      Can you use talisay extract instead of Indian almond leaf?

    My betta doesn't seem to eat. And not very active. The tank is 5.5 gallons. Has heater water temp stays between 72 and 80 degrees. He now has a new friend a black Molly. They Molly seems to be active and eats alot. It has a sponge bubbles filter. And I tested the water with 5 in one test stripes and looks to be good.

      If your betta is not active its might be sick or ill because your saying it doest eat i would suggest to use aquarium salt and treat it use a bowl pour water and add some of aquarium salt and let the fish in it for a few minutes okay?then add of medicine that your specialist gave u then try to interact with your betta always

    Hello friend! So I have a crowntail betta fish named Tanji I had recently gotten from a friend of mine, I have done some research and gotten him a 10 gallon tank with some plants and substrate. Before I gotten him he was in a 1 gallon tank and looked a bit stressed. and unhappy. A few days later when I had finally got him he looked pale and I think has fin rot, shows little movement when swimming (only sticking to the bottom), and whenever I check on him it when he trys to swim he does it by the side sometimes. I have tried to see what I can do to help him and some sites say epsom salt baths or some types of products to use when a betta fish is sick. I'm hoping you can help me or if anyone knows what to do and have any advice I would really appreciate it. Please help.

      Isn't it swim bladder disease? If so, the only way to cure is by doing a surgery or there are a number of ways to reduce stress in him as this condition makes him prones to get stressed

      Swim bladder disease is reaction to high ammonia. 20% water change. Broad spectrum antibiotic and some treatment for fish with aloe to replace slime layer and promote healing

    Hello! I left my betta alone for 5 days cause I was on vacation and I found him pale with stress lines when I came back. He is swimming and eating normanly. Will daily water changes help?

    • @bettaedu4392

      Obviously, Yes! Be sure to use the clean & free chlorine water, adding some pieces of Indian almond leaves and salt will improve the quality of the water as well.

    • @bettaedu4392
      @bettaedu4392  2 года назад +1

      Apply aquarium salt or epsom salt, it helps to neutralise pH level otherwise you can use a little bit of baking soda to raise the pH

    Hi ! My male betta fish is about to turn 7 months old .. for the last 2 days he is super inactive and not eating food and not even coming to my finger like he used to.. I noticed in the past week there was many leftover food and tank was getting dirty super fast so i noticed i was overfeeding but now I stopped and I cleaned his tank multiple times after knowing and he was normal but it's been around weeks now and now he is not normal .. his fins are closed and I don't know what to do about it.. could it be the water temperature??? How can I fix the issue?

    • @bettaedu4392
      @bettaedu4392  2 месяца назад

      Sometimes water temperatures could be the issue, check the temperature levels, if you find it too low, use a heater to adjust the temperature and try to place a piece of dried catappa leaf

      In some conditions like stress, their color will change drastically, but for a long period there is a color mutation process in betta fish.
