This was my second time watching it so I could really focus and loved this. I hope you do more texture tutorials because this is where I struggle. Thank you so much. ❤
Do you have a video explaining the different types of fabrics in a collection (hero, blender, etc.) and the different arrangements of motifs in a pattern (half drops, linear, etc.)?
Hello Mel! I just have recently came across your videos and they are so inspirational! I graduated last year in graphic design and I wanted to get into pattern making! I have done it before and I enjoy it so much! I was wondering if you have a video or content that shares how you use procreate and illustrator hand and hand to make patterns. If so I would appreciate if you could point me to that content. Also, just wanted to share that you are very talented! You have a God-given talent my friend! Jesus loves you! ☺️
No not always as you'll get a nice texture depending on the type of fabric. I simple cotton I might leave it on, but a linen fabric, I'd probably leave off. It's worth printing samples first though just to check. I've created designs specifically for companies that print on canvas type fabrics and I generally leave any type of texture off those, as it just won't show up.
Thanks from Holland ❤❤❤

Mel, do you include the linen texture when the pattern will be printed on fabric?
