14:26 👋🏼 Hi!! I have a helpful hint about the issues with snapping in Procreate! Basically, the snapping function is “informed” by every layer that is underneath what you are trying to move. That’s why it seems to give you more trouble as you go along-especially when you are building a pattern where you don’t want to flatten your layers! If you make everything invisible except for the layer/group that you are actively moving, you won’t have that issue! Yes, it’s an extra step to turn everything off/on/off/on, BUT you will be much less likely to end up with the dreaded white pixel line when something hasn’t lined up correctly, which is always such a bummer when you’ve worked so hard on a pattern! 🤗
So glad you enjoyed the tutorial! In terms of the brushes, you can feel free to use them to create artwork for both personal and commercial use. The only restriction is we ask that you don't sell or give away the brushes or downloads themselves of course. Anything you create on your own device is fair game though!
Thanks for another great video! I was wondering where on the link page to enter an email address in order to get the Everything Bagel Brush Set--haven't been able to locate it.
When you click on the link, you may have to wait a moment for the page to load and you'll see a green box that says Get The Brushes. If you don't see that after a bit, I would try opening the link in another browser. Hope that helps!
@@LizKohlerBrown Thanks so much! I've left the page open for days and also hovered over various places, but just can't get the email box to pop up. I'm using Chrome.
@@user-cq1ht5vo4l that is strange! It seems to be working for others as I have people signing up every few minutes. I would try a different browser and if that doesn’t work you can email us at help@lizkohlerbrown.com and we will get you in. ❤️
@@LizKohlerBrown Thanks so much! Could never get it to work on Chrome, for some reason, but did get it to work with Safari :) Thanks again for your time and help!
I only work on my iPad so I don’t have any plans to do any Photoshop classes for now! You can still use the same steps if you know how to draw in Photoshop though. ❤
You are an excellent teacher!
Thank you so much!
Hi Liz, I'm Brazilian and your video was the best I've seen so far on how to create patterns. I simply loved it 🥰
Yay! So glad you loved this tutorial!
Hi Liz, thank you for such amazing tutorial using Procreate. You made it possible to understand how to start creating art as a healing therapy.✍
So glad to hear that this was so helpful for you!

Thanks for the tutorial. I love the brushes in the video. Can we use these commercially without restrictions? Or are they only for personal use.

I do not have an iPad or Procreate because of that reason, will you be making a system to be able to do this in Photoshop CC by any chance?
Do you have an iPhone? You can get procreate pocket for iPhone and there’s actually quite a lot you can do in pocket!
@@leah2300 No, I use an android. But thank you for letting me know that.
