I know that this is kind of late, but there were 6 Resident Evil games released for the GameCube. Resident Evil 0,1, and 4 were all brand new for the GameCube. However, Code Veronica X was a port from the Dreamcast's Code Veronica. There were also ports of Resident Evil 2 and 3 that included improved graphics scaled up to 480i from 240p on the Playstation. The Dreamcast also had ports of 2 and 3 very similar to the GameCube but included a lot of extras and you could see your character's life meter on the VMU. I heard another RUclipsr talk about how he picked up the GameCube back in the day just because it had almost all of the Resident Evil games on it (excluding PlayStation exclusives like RE1 Director's Cut, Survivor, and Outbreak)
Many of the games on this list are uncommon not rare. Also Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes DID sell well as it became a Player's Choice. Surprised Gotcha Force wasn't on here.
There's a variety of "unofficial servers" for Phantasy Star Online - meaning if you know the right IP addresses you can still play online quite happily. Some of those servers still develop new quests as well - which means there's still new content coming out for the game - although for the console versions they are limited to utilizing what is available on the disc (so no new enemies or altered drops) The non-Plus PSO game isn't exactly hard to get a hold of either - I've got 3 copies. 2 of which I bought from mainstream gaming shops and the third I grabbed from a charity shop for 2 quid a few months back.

I mastered every level in DDR: Mario Mix. Very Easy-Super Hard(except Super Hard "Bowser's Castle") Got two boxed dance mats, bidding on both, sold one of the boxed games back, kept the dance mats. Just to let you know Pokémon Box was also released on a 2-disc set with Pokémon Colosseum. Not sure if that in itself is rare and valuable but since it was my first gamecube game I didn't think much of it and just thought it came with the game, only learned it was kinda rare a couple years later. Also used copies of Digimon Rumble Arena 2 aren't that much second hand. My brother picked up a copy of it around a year ago and it was only around £5-10 ($8-17) on Amazon. Nice video though!

Holy hell, I got DDR Mario Mix for about 10 bucks at GameStop around 2011 and I still have it. But it's just the game itself with case, cover and disc but no dance pad. I'm unsure if the instruction booklet is with it but I'll have to check.

I would say that RE2 on Gamecube is even more rare than CVX. Everyone knows that RECVX is uncommon already which that alone makes it more common. RE2 isn't as famous for being hard to find which makes it even less common to see.

I think you need to re-think your list sir. Gotcha Force, Mega Man X Collection, Fire Emblem, Skies of Arcadia, Pikmin 2(going up and up), and a few others are more rare and expensive than a few of the games you got up here. Also, I think you got confused with the difference between FPS and top down shooters. Ikaruga is a Top Down 2D Shooter.

Anyone!?! I need help please!! I have come across a copy of Super Mario Strikers for the GameCube but this copy is a “Not For Resale” one. It is I believe Canadian in origin. I have found 1 image of a GameCube Console bundle with Strikers. It was called “Super Mario Strikers Super Pak” but NOTHING else! Can’t find 1 single copy sold or for sale online anywhere and it’s driving me nuts! Is this super rare? Please any help would be sincerely appreciated more than you know! Thanks! I am surprised there is no mention of Gotcha Force. I picked up the game on clearance from Amazon a few years back for $12 and change. And not it seems to go for an insanely high price. Seems not that many copies must be out there. Few people I know have heard of it, and less have played it.

This video is chock full of bullshit. Let's break it down. Ikaruga isn't a FPS, so why compare it to FPS games? Do you not understand the difference between a shooter and a FPS? Pokemon BOX isn't a game, it is a box. An empty box to store GBA games in. Why on earth would you include this on a list of "games"? If anything, it is a peripheral, but really it should just be considered a collector's item. Not a fucking game. Cubivore isn't nearly that rare. I've worked several years both in Gamestop and in a small local chain of game stores called Game Haven in Knoxville, TN. Over the years I've seen Cubivore come and go quite a bit and it was usually sold for about $20. It was not produced as a limited run, either. The fact that Fire Emblem isn't on this list at all really makes me scratch my head at how you're defining "rarity". Resident Evil did NOT have only four titles on the Gamecube. There was Resident Evil REmake, Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil: Code Veronica X. That's SIX titles. Star Wars Jedi Outcast is not rare in any way, shape or form. Gotcha Force is WAY more rare than NCAA 2k3, although that game is indeed rare too. Expensive does not equal rare. Sometimes games are expensive because they are GOOD, and popular. That means people keep them more often than selling them, making the market smaller, but not affecting RARITY in any way. Rarity refers to how many copies EXIST, period. You really need to understand this point.

