What a lovely challenge, and very versatile to accommodate lots of possible books! Perhaps I can join in for a few of these . . . Have a lovely reading year, Kate!
Oh how fun!! Usually these prompt challenges really are too specific for me or feel like more work than I want my reading to be. I like these prompts! They're specific but loose enough that so many things could fit them! Thanks for sharing.
Yay! That was exactly what I was hoping for! I hope you have a lot of fun with them.
I love this idea and I’m definitely going to participate! My goal is to read as much off my shelves as possible (hopefully at least 50 books since I just turned 50 😁) and I love to read seasonally so this just goes perfectly with that!
I love this idea and yes, I'm joining! I love seasonal reading and just pulled The Willows in Winter from my shelf this morning, so I'm already off to a great start! Thanks for offering the printable, too.
Yay Mitzi! Sounds like perfect timing.
I’m definitely following along with this challenge and will be posting more soon about animal books for May. 😊
Ok, this sounds delightful and I am in! I am definitely planning on reading lots more from my shelf this year.
I’m going to do as many of these prompts as possible! I want to be more committed to reading my bookshelf this year!!
Glad you're joining in, Darryl!
Happy New Year and happy reading to you, Kate, as well. I love these prompts, and I’m already thinking ahead to the many possibilities. I am so excited to start this reading year…thank you for organizing us and guiding us in our plans.📚💚❤️
Happy New Year to you! I hope it's a truly wonderful year of reading for you.
This looks great, thank you -- I will be joining!
Great prompts, thank you. I love to join and start from Feb.
I hope you have fun with it!
I enjoy your channel so much. I printed out the suggestions and put it in my 2024 planner. Yay!
Thank you! I hope you have fun with it.
Love your prompts what fun, im in!
This is my kind of reading challenge! So excited for this! 🙌🏻
Yay!! I can't wait to see what you pick for each month!!
Best wishes with your reading choices in 2024.
Very nice Kate!
🎉🎉🎉
This is perfect! I will be participating for sure!
Yay Sharon!!
Ooh I love this! Very on brand for you 😊
Glad you like it!
Sounds great. I will be joining in.
Awesome! I hope you have fun with it.
This is a great idea Kate! Thank you
I hope you enjoy it!
This sounds like great fun, and I'll be joining in. 😊 Also, a book recommended by you (Waterfalls of Stars) made it into my favorite books of 2023 video that I posted this morning. I'd love it if you stop by to watch it. Thanks for being such a lovely inspiration to all of us book lovers. 🥰
Kate, I love the simplicity of this challenge and YES I am going to do it. Thank-you very much. I am already reading a winter book...When Winter Comes
by V.A. Shannon. It's about the Donner party.
I'm so glad! Oooh that sounds like an absolutely fascinating read!
This sounds so so fun!
LOVE 💗 totally joining!
Yay Amy!!
Love the open-ended prompts!
I want to only read from my bookshelves (and some from the library) this year. And also slowing down my reading. I enjoy books most when I "consume" no more than 3 stories/subjects a month. So, hopefully, I can stick to that.
I hope you find a great reading rythym this year!
i really like this idea and am going to try it. I want to thank you so much for your recommendation last month for "Last Christmas In Paris". I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Happy New Year Kate! I feel like my goals are similar this year. I don't think I'll do many challenges besides Victober. I would just like to read whatever I feel like reading at the time. 😊
Happy New Year, Ash! I hope it's a truly wonderful reading year for you.
A wonderful idea to help me read what I have. This will be a fun challenge
I just started reading again this year and have been looking for a challenge and I love this one! I'm in!
I hope it's a wonderful time falling in love with reading all over again!
This sounds like a fun challenge! My biggest bookish goal this year is to mainly read off of my shelves. Other bookish goals are limiting my book purchases and reading the latest books in series getting them from the library. I just started listening to the Paddington series in December and it’s been delightful. I’m continuing this series too.
Yay! I'm glad you like it...So delighted that you are enjoying the Paddington series!
A great reading challenge that I think I will be able to do right off my shelves. I plan to join, which will be my first join to a reading challenge. Thank you Kate.
Wonderful!
This is a wonderful idea. And it can easily work with whatever else you're doing.
Enjoy!
This is wonderful! This is how I read 😊 so it’s perfect for the seasonal mood reader in me.
How fun!
This is a great challenge Kate. I will definitely be joining in. 😊
I'm so glad, Jane!
These is such a great, non pressurised challenge! I am such a mood reader and so I tend to disappoint myself by setting goals that I then can’t keep. I would like to read more Elizabeth Gaskell and Anthony Trollope in the coming year, though.
I'm glad you like it! You really can't go wrong with Gaskell and Trollope.
It sounds lovely! I will definitely be joining you!
Yay! I would love to know what you end up reading for this each month!
It sounds great. I’m definitely in!
