What was your favorite part of this pantry makeover? P.S. Wondering where anything I mentioned is from? I’ve linked everything up in the description box, so be sure to check there first! But if I missed anything, just comment below and I’ll try to get you a link! 😘
I love those baskets. I've been eyeing ones like those at poetry barn but sadly I've downsize into a 148sq foot rental so no room for extra bins for me☺
It looks absolutely amazing. I love the glass square pots with the bamboo lids, so easy to use and very handy. And applause for Christofer for making the shelves. It is one great improvement 🤍
Love the white. It looks so fresh and easy on the eye to see everything. Love the natural colours of the containers. Great job guys I have remember you saying this was a task you wanted to do. Mission accomplished ❤
Wow! So beautiful. You just increased the value of your home exponentially! You guys work so well together too! P.S. I always enjoy watching you tackle projects. The finish is so very satisfying. Simply beautiful!
I don't even write a list of overstock items anymore. I take pics of each cabinet. I know where everything 'lives' so if something is missing, I know exactly what I need. Thanks for sharing your experience with the pantry upgrade. It really is beautiful ❤
The depth of your shelves is perfect. We custom built our house and I made our pantry shelves 30cm deep, but we have double sliding glass frosted doors so we can reach everything really easily. I love it. I had a deep pantry fir decades and hated it…. Trying to reach in for things we can’t see. I love the clear storage too, but personally prefer not to use wooden lids because they take on the smell of food in the container. I have a lot of containers like your cereal containers and also use glass preserving jars as storage for all our nuts and seeds etc. I also put clear shelf protector lining on the shelves so they don’t scratch. Love the baskets and really love the idea of the big basket for surplus storage - clever idea. Your pantry looks so organised and matching. Great job on building the shelving too!
It looks so organized! I'm going to go organize my pantry now... You and your hubby are so cute and work well together...my husband and i work well together too. We transformed the bathroom, our closet, an upstairs bedroom, and now getting ready for the back porch remodel. ❤
Love your pantry organization. For the overstock, maybe add a chockboard to the basket so it can be easier to know what's inside & add lights inside the pantry so it can be brighter. Love all your videos.
So nice and organized! Like all the backstock items together in a larger bin on the floor. All the containers look great together. Finding items will be a breeze with everything streamlined. Motivates me to get my pantry together!😃
This is so satisfying to watch and definitely an improvement! For those little square jars on the lower shelf that have nuts and dried fruit in them, I wonder if you can put some blank labels on the lids, and use an erasable marker to write what's inside, that way you can see what's what without digging through the jars, and easily change the label when you put something different in there. Also, sometimes when a painted surface didn't have enough time to cure properly, stuff would stick to it... I learned my lesson the hard way lol. I find a clear top coat helpful. I hope you're not having that problem tho! Great video as always.
Loved this remodel, you both did amazing work! It all looks so easy to grab and pleasing. I wish I had enough space in my kitchen to organise everything more neatly like this. I would love to hear how you’ve found the new back stock system over time, sounds so smart and practical!
Really beautiful. I love how in all your organisation videos you manage to make the inside of your cupboards look as beautiful as the outside, and that is something not many people pay attention to. I think the main crux of the problem with this pantry (not that it is actually a problem) is the rather narrow access. Maybe having a wider door would help in keeping the space organised for much longer.
Really like this video. Love the glass storage containers! Have you thought about putting a door rack on the inside of the pantry? It would double your space. I have a large one that goes almost the entire circumference of the inside of my pantry door, and it's invaluable in added space and function.
Great job.looks fabulous. ... I have clear storage now ...works so much better .. I sometimes cut the packaging that I got and just stick it to bottom...with with use by dates or cooking instructions. X
Looks wonderful. Great job! Did you remember to put expiration dates on the containers? That's one time consuming thing when decanting, but I love the look.
I know I’ve commented before that my husband plays disk golf bc I’ve seen Christopher’s basket before in your background, and today I see your smackin’ sunflower seeds that my husband also buys and loves! lol I’m gonna assume they would probably be friends 🤣
I love the video😊❤❤ That is so good idea, i love it, and love your personality too I was happy all the time when I saw the video Thank you so much for your hard work 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💕💕💕 Love it
😅😅 maybe it's the location or habit. We should all think of an ecstatic bin that can fit your recycle package boxes and bags. I've been wacthing your vedios for years now and I always giggle whenever you do a refresh in your panty/kicthen; you always have a large pile of plastic bags and empty package boxes on the pantry floors. It's like when it comes to organizing, you have to some times given into the natural habits that make life easier. If you're someone who unboxes mail in the kicthen than make a bin close by where you can shove all that recycle that's convenient❤
In Australia they have banned plastic bags 😢 I used to like using them for garden rubbish, bagging up things I didn’t need and wanted to pass to other people etc. But, there’s a really easy way to fold plastic bags so they can be stored easily….they end up being a triangle and about the size of a credit card. Then I stored the folded bags in a jar, so they were easy to grab but stayed neat. I think we all have had the battle of plastic bag storage at some point 😂
It looks pretty, but where do you keep your cans of food? You’re the first person I’ve ever seen who store the oils and spices in the pantry and Notting kitchen cupboards.
Looks very nice! I suggest putting some of the glass containers on top of each other to be able to see more. You’re doing a terrific job! Proud of home you like to organize! Did you put potatoes in the fridge? I was just telling my husband 20 min. Before I saw you video that I needed to clean out my pantry tomorrow as a draw broke and I will be switching things around.
That’s the plan! Hoping to either find or create some risers, so I’ll be able to see everything! And we actually used the potatoes, but going forward that’s the plan!
I'm late to the pantry party, but can I just say, plastic shopping bags are easier to store and grab if you tie a knot in the middle of each one. In Europe we don't have many plastic shopping bags anymore, thank goodness.
I only have one question. checking the items and the prices, just for all the containers and boxes and baskets it's already more than 400 Dollars. why is this called budget friendly? I mean I guess 400 bucks is still a "budget". But people who are looking for budget friendly videos most likely won't have such a budget, they have 400 Dollars to live for the whole month. Nonetheless, it's a very pretty pantry
@Amanda-yd2eyThis is so incredibly rude. Especially since she has mostly stuck to her minimalist nature. But like most people with a husband and new kid, lifestyles change.
Everyone should use their "back stock" first. You have decanted your food into air tight containers. Meanwhile your back stock is aging while sitting in a basket with a chip clip sealing it. Why bother spending the money and time?
All of the backstock items are newer (by several months) than what’s at the top of the containers, so it does make sense to use what’s in the containers first. That said I think there were only three or four total items that fit in that category. Most of what ended up in the backstock are either unopened items or extra bottles of things like soy sauce, olive oil, salt, etc.. so we should be good 🥰