Gotcha Force is so rare, everyone seems to even forget about it. It's also one of the best GameCube games ever released in my opinion. Most bad reviews come from "experts" that have maybe played the game like 1 to 3 hours and didn't quite grasp the concept of the game.
Hm...I don't know about this list. There's a lot of rare Gamecube games that I'm surprised didn't make it. The Zelda OoT Master Quest disk? You only could get it by pre-ordering Windwaker. I was so fortunate to come across this used at Microplay years ago and it's never left my collection. The Zelda Collector's Edition? Even Nintendo acknowledged this game's rarity, since it was only packed in Gamecubes that were sold after it had already launched. (That's also when I got my Gamecube, so I got a copy!) Maybe not so much a rare title, but a hidden gem that's pretty sought after: Eternal Darkness Sanity's Requiem? And Fire Emblem's still really expensive. And what about Melee (the non-player's choice version)?

These lists are OLD As of Feb 2016, cubivore is the rarest GC game of all time. Only 5-8 copies between ebay and amazon total. And a scratched up disc only will cost 120$+. New in box 400-1000$ All other rare games like twin snakes and the ones you listed are easily 50-150$ range only.

Phantasy Star Online is still playable online via private servers that only require you to make a DNS change on your gamecube network settings.

Anyone!?! I need help please!! I have come across a copy of Super Mario Strikers for the GameCube but this copy is a “Not For Resale” one. It is I believe Canadian in origin. I have found 1 image of a GameCube Console bundle with Strikers. It was called “Super Mario Strikers Super Pak” but NOTHING else! I am surprised there is no mention of Gotcha Force. I picked up the game on clearance from Amazon a few years back for $12 and change. And not it seems to go for an insanely high price. Seems not that many copies must be out there. Few people I know have heard of it, and less have played it.

Pokemon BOX isn't a game, it is a box. An empty box to store GBA games in. Why on earth would you include this on a list of "games"? If anything, it is a peripheral, but really it should just be considered a collector's item. Not a fucking game.
Cubivore isn't nearly that rare. I've worked several years both in Gamestop and in a small local chain of game stores called Game Haven in Knoxville, TN. Over the years I've seen Cubivore come and go quite a bit and it was usually sold for about $20. It was not produced as a limited run, either.
The fact that Fire Emblem isn't on this list at all really makes me scratch my head at how you're defining "rarity".
Resident Evil did NOT have only four titles on the Gamecube. There was Resident Evil REmake, Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil: Code Veronica X. That's SIX titles.
Star Wars Jedi Outcast is not rare in any way, shape or form.

Expensive does not equal rare. Sometimes games are expensive because they are GOOD, and popular. That means people keep them more often than selling them, making the market smaller, but not affecting RARITY in any way. Rarity refers to how many copies EXIST, period. You really need to understand this point.
First of all, I don't think you researched anything before you typed this. Pokemon box is a GAME that comes in a case. It's not a box for GBA games. You use it to store Pokemon from Pokemon GBA games. How about doing research next time around

Gotcha Force is so rare, everyone seems to even forget about it. It's also one of the best GameCube games ever released in my opinion. Most bad reviews come from "experts" that have maybe played the game like 1 to 3 hours and didn't quite grasp the concept of the game.

The Zelda OoT Master Quest disk? You only could get it by pre-ordering Windwaker. I was so fortunate to come across this used at Microplay years ago and it's never left my collection.
The Zelda Collector's Edition? Even Nintendo acknowledged this game's rarity, since it was only packed in Gamecubes that were sold after it had already launched. (That's also when I got my Gamecube, so I got a copy!)

Are you for real?! I actually own Mario DRR. I love playing it with my family. Still have the dance mat and case and manual. The story plot is not the best Mario story plot ever but great party game.
