      Hollywood relied on connections overall. Actors/writers had to trained themselves to fit certain chosen criterias to get in. The ones with the best connections get the job. So the pool is small, the styles are few. Meanwhile the part for the onions can cast a wider net and because it is only a few minutes, the auditions are much more easy to select and perfected.

They've been a shell of their former operation for almost a decade.     The part where there's an imaginary news reporter on satellite is mostly true. These news shows have been known to use green screens to make them appear to be in another country when they're really in studio.
