  • Oriole Park at Camden Yards Walk
    Nestled on the edge of downtown Baltimore, Oriole Park at Camden Yards became the official home of the Orioles on April 6, 1992. The one-time railroad center is 12 minutes west by foot from the City's Inner Harbor and only two blocks from the birthplace of baseball's most legendary hero, George Herman "Babe" Ruth. The façade consists of brick with arches allowing Camden Yards to look as it has been part of the city landscape for decades. The majority of fans enter through the Eutaw Street entrance in centerfield, a street that once led into downtown Baltimore. This is a bustling area between the seating area and the B&O Warehouse. Fans can mingle, enjoy their favorite food or beverage, see plaques of legendary Oriole Hall of Famers and enjoy the sights and sounds of the ballpark.

    Great video! Love this park, not only because it’s my home team, it’s charming, friendly, timeless. The huge new stadiums lack the feeling of history and the love of baseball that this park has. Wouldn’t change a thing - it’s my happy place!

    I was an Os fan before moving to Maryland because I idolized Cal Ripken as a kid when I played little league. When I first went to Camden Yards it was truly just an amazing experience. It lives and breathes baseball. Love my Orioles, and Camden Yards is my favorite place in Baltimore. M&T Bank Stadium is #2, but still awesome.

    Great stadium. To buck the trend of building mega stadiums in 1992 was brilliant. Not an Os fan

    This is an incredible video. As an Orioles fan from Atlanta, I don't know if I'll ever go to Camden and see a game or if I'll just see them in Truist so this was a great video.

    Me encanta el parque de los Orioles, y
    sobretodo por ese mítico edificio que
    se mira al fondo, que aunque pasan
    los años sigue intacto👌🏟⚾️🧡🤷‍♂️👍

    I always find it odd seeing people wearing gear from teams not even playing in the game. Also I saw a dude in Yankees jersey and Orioles hat. That's just an absolute no no.

      Maybe they're just fans of the sport in general and want to support their favorite teams? I've been to plenty of games where I didn't have a dog in the fight. For instance, I'm a Phillies fan but go to at least 2-3 games at OPACY every season. It's my favorite stadium of all the ones I've been to. Over 30 years old and STILL one of the best in MLB.

    I don’t think it’s the best in the league just cause the arenas not as big other parks and the Jumbotron isn’t as big other that it’s amazing and I love it’s design

      Thats precisely why I love our park. Not to mention, until recently, OPACY had one of the highest capacities around. Meant to be timeless, not a flash in the pants sort of park.

      The park holds about 44,000, so it's still bigger than Fenway and some other parks.

  • @beavisandbutt-head3735
    @beavisandbutt-head3735 2 года назад +1

    Definitely NOT the best! It's a highly overrated tourist attraction/college kid hang out, that's all. The parks in San Fran, Pitt, St. Louis are much better.

      Literally set the standard for how modern ballparks were thought of, designed, and built during a horrendous era of mediocre multipurpose stadiums. San Fran, Pittsburgh, and St. Louis can thank Camden Yards because without it their stadiums would certainly be much different today. “Highly overrated,” get outta here.
