For Geothermal: on a Frozen Inferno planet, you can put a base next to a promethium deposit and put down hydrogen extractors in the snow. It gives you everything to make hydrocells in one location and a self powered base. Doesn't look as good though
Asteroid Base: No air, water or trees... Lava Planet Base: No air, water or trees... lol. Although thermal power would be fun to play with, so the lava planet would be my choice as well.
Those bandit ambusher drones that you encountered at the distress call actually have bandit insignias in them, so they are worth going to loot if you ever encounter more :) Wow that space POI was a maze and a half 😆At least it seemed to have some reasonable rewards for your determined exploration! When you build your base, remember that docked SVs are not immune to base attack bombers, so be sure to park your vehicles under a roof 😉 Perhaps the Beir Defense has dirt fill blocks and those count as part of the POI? I've only ever tried to completely remove POIs once and it was pretty inconsistent, some disappeared immediately, others I had to take down two or more times before they finally went.
I've recently noticed on the RE server that I play on (HWS) has wrecks that are tagged in red and also lots of signals that dissappear when you approach them. Very strange.
Those orbital station POIs are really strange. I've seen mimicrys spawn in them aswell as the collection you saw. It definitely made me feel less rubbish to see you get as lost as I did too 😂
You found my base of operations :D That odd one. Turning it on after coring is no good idea btw. The T2 generators will explode. One of the never ever working designs because CPU is way over the roof. There are no CPU extenders at all. Wich may point to a elder design.
Took out one of those space bases in my last playthrough. Basically pummeled it with missiles until it cored. Was too far out to trigger any of the spawns so I don't know if the ones you are seeing are normal for it or not. Lots of loot though. I figured it was a large loot crate and nothing more.

Nope, that would be an Eleon issue and Revian and Vermillion aren't allowed to touch that, that's my understanding of the situation at any rate. It's going to forever be a broken, janky mess of a game.
@@michaelprost6130 You could be right, I am not 100% sure what Vermillion can and can't modify, I know there is a lot he can't change without Eleon's permission. Maybe RE2 will be better.

Uh excuse me, but you're supposed to be finding a hell 4g Planet to build your home base on. Please and thank you! It's you're last play through for RE 1!!! Make it more interesting with living on a hell planet, You are breaking bad anyway! You need to be in hiding from literally everyone, what better place to hide then on a 4g Hell planet! Nike says Just do it!
Have you tried to do anything on a 4g planet before? its really irritating. I dont think it would make it more interesting in practice unfortunatley, frustrating and ultimatley slow everything down. Kinda like the asteroid base, the novelty will very quickly wear off
@@Spanj well once you get your base down and place gravity generators everywhere so you can walk normal on your base it’s not so bad! To be fair though, I posted it before I watched the video. This is definitely a good alternative to the 4g lava planet. Was just wanting to see you struggle while building out of your ship haha
