Hi Robin, this was such a fun collaboration! I'm laughing how we both said, "we've all been there." haha! It's true. We have! I loved your ideas too! Naan bread is genius and the cold plate in the summer is so perfect! And the salmon! Loved everything. Thanks for collaborating. Let's do it again! Love, Jennifer
you should publish a cookbook, I made lots of your recipes and all come out very good, I have some on my sleeves that I would like to share with you, Love your dinner ideas you really have round dinner for your family like me THANKS, GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!
Hi Robin, aluminum foil is recyclable ONLY if it's clean (no food, no grease on it), otherwise it ends up in the landfill. Instead, I switched to silicone baking mats that you can wash and reuse countless times. And we do the charcuterie board every week for "no cook Sunday". I deserve a day off!! :)
I can make bechamel sauce in my sleep so it’s mac n cheese when i don’t want to cook! This is for kiddos because my husband doesn’t eat. For him, I have frozen kababs (we are Pakistanis) which we will have as a sandwich. Desi cooking requires was too much cooking but daal is an exception so sometimes I throw that in my insta pot with all the seasonings and ta-da dinner is served. I also make different types of Asian inspired pasta
I made the salmon and coconut rice today. Absolutely delicious! It was quick and everyone in my family loved it! A huge thanks from this busy homeschooling wife!
I can’t believe that I’ve never considered a cold plate for a dinner option!! That’s genius!!!! And my girls & I love breakfast for dinner. For homemade pizzas, we often use lightly toasted English muffins, add toppings, then broil in the oven until toasted through. YUM! 🍕
Thank you. Those recipes look delicious. The Daily Connoisseur sent me here. I will check in on your videos from time to time from now on. I subscribed. I just loved the last salmon recipe. :-) I need at least one day off each week from cooking, usually on a Friday or Saturday, that use to be our date night before Covid. My husband just ordered an onion and pepper pizza, a salad and 2 canoli. Hopefully next weekend it will be warmer and we can finally go out to eat under an umbrella at an actual restaurant. We haven't dined inside since the Covid shutdown, but we had our second Covid vaccine shot on April 15th and we are looking forward to a more "normal" life soon. :-) I am from Massachusetts and our Covid numbers are going down, thank God.
Thank you for some additional ideas to add to our homemaking arsenal. I’ve been a homemaker for 45 years and we can ALL learn something new. Also, thanks for sharing Jennifer. 😊
Thank you Rebecca! I’ve been at it for almost 30 years and I learn new things all the time! 😂 You are going to love Jennifer! She is just as sweet as she appears! 😊💗💕
Those all look delicious. I usually make large batches of some dishes with intentions of eating them over a couple of days. I especially do sinigang - Filipino sour soup and my most favorite food in my stock pot. That enables Daniel and me to eat it over a couple of days. I also do a simple recipe of canned tomatoes, black beans, and corn. Learned about that in a book. Lee is turned off by the soured meat although it isn't a spoiled kind of sour. I use a tamarind seasoning blend that has salt, tamarind powder, onion powder, garlic powder, and tomato powder. Daniel and I also love rice with just soy sauce.
I’m not familiar with sinigang, but I love trying new things! It’s great to have some familiar recipes that you can put together for those busy nights - your strategy is a good one! 😊💗💕
I have always loved breakfast for dinner, or any meal of the day, LOL. I love to try the smoked salmon on toast and the pineapple and salmon. Yet, I don't like coconut, I'm worried that I won't like the coconut milk.
I just wanted to say that recently I picked up a bag of frozen diced avocados at Costco and while I like fresh best it is nice to have them when I need.
I have never seen frozen avocados and didn’t even know that you can freeze them! That would be great to have stocked in the freezer. Thanks for the tip!😊💗💕
Thank you for posting this. When I don't feel like cooking it's bad because it'd nearly 50 dollars for us to order out with 2 teen boys and 3 up and coming other boys lol
Your video came up and I don't regret watching it .I will try the salmon and pineapple .is your son coeliac ? If he is be careful about the cross contamination it is important .I'd like a link for the pan many thanks
Well if that is what you can get on the table when you don’t feel like it or don’t have time I am so impressed. I am not even going there with what I come up with at times ❤️
That is so funny! I saw both titles and was wondering if it was a RUclips thing haha. So glad you two are friends since I love both of your channels!!!
Hi Robin, I will be making that salmon dinner 🍽. It looks tasty and elegant. Two things I love. Thank you so much Robin, I learn and feel so much peace when I view your videos. Warm thoughts I send your way Raquel 🙋🏻♀️🙊🙉🙈🌬💕💕
I oved these dinner ideas and I follow Jennifer at the Daily Connoisseur and loved hers as well. I keep some emergency meal ideas in my phone that have about 5-6 ingredients. I'll keep some of those ingredients on hand, or have quick shopping list from my phone notes, so I can can quickly run into the store and grab them. I am going to try the quinoa dish! One of our go-to's are French Dips.
Thank you, Robin. I really enjoy all your videos, but the cooking ones are extra fun because I always find something new to try. Coconut rice? Yes, please! :-). On a side note, I just love that delicate little necklace you are wearing. Very sweet and flattering. Thanks for sharing!
Made the quinoa dish tonight with leftover taco meat. Fabulous! Love how it's 1pot. Thanks! Also here in WI we love to make sausage and cheese platters with veggies pickles nuts etc. I will make up a platter/small dishes and we call it "snack lunch" very fast and easy with young kids.
I like to fry my breakfast sandwich eggs in those silicone rings, it’s fun to have them round-shaped for the buns. Thinly sliced onion, just a little, is great on these, a friend taught me that, then I serve with avocado and tomato wedges with a little vinaigrette (I keep my homemade in the fridge). If I have the energy, I lightly spray the cut bun sides with oil, then toast them on the grill before adding the mayo and eggs.
I watched Jennifer for the first time tonight and then she sent me over to you and you both are such a delight! I loved the video and learned so much. Thank you💜
Good morning Robin....you and Jennifer both took the words right out of my mouth....it isn't the cooking it's the thought of all the clean up! I've dropped by this morning because Jennifer sent me but I'll be staying.....love the video.
These look so delicious, thanks for sharing! But too much cooking involved! When I don’t feel like cooking, I don’t want to be measuring things and using a bunch of different ingredients, lol! Guess I’m just lazy, but some of these are a little more time consuming than I was hoping for.😅
Thank you Erika! I know what you mean! I tried to cover the bases by offering a bit of variety including two that don’t require cooking at all. But some nights a bowl of cereal might be the best solution! (Just chose you leave that one out!) 😂👍💕
