Ack! I swear you read my mind! I've been researching making coloring books in Procreate and then bam! my favorite teacher (you) publishes one on RUclips!
Love your tutorials. Thank you. A query regarding the size of your canvas (8.5 x 11in). The international standard size is 8.3 x 11.7in/210 x 297mm which are A4. I’m not trying to picky, I`m just trying to see what to set my canvas size at so I can sell colouring pages around the world :)
Thank you for sharing all your great info! You mentioned a link to your resources for getting cards printed, but I'm not finding it anywhere. Would you please point me in the right direction?
If you are selling these coloring pages as downloads (instead of using them as freebies) do you still put your name/info on each page or leave them unencumbered for the end user to call their own?
@@carengoodrich I think you could do it either way! If I was giving them away free I would probably keep my name on it, but if I was selling them as a book I would probably just have my name on the cover! it would be cool if people could frame their coloring and use them as art prints, so they would probably prefer to just have no name on it in that case.❤️
@@LizKohlerBrownthat’s what I was thinking. Thank you for answering. Your video was very helpful, I’ve had the coloring page idea in my head for awhile but you really helped pull it all together!
I watched this video on your website Liz but I couldn’t see how to ask you a question. I was just wondering how you come up with all your ideas for your illustrations. I’m stuck most of the time. I do look at Pinterest but I don’t want to copy anyone else’s artwork so usually Pinterest doesn’t work for me. Thanks

Hello, thanks for this video, it’s really nice and cosy to draw with you. I had a few classes with you on affinity and I was wondering : why don’t you draw the colouring pages on affinity ? Because you could manage the thickeness of the draw and having more smooth lines ?
Hi Helene, S0 glad to hear you enjoyed the video! I like to do all my raster based art (i.e. drawings and illustrations) in Procreate as it has a life-like feel from pencil to "paper". Affinity is great for making professional vector-based patterns, but it's not my fav for drawing!
@@LizKohlerBrown Thanks for your answer ! I was struggling drawing in affinity for making colouring book for children and then I saw your video, it’s a relief indeed ! I prefer also drawing with procreate. I don’t know I had this idea that colouring book should have a regular vector line.
