GREAT review! We purchased it in August, and we also love it! We have yet to try the convection feature, but hopefully soon. I agree with the top oven kind of "overcooking." I now use the lower oven for cookies, etc. We used both top and bottom (simultaneously) for Thanksgiving, and it performed flawlessly! We had so many dishes in there! The only thing I don't love (not a deal breaker) is when you open the lower oven, the door will hit your feet ... resolution... stand to the side when you open the door so it won't hit the top of your foot. lol. - We also love the warming burner; I rely on it to help with the timing of serving when cooking multiple hot dishes; it is a real winner! Today, I noticed a chip on the edge of the cooktop glass... (bummer). I do not know how that happened; I hope the Warranty will cover this! Thank you for the review! It's a GREAT product, and we LOVE it!
We have the same oven and agree completely, that being said, still the best oven we have ever had. I think the stain on the inside is from liquids coming over the stove top and dripping through the vents behind the handle on the top oven. We cook a lot of pizza and alot of casserole. Curiously we almost forget the bottom oven even exists. But definitely agree top oven burns faster.
Thank you for your review. I'm going crazy trying to find the right oven! No one has a floor model in the store to look at! So your review was helpful. I'm concerned about the burning of food in the upper oven, as that's the one I plan to use on a more regular basis, so if it ends up burning food on the top, it wouldn't seem worth having a double oven... hmmm.... something to think about! Thank you for the link to the splash guard. We inherited crumbs and spills stuck in between from the previous owners. Now that we need a new oven, I can thoroughly clean it and prevent future spills!
Absolutely. The splash guards are super helpful. Before I got them we had a couple of sticky spills from the kids go down between oven and counter and I had to pull it out and clean.
We were happy that the house we just bought had this oven. Looked forward to doing a lot of cooking. But I can't figure out how to turn the oven on. The electric script says press "start" but there isnt a "start" button. Found the manual online but it doesnt communicate. Eating another cold dinner tonight!
Very good review, I just got an oven similar to this one but with only one door, the buttons are really hard to press, are your buttons feeling like a touch screen or you need to press hard on them?
They aren't that hard to press, but it's easy to miss. We turned off the button noise because it was annoying, especially when our kids were sleeping, so that can make it easier to not notice if you missed the button.
Thanks for your post. A small critique: the music in the background is unnecessary and drowns out your voice in parts. I haven't figured out how to turn on the oven; hopefully, it's not just a dud. The top came right on and works fine.
Ive read on different forums and comments on clean my space RUclips channel that you can take the glass out or something like that. Maybe somebody said you can take a knife or something of that nature and wrap a towel around it and stick in between the panels on a glass door and wipe it out...
Hello, thank you for this video, so from what I see in your video and the Comments we could say that the oven above is used more for Gratinating than for baking.
Actually I would say we haven't been having issues with the top oven recently. When I wrote the video early on after purchase it seemed to cook to hot, but that hasn't really been an issue the past few years.
We just got this to replace our LG. So far we hate it. The upper oven is a disaster, burns the bottoms, doesnt cook the tops. We use 90% the upper oven. The heat is very unstable for baking. Will probably return it.
Thank you for the review. Getting this stove in a few days!!!
Hope you enjoy it!

Great points. Yeah and if you hang hand towels on the top door the bottom door will pinch them when you open/close it. Minor gripe.

I totally agree! We are happy with it.

Oh, also, I read some reviews about the lower door hitting the floor. Has that been an issue for you?
Absolutely. The splash guards are super helpful. Before I got them we had a couple of sticky spills from the kids go down between oven and counter and I had to pull it out and clean.
I have not noticed that issue. We usually keep a kitchen towel on the bar so maybe it's dampening the sound. But I'll double check.
Waiting on mine to be delivered thanks for the information
awesome. Good luck!

Yikes, did you figure it out?
Does the bottom oven have the ability to do both convection and regular baking?
I have the double oven whirlpool but different model. The first time I use both ovens, Cancel button doesn’t work since then! Any recommendations?
Yikes. No haven’t heard of that. Any results from Google search?

@@poodledad tank you for taking the time to answer!
You Talked about the warm zone on the cooktop. I see where the warm zone on and off. It says to press start. What start?
For mine you hit the warm zone on button and then the start button on the lower right.

Great feedback. Yeah the background music is unnecessary in this one. Great tip.
Question on the small top oven. How many inches of height from the rack to the top of the smaller oven?
5.5 inches to the heating element

Where is the serial number location?
Thanks

Yikes! sorry to hear that. appliances seem like such a crap-shoot.
Yes
stains in window are from cooktop overflows. take it apart and clean it, simple easy.
You can take the door glass apart?
@poodledad yes it unscrews
"it's okay when it doesnt burn my food"
Ha yep. Though I will say we've had much better luck on the top oven. Maybe it was a break in period thing.
