I adore your art and your loose style. I’ve now watched several videos as a new subscriber, and I just had a play with your Bagel Brush set - it’s divine, thank you so much! I’ve also browsed through your website and I am now tempted to purchase Afinity Designer so I can do some of your courses. I’ve heard it’s a great tool for making planners and notebooks for Goodnotes, which is what I use. I know you have an archived course on this and I’m also keen to learn about pattern design so I can print my own fabrics for sewing my clothes. QUESTION: I’m wondering if purchasing only the iPad version will be enough for what I want to do? I’m also saving for a membership, but I have to wait a little bit and want to try your beginner Procreate and Afinity first before I jump in. Plus, I’m in a different time zone (Australia), so I’d miss out on the monthly catch-ups. Anyway, I’m a new fan who’s enjoying watching your channel. Thank you for all that you share.
@@rafaelaneumeister2052 So glad to hear that you enjoy the videos! The great thing about Affinity Designer is that it allows you to make patterns and planners entirely on your iPad!
You're welcome! Some of the gouache brushes I've created do vectorize well and add a bit of texture to vector motifs. But you do lose much of that gouache feel. To create an image that has that authentic gouache look, you'll want to stick with raster images!
