looking forward to play FF9 remake, Sakaguchi the creator of FF also said its his favorite game and Uematsu said its his favorite soundtrack, that game simply has something even other FF games of the golden era up until 10 lack...
I don't expect it to be released this year, but since this year is it's 25th Anniversary, I hope to see a reveal trailer at TGS. I'm not holding my breath, though.
While I'm expecting it to be largely faithful, I hope we get some expanded content or bonus dungeons.
IM so curious about hte art direction and style theya re going to choose. will it be 3d like a remake? or something not as developed and more old school? so many questions. I think i will enjoy it either way. its been 20 something years since i played through it.haha as most of us.
i dont think we will hear anything about the remake untill after final fantasy 14 expansion releases
That would make the marketing for the game very tough when they have to reveal this weekend, then have about 3 promotional trailers and a release date before the end of March 2025. I'll wait and see approach for that
Midori said it’s possible did not say it would. Regardless you can do marketing within 4 months of launch if not less. This isn’t a AAA project like Rebirth so they aren’t going to put tons behind marketing.

I Never Play Final Fantasy IX 9 of the Original only other Final Fantasy Games by Square Enix we don’t think or believe that there are gonna be a Final Fantasy IX 9 Remake for PS5 PS4 next year or in the Future it up to Square Enix Developers and Publisher of their Company.

Square hasn't made one in YEARS and that used to be what they were known for. FFIX is more of a PlayStation game. Not sure why they would decided to reveal it at an Xbox event. Even Nintendo makes more sense.
Don’t you see Sony is on different time now they don’t care about anything but live service and certain companies are probably gonna distance themselves from them and rightfully so. 👀
@@kenshin391 it’s not just Sony, successful live service games make more money annually then most AAA games, read somewhere recently that Fortnite has made more money then every Sony AAA single player game combined. Don’t quote me on it but it’s the future and it’s killing AAAs. At the end of the day it’s a business and they aren’t making games for fun. They are making them for profit and shareholders benefits.
@@kenshin391 They are focusing more on live service game but still they align themselves with 3rd party single player games. Dynasty Warriors, Silent Hill, MH Wilds, MGS all showed up at a Sony event. Given FFIX has a history with Playstation, it’s strange that they would show up at others.
You talk like this is a certain thing but SE has not mentioned it, no leaks or nothing.
Maybe set the expectations very low, until we at least know for sure it exists.
If you want 100% certainty on any game announcement you follow the main channels. This is a report from Midori a reputable source that has proven themselves so I treat them as such until proven otherwise.
We also KNOW it exists based on it appearing on the Nvidia leak that has had multiple confirmations that continue to happen.
Reporting on this stuff is double edged. You report it and you have people who respond negatively and even when it’s right those same people take zero accountability and give zero credibility to the people who reveal this info ahead of time.

I'm sorry but FF9 Remake is NEVER going to appear at an Xbox event. It's just never going to happen. The stuff at the Xbox event will like be Mana and possibly Dragon Quest HD2D and THAT'S IT. I get that Square is going back to multi-platform and that it might be an IMMEDIATE change but FF9 Remake is NOT appearing at an Xbox event. End of story.
That's all I have to say. The KH fandom is in-fighting after the announce of no KH4 at SGF just so everyone knows. XD
lol Kh4 will probably go MIA for another year or so if not longer

Am I the only one that wants to see a full scale remake along the lines of FFVII. The story is so vast and deserves that. Also I will be disappointed in any graphics that are not similar in style of FFVII.
