I do a quarterly and annual budget on the computer, but I started doing my monthly budget in a notebook and accounting spreadsheet. I find that I stick to a budget much better when I do it on paper. I seem to be a lot more budget conscious as well. When I just made grocery lists and didn’t meal plan I frequently bought things that we didn’t eat before they went bad. I also keep my pantry stocked with staples and a white board to write things we run out of right away. All these things have helped me be more organized and not to waste money or time. I also do a weekly cleaning plan so I do a little every day and don’t end up with a whole lot on one or two days. My house stays clean and organized. I love all your tips, they are great! God bless
Robin just watched this another idea for planning is i use a clipboard with storage and handle. I use my outlook to schedule things my phone, tablet and computerare linked so no matter what I use they sinc up. The first of the month I look over my full month to see what days I have appointments, work meetings, due dates for projects, and what days I have available to schedule other things. On Monday I go over the week, look at my last week and move forward any projects that still working on, and print out the schedule for the week. I use this to check off things, right quick notes and ideas. This has really helped me keep on track.
Yes, I read the Bible every single day and when she said that, I immediately subscribed to her. Plus I have OCD and I clean for my business. I like the way she cleans.
I just found your channel a couple of days ago and I’m obsessed! You’re so organized, productive and yet calm and relaxing to listen to! I feel like I’ve learned so much from your videos! Way more than any other “RUclips mom” - most of whom are fake and shallow. You’re amazing!! I just love watching your videos! Thank you for sharing all of your great tips! Your home is beautiful and your family is so lucky to have such a great homemaker! 🥰☀️
New subscriber. So glad to have found your channel. God is first in my life so I enjoy finding RUclipsrs that feel the same about spending time with the Lord. He is my priority. I too use a book planner I can physically write in. I am not a technology person that uses apps for everything. I am old school. Technology is convenient but not necessary. I do a monthly meal plan each month which gives me freedom to either follow it or change it according to whatever life brings that day or week. It also helps write my grocery shopping list. I just look at my plan and buy what I need for the week. It works for me. My family eats animal proteins. I do eat a lot of plant based foods but I need to cook meats for my family so I eat them as well. Look forward to your channel and learning. Blessings.
I'm such a big believer in "crowding out", Robin. Focussing on adding good things, rather than subtracting "bad" things, is such a kind approach to making healthy changes.💃
Thank you dear Robin sister in Christ, I loved your video especially because of your faith towards God. I am a young recently married woman. I found it very interesting that how you are utilizing your time taking care of your family, giving time to God and also sharing your faith and knowledge with others too. Thank you for your video it was really encouraging to me......
So encouraging - I find I am already doing more or less everything you are doing, with some variations! I find it’s the only way I can keep on top of my life - even more importantly because I have bad health and days when I can’t do anything. This way I always know things are covered. I am really loving your channel! You have a beautiful home and appear to have a very happy and united family. In the midst of so much bad news and chaos in the world, it does my heart good to visit you. Thank you and God bless you.
Thank you Shoshi! I agree that the world is full of enough negativity and bad news. Our family has the same ups and downs as all families, but I want my channel to be a source of encouragement with an uplifting message. I'm glad that you have found that here! Blessings! 💛😊 💛
Thank you for the video that was helpful. My husband and I read 3 chapters a day, that works out that we get through the whole bible once a year, we alternative the books each year.
Thank you Teresa! How wonderful that you spend time in the Word with your husband. I like to alternate the reading plan or translation from year to year too. It keeps things fresh and I'm always amazed at how new things are revealed to me each year! Have a blessed weekend! 💛😊 💛

