I always tell him, if you conquer a Groud Zirax Poi like that, go close to the walls an always place a tent at the wall. Tents are amazing cheap. Also I tell him to keep at least ammo for one gun on the tool bar. I always tell him to stay cool, keep reloaded, health topped up and so on. I hope he NEVER watches this video of yours 😂😂😂 Love it 😂
@@resurgam_b7 If only the UCH had a trader. I have actually wondered why they don't. I guess it is a military vs civilian thing. Then you have to ask yourself if the colonists are UCH civilians, and if so, why they have a seperate classification. Frankly, it makes my head hurt.
I think RE allows for 24 solar panels, not just the 15 from vanilla Some blueprints take UP to unlock; probably why it came up short after handing in the report Hacking will also get some UP, I believe the Namir (sp?) data vault will give between 1 - 20 unlock points.

Wouldn't it be good to make base platforms then rip the core out, then dock a CV "Defence Tower" to it for ground troop spawn areas? Nvm just noticed this is a video made before the livestream :P
This is why I put my primary and back up weapon ammo on my toolbar @spanj, so I always have ammo for at least one of my weapons, during a corpse run. I mean... do you need to carry both a multitool and a laser drill on a combat run? You don't need the rations on your toolbar, thats 3 ammo types you can carry for your Energy Rifle, DC17 and Plasma Cannon..... incase you've got one of those camping Sentry Turrets.....

@@jons4917 Well as youtuber you have to make choices. Grinding materials for hours or playing with your child. I can live with that. But simple lack of upgrade points give a story, and stories you want to see in his video, not material grinding. I frequently use Godmode iv to get back to my corpse. As corpse runs are not fun at all. Especially if you lose epic weapons hard to get if you don't do it in 15 minutes. This whole de spawning of ships and loot and material from bases is mildly said annoying. But i personally do not cheat materials because there is plenty to get anyway. Spanj btw usually play with no depleting depots. Once a auto miner set = infinite spawn of materials. This is his way to speed things up, and i do not blame him for that.
probably too late now that youve built on the base for 4 hours on stream BUT im thinking if you just want extra walls around a base and its too far away, you can make them separate bases and just leave them unpowered so they dont get base attacks. then again base attacks are all just drones anyway so idk how much help walls would be unless you made them SO tall the drones cant even get in.....hey theres an idea. encapsulate the main base inside a structure of an unpowered base. would the base attacks ever be able to get to the base?
afaik you cannot encase a base in another base, tried it years ago and it wouldnt let me place blocks over the other base.. So the drones would actually jsut go up and over the wall. My idea with the wall is they will have thier own Geothermal power and shields anyway, I'll never need to turn them off and just keep their ammo topped off, enough guns on them to F anything that comes near em!

I would have totally "admin'ed" myself those missing unlock points (if that's even a thing?) ... And would have been totally fine with you doing the same 'on record'. You clearly got "F'ed" by the game.
But this is realistic :D Every shot a hit. Easy for a computer running billions of commands in a second. If these automated defenses ever find their way into Human warfare we are screwed. Right now its only Spanj.
In order to unlock heavy railgun turret schematics you need to unlock light railgun turret first.

Every epic build starts as a box... It's what u add to said box that counts.
All the undelivered cargo boxes in your inventory give points and cash when you turn them in and you had a few i noticed ;)
They need to be turned in at trade POIs though, most of which he is at war with the owners of 😆

your body may have over 1 radiations on it already. in which case you need to take a shower to wash yourself off. Then the suit can protect you.
TBH I waited for spanj to get the commander only to realize mission was not active. At least something went right.

Caves are not all bad. I've had giga caves with lots of containers full of gold coins. Not to bad, especially for early game exploration.