Hi Robin! Today was for me one of those hard days, and at the end of the afternoon, I decided to take a brake even though my chores were not finished. I brewed myself a good cup of tea, and went to watch my favorite RUclips channels. Lo and behold, there you were with many quick meal ideas, just what I needed! I had planned a meal, but it was too late to make it and I was too tired. So I chose to make your breakfast for diner. It was delicious! I didn’t have English muffins, but I had just bought a fresh sourdough loaf of bread, which was perfect! I’m so thankful for you video that I saw just at the right time! I will also go see Jennifer’s, since I’m a subscriber of her channel too! I enjoy very much both your channels, and I made many of both of your recipes! Thank you so much!
What a fun video to watch. These are my favorite ones to watch, besides cleaning and motivation videos. :) Everything looked delicious. ! I make home made pizza crust every Friday night for my husband and I. Unfortunately I can't eat anything with fish or shell food because I am allergic to it. I would have to find something else to replace it maybe spam? or chicken ? or even a thin slice of beef ? anyways thanks for sharing. I so love your channel. By the way, you look so beautiful I love your hair its so lovely. I also have gray hair but I color it. I don't think I look as pretty as you. You are stunning and classy.
Thank you Catherine! This was a fun video to make because I find myself in this situation more than I want to admit! 😂 I’m sure you could substitute any of the things you mentioned in place of the Salmon - especially chicken! 👍😋💕
Great video Robin! Avocado with the cheesy egg on an English muffin is great too. I discovered it this past summer when I gave up mayo. The salmon looked amazing, I definitely have to try it. Have a great rest of your week.
..I have made the Eggs on English Muffins, and adding sliced tomato to that is so delicious.. Adding cooked bacon takes it to a great level, lol ! Thank you for these lovely supper ideas !
Hello Robin, your meal ideas look delicious, particularly the coconut rice and salmon. The blue pan you were using is very nice and looks good quality. Will go over to Jennifer's channel and check her out. Lots of blessings!
Great ideas for quick meals. The pan looks easy clean up. The bread used for pizza crust is a great idea. I’m used to the same old meals, I will try some of these ideas. Thanks Robin.
Loved this video! It was packed full with so much useful information. The recipes looked delicious, I’m excited to visit the Daily Connoisseur site, and that Always Pan looks awesome. Thank you for your time and hard work you do bringing us such great content. Blessings to you!
I just purchased the off white Always pan using your link and code! I’ve been intrigued and decided I had to try it! I don’t like Teflon so I normally stick with stainless steel but it isn’t as fun to clean. Haha
Hi Robin - I am a little later watching this morning. I had to get blood work and pick up my prepared tax return this morning. I wanted to thank you for helping me clean my storage room yesterday. I have a room similar to your pantry that I have recently added to my zone cleaning. Instead of an office, I have a cutting table and gift wrapping station in there. I was so dreading it because I needed to take everything off the shelves and clean and declutter. I started looking for inspiration so I pulled up your video from 2 years ago and took my IPad in the storage room with me. I did it shelf by shelf like you did. So thank you for helping me. Love in Christ.
Thank you Donna! I really need to get back into my pantry to clean and reorganize. So, if I can get my act together, I’ll have some more motivation coming your way for the next time you tackle that zone! 😄💗💕
I am familiar with Jennifer thanks to your introduction several videos ago. I love this kind of video compilation. Great ideas for introducing fish into one’s diet. I love the pineapple and salmon recipe. Thanks Robin.
Excellent ideas!! Every recipe looks easy and yummy but I’m especially excited to try the salmon and coconut rice! Sounds so good🙏🏽 God bless you and your family💕
I'm here from Jennifer's channel! Great video. I always feel so bad when I don't feel like cooking, and if I don't feel like cooking, I definitely don't feel like cleaning up after! Lol. I appreciate these videos so much! Also, I noticed HEB! I hope you're staying warm and safe! Im hoping there isn't ice on the road tomorrow because I need to get groceries lol
How great to discover a new channel from Jennifer. Loved your suggestions! As an Aussie, sometimes North American recipes can seem a little bit high-calorie or processed. I've always loved Jennifer's recipes as they are far more in line with our sensibilities, yet still practical and simple. Yours are too!
Thank you and welcome! I’m so glad you came over from Jennifer’s channel. Our family prefers a more whole food approach instead of highly processed convenience foods. We also eat gluten free for our son, so that makes it necessary to cook at home even more. Thankfully I enjoy cooking! 😊💗💕
Loved all of your quick dinner ideas. I love doing that a couple times a week. The cold plate options for winter work for us with a hot bowl of tomato soup. Breakfast for dinner is always a winner.
I love both of you, but never knew you were friends. Such a lovely surprise for me. Have a blessed day. Stay warm. Hill Country is chill country for the next week or so.
Thank you! I adore Jennifer! She is just as wonderful as she appears and I am blessed to call her my friend. I am bracing for the cold weather and looking forward to some cozy indoor time. 😄 I hope you are staying warm and safe as well! 😊💗💕
Great ideas from both of you. I would also like to add that I make it a point to keep several freezer meals in my freezer at all times. For instance when I make shepherds pie for supper I make an xtra one for the freezer. I do the same with meatloaf and meatballs and spaghetti sauce. When I roast a chicken or turkey some of those and gravy go in the freezer for later. The possibilities are endless :-)
Thank you Michelle! You are absolutely right! Freezer meals are the best! I always thank myself when I have the forethought to keep things such as that in my freezer. 👍😊💕
I follow Jennifer also. I got a lot of good ideas between the two of you! I don’t like fish, but I’ll bet that sheet pan meal would be good with pork or chicken. Looking forward to trying some of these!
I think this video and all the recipes were great! Omelette would be a great option for dinner when you don't feel like cooking. Otherwise I liked the smoked salmon on toast, the mexican dish (but I would do it without meat and some extra beans as we don't eat meat at all) and the salmon recipe at the the end. I can just imagine how delicious the pineapples and the coconut rice tasted together. Thanks Robyn!
I absolutely loved this video!!! Since my son’s are doing college at home I find myself struggling with dinner more often. Great recipes that I will definitely be trying. Thank you 🙏
Thank you Sandra! The always pan is an investment, but very good quality. If you use my link and code (in the description box) you will get a 10% discount. 😊💗💕
Hi Robin, I am visiting here from Jennifer’s channel & truly enjoyed your video. I tried to order the pan and the discount code isn’t recognized. I’d like for you to receive credit for the order so I’ll try it again in a few days.
Thank you Melanie! I’m glad you came over. I will check into what’s happening with the discount code for the Always Pan. I’m sorry it wasn’t working and I appreciate you letting me know. Hopefully we will have it up and running soon! 😊💗💕