I'm not great at planning in general (although I'm learning), but I've planned our meals for well over 30 years. It started when my husband was in the Air Force and was only paid twice a month. I had to shop for two weeks at a time, and the only way I could do that without forgetting something was to plan what we were going to eat so I could make a list of what we needed. A meal plan saves us money and frustration, and I kept it up even after he got out of the Air Force! I love seeing how you use your planner. I'm just implementing a paper planner within the past year, and I'm beginning to love it and NEED it! LOL
Where have you been all my RUclips life?!? What a nice video! I’ve been hearing about Imperfect Foods, so it may time to try it out. I plan on having a bigger garden this year too to save money. I love the YouVersion app and do a read-the-bible-in-a-year plan every year. The chronological one is awesome! And one more thing: your penmanship is beautiful! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😊😊😊👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Always looking forward to your next video. We have just moved to San Antonio and it’s amazing how different your weather seems to be from ours haha. Thank you and I’ll be watching.
New subscriber. Love your videos, Robin. I gradually introduced an 80% plant based food plan recently, fish and chicken still included. I feel better for this change, already. I love to read the Bible via word searches. I've discovered much that I would overlook otherwise. Blessings to you and yours.
Loved it... I’m a complete vegetarian also.. in fact I’m born and being so for these 40 yrs..I’m so proud to say that all my family n hereditary has been so...
Hi Robin - Ur family is blessed by how you run your home. Taking care of your home and family is something God has for to do in ur life and you do it efficiently with planning and preparation and of course His help. I am all about planning and preparation. That was even my job in my work career (production planner for a large chemical company). I don’t think you can be successful at anything without planning and preparation. I am so thankful you have led me to my Erin Condren planner. It is working so well and I continue to find ways for it to function for me. My daughter and I were talking yesterday about our favorite people on utube and you were at the top. BTW, your glasses look so cute on you.
Thank you so much Donna! I'm so glad that your planner continues to serve you well. I couldn't agree more about planning - "failing to plan is planning to fail"! 💛😊 💛
Hi Robin!!I love writing!!!I can't imagine myself without my paper organizer ever since I was 20 years old!!I also use a lot of vegetables I buy from a flea market in my neighbouhood once a week🍅🍆🍏🍒By the way I love your oven,it looks amazing!!!
Thank you Eleftheria! I wish that I had a market like that nearby. I love shopping at the street market on Wednesdays and Saturdays when we are in Switzerland. Hope you are having a great day!💛😊 💛
@@FaithandFlour Yes,these markets with fresh vegies and friuts are great!!I always buy everything from there so when I go to the supermarket I buy rice, pasta, milk and things like that. And I also buy fresh meat from the local butcher who breeds his own cattle so as to be sure of what I eat...as possible of course!!!😀
Hi Robin, I had to thank you so very much for all the close up detail you showed us in all your meal planning, spenditure recording, your planner. Your Erin planner is one that I've wanted for yrs, but they don't ship to Australia, and I'm in Western Australia. So frustrating and very disappointing for me. So unless someone who knows me in the US, where I'm originally from in Oklahoma city, gifts me an Erin Condren Lifeplanner, ..I must be very content with what I find over here. The other matter is your consistent Bible reading routine and schedule. I'm also in the process of following a Bible reading schedule to read it cover to cover in this year. I've done this previously as well and there's nothing like it. You're very inspiring to me in all aspects of your life, including your relationship with your Autistic son Patten? I hope I spelled it right. Our only child , 27yrs old and married, is also Autistic. She married the most lovely man who she's been best friends with for 7 yrs. ~ Anyway, I just wanted you to know how much you inspire me in all aspects of daily life , hence my Instagram name is @a.lady.inspired. I follow you there as well. You're a pleasure to watch, Robin. Thank you, and may your heart continue to be blessed. Debbie 🌹🌏🙏💜
Hi Debbie! So wonderful that you had the opportunity to move from Oklahoma to Australia! I'm sorry that Erin Condren doesn't ship there - maybe one day soon! It's nice to connect with another special needs mom - both of us with 27 year olds. 😄 How wonderful that your daughter is married and that you are so happy with your son-in-law. As far as reading the Bible from cover to cover each year, I feel that there is no better way to spend time with our Lord. It sounds like we have much in common! Have a great weekend! 💛😊 💛
@@FaithandFlour Thank you so much Robin, for taking the time to read and reply to my comment. Yes, we certainly do seem to have much in common. 😊👍📖🙏🌹💛🌏
That imperfect produce box is a great idea. I can get some stuff like that at our local supermarket but it comes in plastic !!! I find doing as much food prep as possible to be key to eating well. I also make up a big salad on Monday that will last me 4-5 days for lunch.
Hello & good morning to you sweet friend & neighbor, hugs from me, Lauren, from Houston!!!!! Thank you for sharing this video :) LOVE still seeing people WRITE, lol...as so many people type nowadays...God bless you & the family xoxoxo (please tell Austin boy hello for me)
Hi Robin, amazing video, love to watch them and learn. Thank you for posting! Can you please tell me what is the name of that paper that you used on top of cookie sheet to bake broccoli 🥦 ? And where can I order it. Thank you
Robin - I am so happy that I found your channel. We were destined to cross paths #tworobins Thanks for all you do. Have a good day. Hugs Robyn with a “Y” 😍
Thanks for sharing this, it was fun to see how you plan your week, and gain new ideas to help streamline my life! I also just started meal planning based on what I have, it makes so much sense!
I have another question! I forgot! In regards to Bible studies, have you ever listen to Jennifer Rothschild? In the past year I have really enjoyed her Bible studies. I have then losing my sight in the past few years and has only a small percentage of my vision left. I have discovered her in the process of finding encouragement because she also is blind
Hi Anne! I haven't heard of Jennifer Rothschild. I will have to find her Bible studies - I appreciate your recommendation. I am sorry to hear of your vision loss. The YouVersion Bible Ap has an option for listening to the Bible Recap daily readings that you might be interested in trying. Have a blessed day! 💛😊 💛
Nice video. Words of wisdom for you: You should soak your cut broccoli in bowl of luke warm water and a few T. of table salt, soak for 10 min and re-rinse. You'll be amazing what comes out of your produce !!!
I’ve watched several videos and honestly I thought I did subscribe but it showed I didn’t so today I did 😊. Enjoy listening . I just bought a planner at Target and they had more big ones which I bought . I like the size you showed but next year😂. I’ve been thinking of reading the Bible so this just inspired me. Thank you .
I downloaded a Bible App to my phone today and it will send me a verse morning and evening. Not sure if I would have thought of it if I didn’t hear you speak yesterday ⛪️
Thank you so much for this wonderful video! I, too, love Erin Condren, and I am so glad that she has the folio system. I just ordered some from your affiliate link. My word for 2020 is SIMPLE and I know that all of the components will help keep me simplified! We eat mostly plant-based, as well. I find it super easy if I don't rely on complicated recipes and just use the food as God made it! Delicious!
Hi Robin! I too use a paper day timer. I have tried the computer route and it didn't work for me either. I call my day timer "my brain" and put everything in it. Planning my week is one of my favorite things to do and of course checking off things in my to do list is very satisfying.
Peggy Anglin At the end of every tax year, I put that year’s day planner in with the tax papers. You’d be amazed how you sometimes want to go back and reference when an event was, or when you did something in the past!
This is a good one! I am going to look into that planner. I have been just using random scrap papers. I'd like to have it all in one place and I like that it's 'petite'. BTW...liking your silver hair shining through!
I just found your videos - thank you so much for the simple suggestions in making changes in our lives. I appreciate all of your routines in helping to better ourselves and our homes.
Hi, I found your video yesterday and loved watching it and several more. I have a question though, can you please include the link of the Bible Study you are enjoying with your friends? I went back this morning to find it so I could incorporate it into my daily Bible time and had to re-watch the video in order to find where you had mentioned it. (Not that it was a bad thing). Thank you!
Thank you for the inspiration, I really need to get myself organised a bit better ❤ Your dinner looked lovely, what did you sprinkle over the broccoli before you roasted it? I've not tried roasting broccoli before but am always interested in finding new ways of serving veg. It's a good way of keeping meals interesting 😊
Hi Robin I decluttered my bedroom over the weekend just gone and I got rid of a lot of rubbish and 4 bags full for the charity shop that I work for ❤️xx
Thanks for lovely video. Always feels good to be organized and on track. Writing it all down sure is helpful. Daily bible reading is a peaceful and reaffirming way to start the day! Have a blessed weekend and see you in your next video. 😊💖
Oh you do have a dog! I wondered if part of keeping a spotless house was inevitably going to be not having pets. Good to know it is possible to have both!

