Adam Finneran - Gotta admit that Sam's good. But "Girl on Swiss Roads" does it for me. Plus I'd rather go down on her than Sam. Which I wouldn't... Ever!! :-))...
Let me share my story with you all, I was in a great debt after I lost my job, I had about $30k bank debt, and I could not pay back. So while reading a finance blog, I saw a comment about someone talking about how he got western union MTCN of $7,000 several times from Deepwebservice01 @ gmail com, I emailed them, and placed order for $5000, and I picked it up successfully in my name without any traces. I continued working with them until I moved to the richest neighborhood in my city.
LemonJelly360 pointless though can look at thousands of nicer edits of cars done by professionals for actual TV channels, that’s what him and jww don’t understand lmao people watch RUclips for the people behind the camera
WJB Why is it pointless? This is a creative space for content creators to express themselves. It is an evolving platform and audiences are looking for quality, not just a talking heads video filmed on an iPhone. Those have their place too, but it isn’t a universal approach for all content.
video editing looks fantastic... I honestly think that you have reached top gear/grand tour levels of production quality without being tooo scripted ... keep the content coming. :) best automotive vlogs. better than anyone from usa, uk, europe and Aus.
@@seenthroughglass Hey sam I have sent DMs on your insta page already about visiting Pakistan and driving on its Karakoram highway in north Pakistan. It is the highest paved road in the world. The content will be fabulous. Porsche has a good support network in Pakistan and you won't have a problem. It is very peaceful too. Don't worry about the media hype.
Sam, as always great video ! thanks for that HORSES near the end, a BIG thumbs up for slowing down early enough, not accelerating 0.5 sec after you crossed them, and giving the situation your full attention. I wish all drivers did this... spread the word ;) greetings from a long time subscriber from Geneva, Switzerland
@@sergeikozitskii4426 Such an ignorant statement. Clarkson says that as a joke. The 911 is not based off the Beetle and the differences are an extremely long list, even in the earliest of models.
7:02 Somewhat ironically, most of us who track fairly frequently actually prefer the stock iron brakes over the carbon ceramics. They’re just as good if not better once you experiment with aftermarket track-focused pads, and the replacement cost is much, much cheaper as Sam mentions. Only true advantage of the carbon ceramics may be reduced brake dust and therefore cleaner wheels (and being able to show off your expensive carbon ceramics at cars ‘n’ coffee 😎).
I guess so, to en extent, some people must be like that. PCCB will retain closer to maximum performance for a good bit longer under extreme use, like on track. (If you want to risk a possible early replacement that is) The big one though, for a road car is the weight. So much less unsprung weight, so the car feels more nimble and responsive. Damping and handling feel a little more polished on a B-Road. This side of PCCB is way more important to me.
Welcome to Porsche club. I would have gotten the manual. PDK is amazing, but rowing gears makes the experience. Onve you own a 911 you will always want one in your garage. Not the fastest cars, but the driver connection between car and road is spot on.
Spot on with every point you make about the T. Having owned and driven one with the same spec as the yellow one in this video (but with steel brake) for four months now, your review here captures the essence of this sports car. It’s the drive.
I genuinely think that a Porsche with all yellow details as in brakes, seat belt and stitching make it look soo nice. Imagine a black GTS or GT3 with manual, black wheels and yellow details omg
I stil find it funny how I suggested a 911T with foldable seats in the verry first '' around the world car test''. Now I can' t wait to see what content will be coming over the next year. Thumb up!
@@seenthroughglass I also remember that in one episode from behind the glass you and Tony really did not understand the 911T ans kind of made fun about it. How do you and Tony look back on that? 😂
Sam the PCCBs are a great option. I have them on my 911 and on my Boxster which I just sold and I wanted them on my new Boxster but couldnt find one. However to replace them it’s much more than £6k to Replace the discs. More like £3k each corner. And driving a RHD car in Europe on the other side of the road is simple. Takes 30 minutes to get used to it first time.
Brilliant opening sequence, nicely edited. Great car and really nice (clever) of Porsche UK to loan you a Carrera T. Wish they’d loan me a Cayman. I’ve even waiting an age for mine because of these daft new EU emission rules! 🤨
Hi Sam, another brilliant video, great idea to familiarise yourself with the car. Hooray 'T' Shirt arrived - hope you have the time of your life, looking forward to the awesome content :)
That's really cool of Porsche to let you use their demo unit, so you can get use to the car. I really like a manufacturer has taken the time to do that.
I dare you to keep your 911T for 200,000km or more! Treat it like most would a Fiesta or Golf. Would be interesting to see the maintenance and ownership experience over a prolonged period of time.
Your next video should be about what PSI you put in your tyres. You could then do one on what angle you like to have your headlights at, and possibly one on your ideal cabin temperature.
This is such a great package. Predictable base engine with standard limited slip diff and optional RAS(can’t spec that on the base Carrera), the T is a fun HPDE/ weekend track car.
Nice choice for your journey and wishing you the best trip possible. Just didn't quite get the "no tinting" explanation for the light weight glass, since tint film does not require the application of heat beyond what you could expect from tropical sun exposure. Just take the car to a window tint shop and have them darken it up a tad. You should be able to find them almost anywhere on your travels.
Another fantastic vid as always. Surprised you didn't mention the Carrera T's taller gearing, do you not think it feels much different from the standard ratios in the Base 911?
A great choice, a friend of mine has just got one to replace his 4 year old Cayman in which he did 140k miles ! He wanted reliable fun, I think you get that with the de stressed T.
Hi Sam, I am surprised that you didn't take the opportunity to fit the classic Fuchs wheels when you changed yours, I think that they look awesome on classic Porsches like your 911T.
Love the appraisal of the porsche. It makes such a refreshing change that you are not just boasting about getting elite versions of a make like someone like smug sme or jww. Please keep It sensible for real car enthusiasts. One of your best reviews.
Nice video and love the car! Just one observation: from the technical point of view, the plastic rear glass helps reducing the weight, and to lower the gravity center of the car, which is a great plus for driveability and handling. This said, the full roof box will basically overcome any advantage coming from the plastic glass, beside of sound. So what do you think about that? And it will be interesting to have a feedback from you about the change of handling of the car once you will start the Drive the World adventure. Anyway, keep it going! :D
That intro footage is heavenly.
What so special about it? Copied from Evo shoots.

Just a shame that Head & Shoulders are unlikely to sponsor him.
The intro, the backdrops, filming & background music was so awesome! So excited for the Drive the world tour :)

"so, not that much speed" You drive too many modern supercars. It's still a quick car, probably as quick or quicker than your Ferrari.

Exactly! I knew I wanted the regular iron rotors (red calipers) on my GT4, so I couldn't spec a yellow car--it would look like ketchup and mustard!

If your concerned about unstrung weight then a nice set of forged wheels will do the same trick and be easily sold on :-)