All those dinners look great! I love that frozen garlic it's so much easier to use than fresh. I use it a lot in chili, etc. Just pop one out and back in the freezer.
Another wonderful video! I also enjoy making home made personal pizzas! We love Salmon! Another great sauce to use on it is brown sugar and soy sauce. Loved all of your ideas!
Good morning Robin😁 What a great idea to collaborate to share these quick dishes. There are those days when we really don't feel like cooking bigger meals. I have done the Salmon in toast with salad which is my go to for lunch occasionally. I love Mexican food and will have to try your dish. Actually, all of the dishes look great. A different take on meal time....I love it!
@@FaithandFlour these great quick dishes will definitely be a big help. The coconut rice looks so delicious as well as the pineapple salmon. They all look yummy. I am also going to consider the Always Pan....especially since you approve of it. Have a good day Robin😁💛⚘

Haha Jennifer! I thought that too! It was lots of fun and I'm looking forward to next time! 💛🤗💛
I love your pearl hair accessory, Jennifer! I don't remember seeing that on you before.
Hi Robin, aluminum foil is recyclable ONLY if it's clean (no food, no grease on it), otherwise it ends up in the landfill. I didn’t know that about aluminum foil! I do have a silpat mat - I guess I need to get another one. We have that almost every Sunday too! 😄👍💕

