Wow in all of my 52 years of comic book reading I have never seen a cover... A gatefold cover like that ever, that is impressive

So many panels and I couldn’t even fit them all in frame. It was crazy.

Chris - I am shocked that you would show us Daredevil 234, without mentioning that it is rare late work by the legendary Steve Ditko!!!

They are fun to hunt for. Usually in lower grade when I find them but for the price I won’t complain.

Ok. A little bit of history on Marvel Adventure. Daredevil reprints were in his annuals first, then in Marvel Super Heroes 21 to 32. Those books reprinted the first 19 issues or so. Ok, fast forward to when Marvel had the giant size books going. They canceled Marvel Triple Action and made it into a Giant Size. It lasted two issues before restarting on the regular title. In the giant size issues contained stories of the Avengers, Dr. Strange, and Daredevil. The two issues reprinted Daredevil 20 and 21. Marvel then made the decision to keep Avengers reprints in Triple Action, Dr. Strange in Strange Tales, and Daredevil in a new reprint title, Marvel Adventure. In 1976, though, Marvel slashed a lot of reprints, including Marvel Adventure, sadly. Hope this helps

This is amazing! So helpful, thank you. I love learning about the reprints as well as the industry events that were affecting their publication.

Amazing collection of books! Loved your commentary was you went through each. I am not sure how long Sean Murphy has been doing comics. The first book I've seen him on was The Wake (Snyder writing and Murphy on pencils). Worth looking for. Thanks for the video!
