I always enjoy the SteveO reviews because they're HONEST with no added bias😁🤘I wanted to buy this scrubber because everyone was raving about it, so thanks for the review👍
Good review. I find it’s a good tool with good flow for rough scrubbing. Especially if there are narrow crooks where other methods are cumbersome and inefficient. It shines on low glass that get grass clipping and commercial glass that has light on it all night and gets massacred with bug poop. It’s not a finish tool. The question I ask before deploying is would it be quicker to pass twice over the glass or get a ladder if needed and hand scrub and clean?
I can get two poles in use and then it’s pretty speedy to go over the glass twice. The first time won’t even need purified water. Sometimes that’s handy.
Another great review. I was thinking about getting it. I have the Tucker hybrid brush with the bronze wool attachment so.
I feel about the same. The biggest limitation is not getting that 1/4" - 1/2" at the top because of the rinse bar.
Totally agree. I don’t find it scrubs any better than a boar brush. I’d like to test it on a sunroom or solar panels
I think I would use the alpha scrubber on a window, Whats set back on a hip roof on a two story home . Reason being lighter than using a Waterfed brush.
👍 Good info. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Maybe they can make a row of bristles at the side top and bottom, then frames can be done as well
Thanks for the input. Was looking at the new Tucker alpha to use for homes. But I'm leaning towards boars hybrids.
Tino' Pressure Washing I would get the full
Boar hair for homes, it’s a great brush!!
I agree, just got a full boars hair and have really liked this Alpha Scrubber. Boars hair gets to the edges much better with less effort overall and windows look great.
How well does the rinse bar work on a job with low water pressure?
you eluded to it.... how do you clean full on construction cleans with WFP? I have a job this week. it's my first WFP job... haha. please. thank you
Hey Mitch we just chatted online lol
I'm still on the fence about this one, i wouldn't use it for anything other than glass pool fences, here in Australia the pool glass gets a lot of bug droppings, grass clippings and junk that sticks to it, thats where i think this tool will excel - where theres no frames.
I bet that scrub tool would be best on solar panel cleaning
Yes I've heard it does a great job on solar panels
Hi Steveo I want to start pole washing some residential two story what would you suggest a starting system.
Thanks Tim
Tried one of those. Doesn't really do a great job. My regular pole is more effective especially when you know how to use it
Well it's nice couriers can leave packages on doorsteps without fear of thieves in America! :)
Daveroux haha I need to get a camera doorbell
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner teehee :D
I have it it’s a great tool to have in The arsenal 👉🏻👍🏻
I've been using the Unger bi-level brush for everything lately and ... despite the occasional green hair that gets stuck in a frame here or there ... I always hit the frames with the brush and water first, followed by the regular window cleaning after, and I rarely have issues. Have you used the Unger bi-level before? What were your thoughts? I'd love to know how they compare to the Tucker brushes. I've never played with Tucker before on account of the high cost.
When are you going to make your custom watered pole??? That would be awesome if you did.
Chris Salazar 😏
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner do it!!!!!!!
Which rubber should i buy hard or soft ain't heard anyone talk about this thanks
where is you business located? are you working throughout the winter months?
Mubarik Hayat colorado, yes we work year around
I’m from London United Kingdom, I have a exterior cleaning business, let me fly over a do a weeks work with you 😂 I’ve spent a lot of time in madison WI and I didn’t think window cleaning was a thing as you all have nets over the windows
How much better is it compared to the tucker alpha brush?
Dreamchasing I would choose the boar hair alpha brush over it
I've been using the hybrid brush for a year now and I strictly do Residential would you recommend getting a full Boar's hair brush for residential?
vanderhoff66fu yes definitely get a full boar hair brush windowcleaner.com/tucker-alpha-brush?pt=MY and get this alpha version
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner thank you.do you recommend 12 inch or 18 ? I'm worried the 18in might too big because I do nothing but residential with smaller windows from time to time
vanderhoff66fu definitely the 12”
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner thanks again
What’s the y adapter and pad holder you are using? Can you share a link? Thank you sir, I appreciate you reviewing this...
Justin Weldon windowcleaner.com/xero-multi-tool-bronze-wool-holder-kit
It’s not a y adapter it’s just what comes with the bronze wool pad so you can connect it to your euro thread
I have to say I have never seen SteveO faking any reviews on tools he well tell you they suck or not😀😀😀 I'm staying with my 🐗🐗 hair brush 😉
Boar hair all day!!
Was that airplane just circling above your house?
Big Squeege' yes I couldn’t believe it when I was editing lol
Hey Steve, do you find any issues with oxidized frames and the boars hair brush holding some of that oxidation?
Garry Rosseter yes boar hair will naturally hold more dirt as well as maybe the oxidization too but I just rinse really well when I notice heavy oxidization
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner Do you always hold the brush off the glass when rinsing with bores hair? I remember hearing that years ago. We have only used nylon brushes but you have me thinking about trying some boars hair ones out.
Casey Anderson yes with boar hair I always rinse off the glass, boar hair collects dirt in the bristles so I suggest in the busy season to soak every couple weeks in water to get some of the dirt out, put always off the glass
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner Cool, thanks for the info!
This product is great as long as you dont hit the connecter on a frame and snap it off 🤦
Looks ok but $75
window cleaning right, I would say if you already have a certain brush that makes you happy and does the job right then I wouldn’t switch
