I recently picked this up for the first time myself and it is amazing! I agree, it’s just a very beautiful scent, I couldn’t stop smelling it on myself the first time I wore it. Definitely one of my top favorites ever.
Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille might be my all-time favorite fragrance. It's incredible. But I feel like it's a bit too formal, luxurious and attention-grabbing for my personality and style, so I don't think I could pull it off. It's sort of like tuxedo; I'm a casual homebody, I don't have many opportunities to wear it where it wouldn't seem out of place. I'm considering to pick up a 10 ml bottle for special occasions only. Instead, I use Mugler Cologne Come Together as my everyday "signature" fragrance, Prada L'Homme for the office in the summertime and Dior Homme Intense (which reminds me a bit of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille) for the wintertime. I also enjoy the Escentric Molecules line, especially Escentric 01, Molecule 02 and Molecule 04, which are great for layering.
I bought this on a cruise ship in December 2021. About 200 dollars or so for the small bottle. It's VERY strong. A little bit goes a long way. Love the smell, but I am just never sure when to wear it. I feel like I can only wear it in the winter or maybe when I am in a suit. Sometimes I just smell it without putting it on...makes me happy!
TBH, sometimes I don’t know half of the words he uses to describe a fragrance. I just like hearing his opinion and love the world he takes me when doing a review.
I have a fresh bottle of this one just waiting for the weather to be cold again. I am wearing a Costa Azzura (Private Blend) this summer thanks to your review, James ☀️ 🛥
Thank you for this review on Tobacco Vanille, I’ve been on the fence because I always wear Oud Wood.. but also in love with Tobacco Vanille .. I think you just helped me make my my up!! THANK YOUUU
Just got my bottle of Tobacco Vanille today, it's my first Tom Ford. only a 30ml bottle but it will last a fair while because it's going into my winter rotation this year. Beast mode projection and performance. Certainly wont need many sprays, 2 or 3 on the neck and that will be sufficient opened the packet before, pulled that gorgeous bottle out and sprayed one single spritz of it on my wrist and I have virtually a bubble of this around me. After about an hour once it settles right down I found its actually very similar scent profile to Bulgari Man in Black (that's definitely the tonka coming through). More sprays will amount to a stronger tobacco scent so I will now wait for a cold morning and spray 3 on the neck and give it a full day. Love it. so masculine and doesn't apologise for being an animal. Treat this one like Sauvage Elixir, the colder it is, the nicer it will be.
This one won me over after one day of wearing it. Perfect blend of spice & sweet tobacco. It performs well and holds up for the entire day. This will be the perfect fall scent
No kidding, it lasted 12h-16h on my skin. I put it on before heading out on a warm, humid evening. Could smell the fragrance on me the next day when I woke up. Crazy
I didn't care for this one initially. Thought it smelled like some type of potpourri or a vanilla chai latte. But I hadn't worn it properly. Only tested it on my hand. During the Christmas holidays (very cold weather) I gave it a proper wearing and now it's a staple in my collection. Love this stuff.
@@AM-bm9rs Sorry for the late reply. RUclips doesn't always notify you when someone replys to a comment. In short, it smelled nicer because I dressed nicer and wore it at the appropriate time. Instead of trying it on my hand or a card in the August heat, I put on a few sprays in December (40 degree day) with a dressy casual outfit and top coat.
@@Tyronieus I live in a hot humid country, it smells like milk + spices. I don't know how it would be in a cold weather since there's only warm weather where I am. @@mikeprice8307 To be honest after using the bottle for a few months, I would probably take some marks off it from my previous review. Only because I find that it lacks longevity, I wore A LOT of it at a racing day in Ascot in October and after half an hour literally, no one could smell it on me. I tried this a few times with liberal sprays and found that it disappears very quickly (Tbh, a lot of people are complaining about this with Tom Ford perfumes recently). I would also take points off as well but this is down to my personal opinion, is that I think it needs a Boozy note to complete the fragrance. It is based on the concept of a Gentleman's club, and no Gentleman's club I know goes without booze and smells more like Christmas Pudding! I think the marketing for the perfume is wrong because as much as I don't think it's a bad perfume, I don't think it smells anything like a Gentleman's club!

Tobacco Vanille is not for everyone. You'll need to wash it off before you can enjoy the smell. It's too strong and overcoming. It's so strong that it almost smell like coconut, vanilla, pineapple & tobacco, almost to where it's clashing. For me this smells best the day after.

ؤ اله يا خية يا حبيب انك مذوق و شرحك عن العطر احلى من العطر اكيدة العطر كتيرررررررررر حلوووووووو و يالي ما عجبو العطر ما بيفهم بالعطور 🌹❤🌹
What was your hair like when you went to Australia...like that shirt BTW.
Big quiff!
Smells like Christmas time in a bottle with a very slight cherry note
how does this fragance has so many positive feedbacks? I just bought a decant and I did not like it at all. It smells like medication.
Beautiful fragrance that stays in my nose after a close sniff off my wrist!
I love your style. Greetings from Glasgow
THank you. Love to Glasgow.
I ❤️ Tom ford tobacco vanille❤️❤️
I smelled this off a gentleman outside Harrods recently. Instantly recognisable. He smelled like waffles.
Hellooo Robin, nice shirt n looking awesome, cheers
Thank you
Not the biggest fan of Tobacco Vanille .
I do like Phaedon Tobacco Rouge though.
I am a fan of many other Tom Ford frangrances .
Yes, I've heard of this one from someone else here. Need to try!
I was curious about when you were gonna do this review! Also that's a fantastic shirt. What's the brand?
Glad you wanted it. Shirt is Zara.
@@ManForHimself Thank you for letting me know!
@@DakotaSmith000 hey did you find that shirt ?
@@abhinavthatipally9532 Yes and tons more of shirts that look amazing
@@DakotaSmith000 can you please provide the link of that same shirt ?
Thank you.
Watched this to get a better idea of another cologne that is inspired by Tabacco Vanille called Villain by Pete and Pedro / Alpha M. I loved your review better than other reviews. Villain is supposed to be just different enough not to be called a unisex like this is.
I do have 2 unused new bottles of tobacco vanille if anyone is interested, i will be willing to part with it in half the price.
For gods sake robin, why did you have to put it in your holy grail, now I HAVE to buy it 😩 💰 💰
Waiting on my bitter peach 🍑 to arrive!
Let me know how you get on!