I love the idea of imperfect foods. Saves on waste. As other countries go hungry this shows respect for what we take for granted
Robin, I love your office set-up. Your pantry is quite substantial, and it is so unusual to see a desk area in that room. How convenient. 😊

Nice video. Words of wisdom for you: You should soak your cut broccoli in bowl of luke warm water and a few T. of table salt, soak for 10 min and re-rinse. You'll be amazing what comes out of your produce !!!
What comes out? What do you mean?
Delicious!
Sounds like we have much in common! I hope you enjoy your new folio system as much as I do! 💛😊 💛
Hi Robin! I too use a paper day timer. I have tried the computer route and it didn't work for me either. I call my day timer "my brain" and put everything in it. Planning my week is one of my favorite things to do and of course checking off things in my to do list is very satisfying.
Haha Peggy! I find checking off things in my planner so satisfying and I'm glad not to be alone in that! 😂💛
Thank you Gail! I'm enjoying the "sparkles" that are showing more and more! I hope you enjoy the planner as much as I do! Have a great weekend!
💛😊 💛

Whoa! Imperfect Foods seem to deliver to my area!! 😁 (we are too "out of the way" for a lot of good stuff). Need to run this by DH! 👍
Thank you!
I really hope you got some good sources of protein in your other plant based meals.
Great video!! New subscriber. Definitely going to check out the Imperfect food program.
Thank you for the inspiration, I really need to get myself organised a bit better ❤
Your dinner looked lovely, what did you sprinkle over the broccoli before you roasted it? I've not tried roasting broccoli before but am always interested in finding new ways of serving veg. It's a good way of keeping meals interesting 😊
Thank you Tina! I sprinkled an Italian spice blend over the broccoli. I switch it up by using different spices along with some salt and pepper. 💛😊 💛
I loved this video! Thankyou ;)
Hi! I am wondering, where is your red apron from please? Thank you.
Love your channel. This is right on track for where I am in scheduling.. thanks💕 where did you get your lettuce spinner?
rooftopworship Yes, prettiest spinner I’ve seen!
Hi Robin I decluttered my bedroom over the weekend just gone and I got rid of a lot of rubbish and 4 bags full for the charity shop that I work for ❤️xx

Oh you do have a dog! I wondered if part of keeping a spotless house was inevitably going to be not having pets. Good to know it is possible to have both!
Could you tell me where you got your bible from? Thank you 🙏🏼
Hi. New to your videos. What was that you cooked your potatoes in?
