I understand that the "origins" of this PDW Razor Blaster are a little...sketchy, but being the ZWQ fan I am, I just had to try this blaster as it is the "Lost S300". In short, this is a "Boutique" Caliburn...and a good one. All the Credits for the qualities of this blaster goes to Anchew (Responsible for the Harrier, Seagull, S200, S200s, Baize and more) who design the thing and ZWQ who worked with him... PDW just manufactured it...that's it.

I got the "pro" version of the Razor from Black Raisins before I knew anything about its origins or how sketchy they are. Apparently they even claimed to have made a deal with the original designer, something which was refuted.
For the privilege of overpaying I got an aluminum plunger tube, one of their BCARs and a couple of GoS springs and barrels. They also painted the plastic half of the shell in brighter colors because the original release in China was all black and dark grey. And finally, they dremeled out the mag well. Turns out that with minimal effort it will take standard talon mags.
Credit that mine has a good air seal. With the weaker of the included springs I'm averaging 220fps. The stronger one was pushing 260fps but I haven't tested it in a while. Both barrel and spring swaps are more of a hassle than they should be. Other than that I think the Razor looks and feels great. Still up there for me as far as blaster designs go.
Anyway, I'm really enjoying this format.
You can mod the shroud with two little holes so you can access the barrel grub screws without taking the upper off. Spring swap is a little more annoying than it could be but it's not an issue for me personally.
Also the upper comes off much easier if you lift it a little at the back before sliding it forward.
Do you think with further tuning you could make it hit 300 fps?
@@Kannolias Easily. It'd break 300 with an 18kg spring. Mine does 260ish with 14kg and a 450mm barrel.
@@Kannolias With a stronger spring probably, but the prime would be stiff.
That's a real setback not seeing the talon mag fit without modification. ZWQ definitely has a way of making each blaster require proprietary mags.
With a proper seal, I'm sure this thing rips. For less than $200 you can finally get a blaster with some rigidity.

Remember... the Original Anchew's Design was Talon Fed and ZWQ uses their own mag... this one is made by PDW, that's why some of the finish is lacking a bit
As much as I think the ASMR is neat, I miss your voice. Rest, take care, speedy recovery.
I'll push myself into making the Mirage... Diction is not 100% perfect, but clear enough.

Very nice blaster. Seem if the seal is cleaned up and a stronger spring definitely will get 250 plus.

Yeah mine does 260-270 with 14kg and 500mm barrel.
Can you make just a simple xshot lock blaster rebuild? One of my springs got loose or something so I took the thing apart but in my ignorance I forgot that I needed to rebuild it.
Kind of fun having a new format for a bit even if it wasn't by choice. Rest up and get well soon.
Sounds like the leak is coming from the pusher! I've been thinking about getting one of these, will definitely wait for your full review later, as I' think it would only be worth it for me if it's relatively easy to mod to 300+
Oh it's a good one...I already have a bunch of parts coming for it. It's basically a good Solid Caliburn

@@thatoldnerfguy ment to ask for the internals are they the c4 or raguler versions? Im in Florida so my best option for parts is frontlinefoam and they have different versions of the metal internals.

Believe me, it's a caliburn... Just the same designer as the Harrier
I hate that its not talons out of the box
but an easy one to convert
@@thatoldnerfguy I got the Pro version which was pre modded but it looks like a 5min dremel job to trim some ribs and stuff.
Un autre qui a un magazine non-compatible.
Mais vraiment proche...seulement un p'tit shave du mag well et c'est fait. En fait le mag du Razor fit comme Talon dans tout mes blaster

@@bertrandmajorik6589 Evite...les trouble de trigger(misfire) sont vraiment present...et je ne crois pas qu'il aie corriger, Trouble de conception.
