I added an action to add shadow and highlight layers, set their blending modes, put them into a folder and clip that folder to my flatting layer. Brilliant video!
For those that want to set shortcuts like the actions in Photoshop: Ctrl+Shift+Alt+K or File > Shortcut Settings > Setting area: Auto Action Select the action and click on Add Shortcut, then type the keys that you want to use as shortcuts. You can even use the F1 to F12, as well as combine them with Alt, Ctrl, Shift or all of them. I know this is basic, but not everyone would know that. So you can use the same ones you used in Photoshop in the same manner.
This is an awesome video! I hadn't really understood how to use auto action until now. I'm currently trying to figure out how to do one for animation, so I'm really glad I've found this video as well as your channel. Awesome job!
Scott Drummond Scott, being nervous with my new equipment, can you explain precisely what leads / adapters you use. I will need an adapter for a HDMI lead to my iMac.also why dont you write a book on using Clip Studio Paint. They are like rocking horse poop and hens teeth.
What are you going to turn into an Action?
probably stuff that has to do with animation or storyboards if i do get into that.

I am going to do this with my starting layers with blending settings: flats, shadows(multiply), highlights (screen), etc. Thank you very much!

Yup! I have a lot of actions set up for PS, too! I use Expand Selection > Fill a lot, since PS doesn't have that feature built in. Super handy!
