Hi Robin - Yes, this did give me a lot of cleaning motivation. I have added two new zones to my schedule and one starts on Monday so I will have to come up with a plan for what all needs to be done. One is my laundry room and my storage room (kind of like the one you have where your office in). I used to try to fit that in to other zones but it never got the cleaning it needed so I made it a separate zone and I am looking forward to really getting in there and getting things in shape. The other is my garage. I decided if I established a zone for that, if wouldn’t be that big of a job when I decide to do it. Will see how that all works out. I am looking for a canister vac. I have a Dyson upright that is so heavy to move around. Does yours use bags or what? Guess what? Last Thursday night about 8:00pm I was notified that I would receive my first dose of the Covid vaccine on Friday morning at 8:00am. It was a drive thru at our local mall. It was so well organized. To me when something is organized and has good processes and procedures it engenders confidence. This was that way and I never had to get out of my car. Second dose is to be in 28 days. Thanks again for the great video, my friend. Love in Christ.

Hi Robin, I had to laugh when you mentioned about moving the chairs off the rug and why you didn't think of that before. I'm glad I'm not alone. Towards the end of my teaching career there were several times I thought of something new and couldn't believe it took me so long to realize I could have been doing something better and easier all along!😂

Ok, I've watched you do this before..you move the chairs from around your kitchen counter to vacuum, move them back, then move them again to mop, why dont you leave them out until after mopping, resulting in only one move? Still love your cleaning videos to get me motivated😊😊
Haha Sally! It’s because I vacuum all the rooms downstairs then mop, but I like to mop the hardwood floors first, so I have to move the chairs back and forth. There maybe a more efficient way to do it, but then I would miss out on the arm toning exercise! 😂💛✨

I got tired of waiting for ecloth to restock the aqua spray mop so I ordered the regular one. We'll see how often I need to rinse the pads (I was using the Bona mop). Love my Miele. I watched some of your older videos the other day and I have to say, your filming and editing have really progressed. Your videos are nicely done Robin.

Great routine. Alternatively you can make a large batch of oatmeal with all the fixings. Pack into a container and refrigerate. When ready to eat slice off a couple and fry in butter. Learned that from Boss of the Swamp.

I would make sure you have some sort of furniture slider under the legs of your chairs so as not to damage your floors with sliding the chairs every week.

How do you like your Miele vacuum and would you order the same but in an upright versus canister version? I need to invest in a vacuum (my old one is beyond repair), thus I've been reading Consumer Report... to compare the "best" vacuum. Also, I like the bamboo cutting board that sits next to your kitchen sink. Was it a special order to fit your sink? Thank you for sharing
Thank you Brenda! I would definitely buy the Miele canister if I had to buy another vacuum. I love it and much prefer it over an upright vacuum. The bamboo cutting board came from IKEA. It’s a great buy! 😊🌼💛
I have a Miele canister and upright. I would say it depends on what flooring you have predominately. My upright gets used mainly upstairs where we have carpeted rooms. The canister is best for hard floor and area rugs. I much prefer the handle for accessory cleaning on the upright though. It stretches a long way and isn’t has bulky as the canister. I love both though and would buy another Miele if anything happened to them. They’re at least 10 years old now and run good as new. I replace the bags regularly.

I would make sure you have some sort of furniture slider under the legs of your chairs so as not to damage your floors with sliding the chairs every week.

How do you like your Miele vacuum and would you order the same but in an upright versus canister version? I need to invest in a vacuum (my old one is beyond repair), thus I've been reading Consumer Report... to compare the "best" vacuum. Also, I like the bamboo cutting board that sits next to your kitchen sink. Was it a special order to fit your sink? Thank you for sharing
Thank you Brenda! I would definitely buy the Miele canister if I had to buy another vacuum. I love it and much prefer it over an upright vacuum. The bamboo cutting board came from IKEA. It’s a great buy! 😊🌼💛
I have a Miele canister and upright. I would say it depends on what flooring you have predominately. My upright gets used mainly upstairs where we have carpeted rooms. The canister is best for hard floor and area rugs. I much prefer the handle for accessory cleaning on the upright though. It stretches a long way and isn’t has bulky as the canister. I love both though and would buy another Miele if anything happened to them. They’re at least 10 years old now and run good as new. I replace the bags regularly.
