Is part 3 where it gets expensive?
Dubai have very creative looking towers. Quite like the design of that maze tower. Interresting that Virgin Megastore still exists, have only visited the store in Paris once in 1998 on a school trip and I was quite impressed by it. They had cd’s and games everywhere. There where maybe one or two virgin megastores in the netherlands, but nowhere near me.
The Palm is just amazing!
That glass lift in the glass outer sky scraper looks amazing.
Love a good old Mr. Bushi lift
i luv mitsubishi sounds, so satisfying
Loving the binging noise at 7:18! :D
9:04 Korean thyssenkrupp, which is very rare.
EVTT Why are they rare?
the highest building in my city has 4.5m/s Korean ThyssenKrupps from 2020 and it is not opened yet
Love the bell at 6:43!
Also love the bell at 2:35 :D
I don't know if you remember me. But if you do, just keep in mind I do not spam like I used to. Ask Fails about it.
Come here to Abu Dhabi, I have few locations for Schindler Micnonic from the 80's and also some 60's mitsubishis. It was some building I cannot remember that had a ULTRA old Mitsubishi.
hitachi lifts look great.
What a lovely bell at 1:53 :)
10:09 A lot of exported Hyundai lifts have AUTO displayed too
How did you get access to these skyscrapers?
Some very intresting towers
The reason Beno calls Sigma Elevators Fake Mitsubishi is because LG and Mitsubishi had a relationship.
The bits are called potpourri, supposed to smell nice
9:36 Like the 1st 2 dictator portraits in N. Korea, they are prolly compulsory.
1:13 another Sigma (Otis Korea) lift. They hardly ever install lifts that go faster than 4m/s (They install 2.5m/s lifts in 50 floor buildings occasionally). Now 4m/s and higher from them is almost unheard off, they keep installing 1.5m/s lifts in 30 floor buildings.
Unless they get supported from Otis.
@@LEVCKSHK Actually the company keeps installing worse lifts under Otis. They used to have pretty okay lifts before acquired by Otis.
Actually, Otis Korea also used for some building in my country. The first one is the M Plaza.
M Plaza has about lots of floors but the guest lifts only serves B1 to 1. But the other lifts which takes you from G to Car Park Basement 3.
The office lifts is only for staff only.
hmmm i found a 1.6m/s on a 10 floor building....
4:34 WOW LOW PITCHED CHIME!! Where did you find that???
In UAE, Mitsubishi is famous.
Fujitec is Japanese company..
9:37 like N. Korea.
The clock tower is also currently the world’s most expensive building as it cost equivalent to 15 billion USD to build! :)
I just did some searching on Wikipedia. Turns out it is the Saudi Arabia clock tower, which is twice the height of the Dubai one. Saudi Arabia would be interesting to visit, but I am not sure if I want to visit the second worst dictatorship on the planet.
Beno
Also on top of that security would likely be extremely tight at the clock tower so getting in would be quite a challenge possibly also because of how to get past security you would need to find a back door entrance somewhere though it’s still possible that security would go after you as soon as they see you on the cameras! However you would also probably find my home city of Melbourne in Australia quite interesting to visit as there’s quite a lot of interesting lifts around here that I know of that you would probably be interested in! Just don’t surf the lifts in the train stations otherwise you might end up getting in trouble with the police especially the lifts in the three underground city loop stations as they have staff monitoring the cameras 24/7 and the lifts are in perfect view of the cameras so even though they would be great to surf it would just be too risky! :)

Also reminds me of the lifts in the IOOS building in Melbourne that my dad used to work in and the lifts in there were originally late 60s Plat Schindlers but were replaced in the late 90s/early 2000s with high speed 6MS Otis lifts that are extremely fast for the building size as it only goes from the basement car park up to the top 29th floor! :)
I remember too that the clock tower is in Mecca, where only Muslims are allowed to enter
Another sigma lift at 0:53 in the video
Hey Austin this is guys
no
10:30
Done or Dvmb?
How come the picture went wavy at 15:51?
Might be due to a mismatch in video frame rates?
@@lzh4950 Might be
8:33 TUV is everywhere in Dubai
9:10 again "fake mitsubishi".. umm.. It is a Korean ThyssenKrupp
10:04 Super rare indicator! These lifts are a modernization of old LG, even the voices and chimes are old. Epic find
why do u call older Korean lifts "fake mitsu" lfmao
9:10 looks like a Dong Yang lift (later bought by ThyssenKrupp)
4:43 beno is 😡
It’s a sigma not a fake Mitsubishi at 9:50 in the video I know this because I was born rich there
