It takes a bit for the RO membrane to fully saturate, so letting it sit overnight for the first time lets that RO get saturated and perform at its best.

Nope, just when the system is brand new or after changing the RO filter

It’s suggested to, it allows the RO filter to completely saturate. Not doing it can result in a higher tds reading that day if using it immediately

I prefer to remove all screens from the inside, while I also clean the inside windows.
when you are cleaning a dirty window, do you need soap or does the water do the trick?
With water fed there is no soap needed
Is it a big deal to saturate the RO with a 3/8” hose? I know you say to use a 5/8” or 3/4”. Just didn’t know if it mattered for the setup
the hose size doesn't matter but for operation in the field you'll want a standard 5/8" garden hose like this one amzn.to/3KOc7xa

Hey! The RO produces pure water and waste water, pure water goes up through the DI and waste comes out the bottom of the RO valve
