@@bettaedu4392 By 1 cm, I mean 1 cm from the betta back to water surface. You only need to keep the betta in that for maximum 1-2 week, so it will make more recovery than stress for the fish, and I bet the fish won't find it fun to struggle to the water surface with a damaged bladder anyway. And yes, I have just cured my betta fish with the same method. The fish only took 4 days to recover. I can upload some video later if you like.

@@bettaedu4392 in the video, I already added a bit more water. Actually, I reduce the water even morẻ so that the betta could only barely stay up right (almost no water from its back to surface). I don't recommend reducing water that much though because that can affect the betta's slime coat making other disease. I did that because the condition of my fish was so severe. Hope this helps.

Great, so yt deleted my first comment with the link. So to answer your question, the fish already had the disease when I bought him, and it got worse when I fed him too much for about 1-2 weeks. Now I reduce the ration, but feed many times instead.

For betta purpose, better to use the ones without iodine: sea salt.

hey, you're not supposed to put betta fish with other betta fish. they are called fighting fish for a reason, they will literally kill each other.

Still the same, change the leaf at the same time when you change the water in the tank.

Apply aquarium salt or epsom salt, it helps to neutralise pH level otherwise you can use a little bit of baking soda to raise the pH
