs- Makes me change up dinner every time! 😂😂😂
I love traveling on old US highways. I always get lost in historty.
wishing you a rapid and safe recovery; take care of you !!!
RUclips keeps playing your videos while I’m sleeping - you’re a great tour guide!
Glad to see that you guys made it back safely!
Ily did a great job! Promotion from camera person to transport coordinator? 😁
I really enjoy your videos. Hope both of you heal back real good, so you can keep traveling.
Great videos! appreciate the time you took filming your trips.
For those who a traveling to Atlanta, I definitely wouldn’t recommend Downtown. As you saw in the video, no one is there. All of us locals are in Midtown and Buckhead. In these areas you’ll find the best restaurants and shopping. Safe travels!
Just a note, an hour south of Carlsbad, NM is McKittrick Canyon, on border of Texas. In late October/early November if you hike in about 1-2 miles you can see the fall colors on the trees. It’s beautiful!
I just so love watching your travels and I love the theme song. Watching you make me very happy... I feel like I'm traveling too! I never get tired of seeing all the beautiful places and faces! On the road, I'm always keeping an eye out that I just might get to see MinniTinnie 🙂
Love the idea of Pelicamps around the country!
Being with you on the road never gets old!! Enjoy and stay safe.
Fabulous production. Thanks for your hard work. ❤
The start of this video 📹 felt like a Jurassic Park movie...pretty cool 😎
Looking forward to watching you Saturday, I made 2 pound cakes today, my church is serving the needy on next Wednesday, I have one more to make for that and making Sweet Potato Pound Cake to take to my sister's. It's just me here in Richmond, VA my husband passed 5 years ago the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. This is a hard time of year for me so I try to stay busy. Thank you for letting me share I enjoy watching your videos ❤🙏🏽
What a great film.
Gotta love Texas. What a great state. And Texans are one of the best in the world too.
The sand and sky is so gorgeous! Beautiful, just beautiful!
I love watching your long videos. Its like meditation for me. I play them at night and they help me sleep. It may be because my dad has the same accent as you do and your voice is relaxing to me. 😊
Your narration voice is everything 👏👏👌👌
So Good to See You !!! 🙂
Congrats on your cell service choice. I've been a happy Mint Mobile customer for over 2 years.
I am an American who lived in France as a student in 1992 with no major issues despite their reputation for rudeness. I guess it all depends on what neighborhoods you go to and who you interact with. I happen to be 25% of French descent and speak the language fluently, which really makes a difference. i have also taken classes in Spain and attended a World Youth Day in Italy with no problems. I am half Italian and speak Spanish fluently, too, which has also been helpful.
Of the states I've been to in the U.S., I have found people in New England, Florida, and Southern California to be more courteous and laid back than in my home state of NJ and neighboring NY. New Englanders seem to enjoy more wholesome ways of living (less congestion, better air quality, better care of the environment). Florida and Southern California have the advantage of warmer climates and a slower pace.
WELCOME TO NEW MEXICO- with in 1 1/2 hours you can go from sun to rain, snow to freezing rain back to a sunny day that you would kill for. When in NM you never know what's in store for you when you're in the high plains. It's always an adventure.
Love your videos. Wish you get better soon. God Bless you
I live in AZ , love watching your travels. I need to add Carlsbad and White Sands to my journey list.
I just retired and am afraid to travel so I'm getting up the nerve by watching travel videos and yours are stellar! I was thinking about how much I liked the music playing in the background (as I often find the music intrusive and mute it) and then I saw that you create all your own music, too! I really enjoy your narration style, too.
Really like this casual melody upbeat but refreshing. Nicely done
That little place is nice!
Lots of Love from India Robert
Winter time here in Colorado again and cold, alot of inside time now...................time to get back into some Traveling Robert. Missed it
I stayed at a HH brewery just east of the downtown. IPA and hit the hay...nice. Got a 4 pack to go.❤
The magic of Atlanta is in the boroughs.
Robert, it has been a pleasure to see this video even if it is almost 4 hours long and we have seen it in portions but very sad to see your injury. I hope you are better now since you are a strong champion doing those hikes that I would not even dare do in my health state. I know it was over one year ago but hopefully no long-term aches and pains from this injury. Let us know if you have a meet and greet in the Miami or Broward county area since we are from Broward. Love your content and wish you both the best.
I'm 90% back to normal. Thanks! There may be a meetup sometime this summer.
Always a great video, thank you, the drive in the snowy mountains was making me a little nervous, can’t imagine actually being there
I always used to wet classify in order to solve the issue you mentioned early on in the video. I think this would eliminate the possible problem of disturbing the flow while picking out larger pebbles/rocks. Basically keep your 5 gallon bucket full with water when classifying therefore stripping any gold from those rocks. Agitation with your hands while shaking helps ensure success during classification.
Hey Robert! I was watching your videos, and your song stuck in my head. Looked up on Spotify and found out you even made an EDM version. Love it! You should use it more often.