The containers with your nuts and dried fruit etc are very satisfying to look at
You have a talented hubby that does that type of carpentry work. Also an amazing pantry for sure. A+ you could be on This Old House! ❤

Great makeover, so visual so nothing can hide.
That was the goal!

Beautiful job guys! Love everything about it! I’m sure I’ll use your shelving tutorial one day.

This is super well planned and done. Please do a weekly check in to avoid mess building up again. Its not easy but just try cos this looks amazing❤

It is amazing, you guys did a fantastic job! 😊
Awesome 👍🏻
You need some tiered shelves/rack for those square jars. Next DIY 🤔
Amazing makeover. The final result looks great and the organization is pratical.
Yes!! That was very much the goal. Form and function can coexist. 🫶
What a beautiful pantry! 💕💕💕
That's an incredible transformation! 👏🥳
16:00 absolutely loved hearing that baby noise ❤❤
Hehe he wanted to say hi the to vlog 🥰
Love the pantry 💛🤎🧡
I'd love to have a pantry of any size lol but that turned out soo good! I love it all! You did a great job!
Looks great. Love the pasta containers most.

Hey Ashlynn, not sure if you are near Asheville, NC. But if you are, I hope that you and your family are safe!! 🙏🏽
Doesn’t this makeover make your heart so happy?! Tons of work, but what a difference! Would love to hear how it works over time for you ❤

Girl, I would pay you cash money to come remodel mine!!! WOW! 😮❤
Looks wonderful. Great job! Did you remember to put expiration dates on the containers? That's one time consuming thing when decanting, but I love the look.
A very lovely day! Happy weekend and Ashlynne, this Sunday, I’m at Portland, Oregon for the first time!❤
Thank you and same to you, Ervin! Enjoy Portland!
You’re welcome, Ashlynne!
I know I’ve commented before that my husband plays disk golf bc I’ve seen Christopher’s basket before in your background, and today I see your smackin’ sunflower seeds that my husband also buys and loves! lol I’m gonna assume they would probably be friends 🤣
Haha yes!! I remember you saying that. I love it. Sounds like they’d get along great 😂🤍
I love the video😊❤❤

I was happy all the time when I saw the video
Thank you so much for your hard work 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💕💕💕
Love it
Beautiful!❤
So jealous of Handy ppl 😊
Nice! On your snacks container, I would label the cover to a faster access. You won’t have to lift them all to find the one you want.
Ohh that’s a good idea! Was also considering doing custom risers for them
Looks great and I would love to do this! We are not handy though. Lol!! I hope your family is safe from the storms.
Looks great!!!!!
Love it!!! 😍
Hi Ashlynne how are you happy Friday night and happy Weekend and this was amazing video I enjoy your channel and you are amazing supporter
Sooo satisfying ✨🤎

Nice ❤
Where are the vegetables that were on the floor and the bags? Do you not have any canned goods, tomato sauce, paste, beans, etc. Looks good.
They’re in the baskets on the ground! And no, we aren’t a big canned goods family. The occasional pasta sauce is that all we buy 🤍
I hope you are okay with the Hurricane going on ❤
I have white built-in shelving in my pantry. I need to clean and repaint those shelves and walls of the pantry.
Where did you get your shirt from?
💜💜💜💜💜
Where’d your cache of plastic bags go?
Recycled and planning to find another strategy for taking care of them going forward. Ideally one involving using more reasonable bags. 🤍
I only have one question.

Who is we??
I always wonder the same thing. She is by herself when she says it.
My husband and I in this case. I had lots of help on this project 😉

you guys are definitely not a minimalist in terms of snacks 😅
Well we use them for more than just snacks haha. All of our nuts and seeds end up in a ton of our salads and baking too. But yes, we love a snack! 😉