I made the salmon and coconut rice today. Absolutely delicious! It was quick and everyone in my family loved it! A huge thanks from this busy homeschooling wife!
The best advice I got for cooking quinoa is to rinse 🚿 out the bitter coating 👍🏼 makes a difference
I can’t believe that I’ve never considered a cold plate for a dinner option!! That’s genius!!!!
And my girls & I love breakfast for dinner.
For homemade pizzas, we often use lightly toasted English muffins, add toppings, then broil in the oven until toasted through. YUM! 🍕
I’m glad you found that helpful and I love the English muffin pizza idea! 👍😊💕
Hi Robin. I'm visiting from the Daily Connoisseur. Glad to hear your ideas.
Hi Laurie and welcome! I’m so glad you came over and hope to see you here again soon! 😊💗💕
What you call „cold plate“ we call Abendbrot in Germany. It’s what we usually eat as an evening meal.
Love the Naan bread idea and the coconut rice ! Thank you. BTW: you look very happy!
Thank you! I hope you will give those a try and love it as much as we do! 😊💗💕

The sauce for the salmon looks SO good!
I have always loved breakfast for dinner, or any meal of the day, LOL. I love to try the smoked salmon on toast and the pineapple and salmon. Yet, I don't like coconut, I'm worried that I won't like the coconut milk.
Me too Robin! Plain rice would be good if you don’t like coconut- the sauce has lots of flavor. 😊💗💕
This looked great. Gonna try that salmon.
One of my easy go toss is tamale caserol.
All cans you just open and sprinkle with cheese.
Thank you
Excellent suggestion Judy!!! 👍😊💕
With you cold meal try some hot apple cider with cinnamon sticks. It's amazing.

