I read a research study where talking to babies in "baby voice" is beneficial for their development. Especially if mom talks to them in the baby voice and dad in normal grown up voice. The variety kind of helps in brain functions i read it long ago so I don't remember specific details. Amazing video nonetheless baby is a born performer ❤

Babies and small children are sensitive to high pitched voice. It stimulates their attention. If you notice, when he did the baby talk the baby's attention slightly changed. High pitched also brings some comfort. Imagine talking to a baby like you were in a meeting or like you were having a serious conversation all the time...You don't have to do the baby talk all the time, but remember that is not a bad thing. It doesn't make babies dumber.😅

For what it's worth, I studied early childhood education, and talking to your baby in sing-songy baby talk actually helps them learn to talk faster; and the high-pitched sounds light up synapses in their brain. :) So please do talk baby talk to them.
