    TDS 0 40 should work find , I know most people will find that hard to believe I did too, until I was educated . In the beginning of my Window cleaning career I thought it always had to be at zero but I talked to a gentleman who made reverse osmosis systems. A plumber and he told me at Disney. They clean the big screens with 50 TDS, or less spot free

      Is this true brother because I'm in Asia and the price to buy a DI is superbly expensive with the conversion and stuff so I'm planning to built my own DI without RO membrane and stuff any thoughts?

      Get a TDS meter see what you’re working with first , see how high or low the TDS is around your Providence

      0-10 Ppm is what I recommend and from my experience. A TV surface I would say is different due to no one is looking through the screen like a window

    Hello.
    Question? Keeping this tank on a trailer (pressure washing) in front of a customers home. Would one need a 12v pump to boost the pressure if using 30-foot wfp? Also since the outlet is 3/4, could one use a 5/8 or 3/4 50/100ft hose then use 5/16 barb to maintain pressure and flow?
    Also, since I'm not finding information too much on this tank, how is the resin replaced?

    • @SteveOthewindowcleaner
      @SteveOthewindowcleaner  Месяц назад

      For Di tanks a booster pump is not needed, they are not restrictive so get good flow. I suggest using a 5/8" ID or 3/4" hose then 150' of 3/8" rubber hose like this on a reel windowcleaner.com/products/xero-portable-hose-reel-assembly?sca_ref=3020242.k17l3JaEgS then attach to 50' of pole hose

    I have a question. With traditional style window cleaning, is there a concern of the tbar scratching the window if there is dirt buildup on it from never being cleaned? If so how do you avoid this

    • @takingafatdump
      @takingafatdump 11 месяцев назад

      yes, but it’s super small. if you are super worried about it grab a hose and rinse the window first. but unless there’s like gravel or something on there you’ll be fine just mopping straight away

    • @SteveOthewindowcleaner
      @SteveOthewindowcleaner  11 месяцев назад

      Unless cement debris or something else abrasive gets in the mop then no, but on CCU cleans its always good to ring out your mop in case something got in it

    All I've been doing is using the waterfed pole hooking up directly to the clients water and putting soap on the end of my brush. Had no idea that if I had bought the system I wouldn't even need the soap
    I wonder why when doing it with the soap and the regular hose water I don't leave spots?

      I know I'm late to your question. I ran into the same thing. Now I send over a quote on Jobber, and had ChatGPT generate an agreement for me that basically says they agree to the work and to pay the price for the work once complete. I attach that agreement to the quote, have them accept and sign. Hasn't been an issue since