Haha Sharon! 😂 I have served some pretty pathetic last minute meals too. Maybe we should do a video on that! 🤣👍💕
@@FaithandFlour I might hold you to that!
Hi Robin, so awesome. How much ground beef did you use in the one pan dinner?
What you call a "cold plate", my husband refers to as a "snacky dinner" and this was my exact mood tonight.
LOL we call the same meal “Cutting Board”
That’s funny! Everyone seems to have a name for it - our kids dubbed it “cheese fest” 😂
I enjoyed your video. Jennifer sent me! Loved your ideas.
Two of my favorites ladies to watch. Great video
We love shakshuka. Eggs in spicy tomato sauce
Fried egg sandwiches were a favorite in my house growing up.

Welcome! I’m so glad you came over! Looks like we are in for a long stretch of icy weather. 🥶 Be careful if you must go out! 😊💗💕
Thank you Jan! I love tomato soup - that’s always a great go to meal as well! I almost included it and laughed when I saw that Jennifer did! 😊💗💕
Awesome ideas! My daughter doesn’t love salmon but loves pineapple and coconut rice so maybe I can convince her to give this a try.
I hope she likes it Stacey! I’m a big salmon fan - so maybe we can win her over! 😉😄💕
I follow Jennifer also. I got a lot of good ideas between the two of you! I don’t like fish, but I’ll bet that sheet pan meal would be good with pork or chicken. Looking forward to trying some of these!
Thank you Lori! I think chicken or pork would be great in place of the salmon! 👍😊💕
Hi how r u mam all are super
Thank you Janaki! 😊💗💕
Thank you Sophia! I love omelets for dinner! 👍😊💕
Love the idea of the naan bread - I've used pitas or english muffins before (and making my own crust) but I think the Naan bread would be excellent!
I hope you will give it a try Katie! I actually prefer it over traditional pizza crusts and it doesn’t get any easier! 😊💗💕
I enjoy Jennifer’s channel also! Thank you for these recipes! I love Salmon also!!
Isn’t Jennifer great?! I just love her. I could eat salmon every week. I hope you give this a try! 😊💗💕

Thank you Anna! Bon Appetit! 😊💗💕
I add the spices as soon as the meat is browned so they can toast a bit. I like how this enhances the flavor. Thanks, Robin!
That’s a good suggestion Evelyn. I have done that before and you are right! I need to remember that next time. Thanks for the reminder! 😊💗💕
Very nice recipes!
Thank you Sara! 😊💗💕
We like to make pizza in our house. I’m going to check out the Naan.
Great Jeanette! I hope your family loves it as much as we do! 😊💗💕
I adore your videos. They both calm & inspire me. Thank you🥰
Thank you Cherie! So glad you have you here! 😊💗💕
We looooove using naan bread for pizza! The smaller size is perfect for my little people. 😊

Welcome! I’m so glad you came over. I hope that you like what you see here and that I will see you again soon! 💛😊💛
All those dinners look great! I love that frozen garlic it's so much easier to use than fresh. I use it a lot in chili, etc. Just pop one out and back in the freezer.
Thank you Donna! Aren’t those great?! 👍😊💕
Another wonderful video! I also enjoy making home made personal pizzas! We love Salmon! Another great sauce to use on it is brown sugar and soy sauce. Loved all of your ideas!
Thank you Amy! I love that combination on salmon too! 👍😋💕

Thank you Helen! I hope it helps because we really have all been there! 😂 💗💕
@@FaithandFlour these great quick dishes will definitely be a big help. The coconut rice looks so delicious as well as the pineapple salmon. They all look yummy. I am also going to consider the Always Pan....especially since you approve of it. Have a good day Robin😁💛⚘