Keep on Truckin' Cowboy 🤠👉
VERY HELPFULL
SO WONDERFUL, your videos are always entertaining and funny to watch
Robert, I F*cking love you man, you are one of the best, if not the best travel vloggers on RUclips in my opinion. I wish that you do more of these videos and I wish you only the best in life. You bring joy and meaning to life and I appreciate your channel my man!
Robert, I love your videos. My parents had an RV and would travel to Florida every winter from Illinois to stay with my husband and me for the holidays, then on to Key West during the month of January. Your videos bring back such happy memories. 🥰🚐 Most recently, I’ve enjoyed the long videos while packing for a move to another part of Florida. Your music and your voice kept me calm and thinking positive thoughts during the monumental task of making the move happen. Thanks for that! I hope your leg has healed by now. I must have been getting tape in another room when you said how it happened… just wondering what happened to cause the injury?
Congratulations to Illy for driving all the way home! 👏🏻👏🏻 She’s a hero and an inspiration!
Robert Stone Mountain is my second home. I love this park. Next time you go there let me know I want to hike the mountain up with you.
catching up on videos I missed 👍🏼
Loved this! Thank You for sharing! Hope your both doing better.
That's cool, he's cooking with the baleine salt, I saw it recently with online shopping results
Awesome video keep them coming.
Hey, been off the app for a while and I encounter this treat of a video! The original Driving to the West is what made me enjoy your channel so much (especially that dang catchy tune), so it’s great I get to see it happen all over again this year, as I had my own “driving to the west” trip from NC to CA last year. Cheers to you both!
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing!
The statue of the guy on the horse who follows up the rear - the horses tail is wiping around to the front so the wind is at his back and that can be a good thing. LOL!!! 😂
I’ve been in Carlsbad caverns too - I jogged down to the bottom then took the elevator back up and go knew I’d end up with wind burn on my face!!
Relaxing, Robert, thank you❤
Love to see Old Glory flying❤️🇺🇸 Thanks for the videos.
First time to Atlanta...Robert the spruce IPA...Hey! Driving to west...Piney and Tiki were kool...Nice Lake...More like the cattle crawl

Just finished watching your video Driving to the West 2023. It was very enjoyable and you editing is superb!!!
Happy to see someone who enjoys traveling the USA 🇺🇸 and exploring different Cities.
Mrs Robert is a lucky woman. I have a RV but my age is getting up there to set it up. So I stay close to home on own. 🎉
Thank you for representing my hometown Perry,FL !!!!
I love your travel plans and videos
I'd say around 5 years and you will find a upgraded model that has some of the mods as a factory add on like liquid spring already on all 4 axles and you will trade up to a new model 😂
Hi Kaylan. Hope all is well. That was a great video. I'm going on vacation for the first-time in 8 years, and I hope to enjoy my time off as much as you do.
Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay happy.
Pops
lly, did a fantastic job getting you home safe
Excellent! Stop at The Sporting Camp anytime. We are located in the Deep East Texas Piney Woods. Near Hemphill, Texas. Saludos Roberto!
Very enjoyable video. Sorry you hurt your foot, Robert. Glad Illy is ok.
What an extensive and great road trip! You do it up right.
Goin on a road trip with you is like going mysdlf, or at least the closest thing to it. PS- Native Atlantan here.... 42 miles out to the south now.
The imports were ruining it.
All the best stuff in Atlanta is on the North side of the city, Buckhead north. Atlanta's churches are not to be missed.
And hearing " Big Moe", the centuries old pipe organ in the Fox Theatre. You haven't lived.
Also go upstairs to The Egyptian Room in The Fox.
Sunday afternoon they usually have a short organ concert before the movie.
THE VARSITY, intersection of North Ave & I-75/85 near Georgia Tech. Best fast food ever! (Onion rings especially good w/burgers/dogs.
Choc. P.C. Chili dawgs & bergers. Fried pies! Yum. Piedmont park, downtown Peachtree & 10th sts, Nature in the city.
You missed alot of what Atlanta has to offer.
Saint Phillips Cathedral, Peachtree St. at Buckhead.
Elton John lives just up the road in the penthouse.
Your assesment of Atl. Fairly close. Just not at night, except if you travel with a local to keep you out of bad areas.
One of which was around the MLK Center.. Not after dark.
Decatur (east Atlanta) not for after dark.🙄😮
You're smart on your roadtrip to bypass Cali.....😄👏🌹
Very beautiful video. Congrats. I’am very proud of you.❤❤
😊very nicely made I liked the educational facts but really enjoyed the sounds and 🎶 especially the music. Keep doing what you're doing and most of all have FUN!! ✌

Hope your pelican park is safe from storm August 29/23
Great video!!
Pelicamp looks beautiful in the fall
Great video. I was at Ichetucknee Springs way back in 1972 and again in the mid '80s. Back in the '70s, absolutely no one was there since nobody knew about it. With the Florida crowds now, a time machine would be handy. 😁
