Also, make sure they sign a NDO so they can remake or resell your brand. Most people overlooked the NDO and it's China. Make sure your Manufacturing Company signs before showing any designs.

wait i’m confused i got everything expect this, the pre order we have to open up the website when everthing is done they buy your clothing and with that same money they buy you get it to pay the manufacturer for the inventory and then you ship it out right? where’s the profit and depends how much you sell your clothes. pls explain this to me
pre order needs to have your commission built in. You only pay the manufacturer their fees, you keep the rest
As a manufacturer we worked with lots of clothing brands, they usually do pre orders on their drop lets say they get 50 hoodies orders from their pre order method.
50 Hoodies x 55$ = 2750$
Normally we make hoodies for clothing brand in 25-27$ per hoodie with free shipping so let's say pay us
50 hoodies x 26$ = 1430$
2750$ - 1430$ = 1320$ ( profit)
You can exclude the marketing, photography etc cost as well and you can earn more than 1K$ in single drop.

How much does it cost to start a brand bro?
as a manufacturer I would recommend start with 1000$-1500$ which includes the sample cost, photoshoot, marketing and if you're looking to start with pre made method then this budget is good to start with.
I'm ngl whatever profit I make from my first drop coming soon I wanted to go back to Japan for a week lol but ONLY bc I have friends up there and I know they will wear my brand, plus a photo shoot etc. So it's kind of an investment since I'm networking lol
